00:00So let's start off then with the latest news coming into us from Jerusalem and we can take
00:04you there of course and show you live images from the scene. We've been getting information
00:08coming into us now confirmed that the death toll has risen now from four to five in that incident,
00:14shooting on a bus, the police saying that the terrorists involved have been neutralised.
00:21Let's bring you the latest from the scene from our correspondent Nogatana Polsky.
00:30The wounded have just been evacuated from the scene of the crime. Apparently two armed terrorists
00:39had boarded a bus in a very crowded Monday morning junction and simply started shooting. The weapons
00:48they used are a sort of improvised weapon, homemade, that here informally are called Carlo, but they're
00:55kind of homemade submachine guns so that they can cause significant damage. And the two shooters
01:03were apparently themselves shot and killed by an off duty soldier who happened to be on the bus.
01:10There's an interesting detail that I thought might interest our viewers in the way that different
01:16government powers come together. In Israel there have there's been a flurry of complaints against
01:22the Ministry of Transport for mishandling transport, especially here in the capital in Jerusalem
01:28and causing terrible traffic jams. In today's case that proved fatal because the bus could not move.
01:36Even if they were kicked out, the terrorists basically had a captive audience. None of the cars could move.
01:45And then emergency vehicles had an almost impossible time reaching them, all because of these unmanaged
01:54traffic jams in the north of the city. So that is being commented quite significantly. There's a concern
02:00that possibly even some of the wounded could have been treated on site had medical help been immediately accessible to them.
