00:39Earlier this week, Afghanistan's Taliban government accused Pakistan of bombing its capital, Kabul,

00:45and a market in the east, attacks Islamabad has not claimed responsibility for.

00:51This particular group fuels conflicts along the hypothetical line, violates Afghanistan's

00:58airspace and bombards public places.

01:02It should be clear to everyone that Afghanistan has the right to defend its territorial and

01:08aerial sovereignty and will not leave any aggression unanswered.

01:12Pakistan says it responded with gun and artillery fire.

01:16Its foreign minister insisting its army is acting with restraint.

01:20Our defensive response is not targeted towards peace-loving Afghan civilian population.

01:25Unlike Taliban forces, we are exercising extreme caution in our defensive responses to avoid loss

01:31of civilian lives.

01:33Islamabad has long accused the Afghan Taliban government of permitting the Pakistan Taliban,

01:39also known as the TTP, to operate from their land and conduct cross-border attacks, something

01:45Afghanistan's authorities deny.
