00:09:46it largely led to the defeat that the LOD suffered.

00:10:37And you know somewhere tonight Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels are gonna cross paths.

00:10:52JR, I'll tell you what, the Legion of Doom learning now it is hard to win tag team action

00:10:57in the WWF with just two people.

00:10:59Well, I think the LOD certainly, in my view, the greatest tag team combination of all time.

00:11:04I have the utmost respect for both Hawk and Animal, but they are enduring challenging times.

00:11:09Their physical styles may have caught up with them a little bit over the last 14 years.

00:11:14And the numbers game, as you mentioned, Michael, can be very, very tough.

00:11:18The LOD needs allies.

00:11:20The LOD needs to change their game.

00:11:23Here's Animal now into the ring for the Legion of Doom.

00:11:26And here comes the NWA North American Champion, Jeff Jarrett after the tag for Barry Windham.

00:11:31Windham who went back to his roots, and certainly we know that Jeff Jarrett's gonna have a very busy night this Sunday

00:11:38when he steps in defending the NWA North American title against Bradshaw.

00:11:41I don't think of too many WWF superstars that wanna lock horns with that tough Texan.

00:11:46Jarrett now whipped in the ropes by Animal.

00:11:48Oh, what a takedown by Animal.

00:11:50Nothing but brute force by Animal.

00:11:52Sending Jarrett for the ride.

00:11:54But there's the quickness of Jarrett caught by the clothesline by the 295-pounder from the Legion of Doom.

00:12:00Animal whipped into the ropes now, misses with the right hand, Jarrett.

00:12:03Animal now, what a flying tackle.

00:12:05Torpedo through the air.

00:12:06So far, the NWA has not been able to match the power of the Legion of Doom.

00:12:11Once again, Animal whipped off the ropes and caught from behind by Barry Windham.

00:12:16Distraction time, and there the NWA again takes advantage.

00:12:19This is exactly the numbers game we're talking about.

00:12:22A clothesline by Windham, the former NWA Champion, knocking down Animal.

00:12:28When you get five on two, not even the Legion of Doom can overcome those odds.

00:12:34Something must be done with the Legion of Doom, by the Legion of Doom,

00:12:38to change the complexion of their careers at this point in time.

00:12:45The Legion of Doom perhaps the greatest tag team in the history of this sport.

00:12:49However, this is an important matchup, a turning point perhaps for the LOD.

00:13:18in the entire game.

00:13:25You mentioned the LOD maybe losing some of that swagger, JR.

00:13:28I noticed in the locker room, the talk is is that perhaps the Legion of Doom have

00:13:37before even stepping into the ring, now know they can hang with Hawk and Animal.

00:13:58Windham though, gets the boot in, makes the quick tag.

00:14:02Six foot seven, 300 pounder from Sweetwater, Texas, the former partner of Bradshaw.

00:16:43So the plot is a plan, apparently, for China to try to get the belt back.

00:16:51And perhaps that's the reason why the Quebecers have gotten to the top of the

00:16:56goal.

00:16:58Perhaps Godwin insurance.

00:17:00And the Quebecers will meet the Godwins this Sunday.

00:17:02The air of the Quebecers set to go against Henry Godwin in just a few moments.

00:17:10But this past Saturday, Shotgun Saturday night,

00:17:12the Godwins cost the Quebecers a tag team win over Los Periquas,

00:17:16thanks to the slot bucket in the head.

00:17:17And perhaps that's the reason why the Quebecers have gotten a slot bucket of

00:17:21their own, perhaps Godwin insurance.

00:17:24And the Quebecers will meet the Godwins this Sunday's sold out compact center

00:17:28in Houston, Texas, the Quebecers versus the Godwins.

00:17:40Well, perhaps in a story of turnabout being fair play,

00:17:43also on the same Shotgun Saturday night broadcast,

00:17:46in tag team action as the Godwins were taking on the other half of the Periquas,

00:17:50it was the Quebecers that in large part helped the Godwins to lose.

00:17:55So this Sunday, when the Godwins take on the Quebecers,

00:17:58it's two teams that are looking to get right back into title hunt.
