00:00In the West Bank village of Katana, the Shemazne family anxiously wait for the return of two members
00:06imprisoned by Israel for 32 years.
00:09Barred from jail visits, they've not seen each other for nearly a decade.
00:1383-year-old Yusef Shemazne, the father of the two imprisoned brothers,
00:18can barely believe that his sons are coming home.
00:22I hope they will release them so I can see them.
00:24But if they are released abroad, neither I nor their mother will be able to visit them.
00:30We can no longer walk, she uses a walking frame, and I've had a stroke.
00:36We simply can't.
00:42Thank God, it's the greatest joy to finally embrace my father after all these years.
00:48I was nine years old when he was arrested.
00:52There were no visits. I haven't seen him for eight years.
00:55I haven't even visited him because the authorities wouldn't give us permission.
01:02Praise God, this is true happiness, and I wish peace for everyone.
01:05Abdel Jawad and Mohammed Shemazne were sentenced to life imprisonment by Israel in 1993
01:16for their involvement in an attack that killed three Israelis in Jerusalem.
01:22They are among 250 Palestinian prisoners due to be released on Monday,
01:27who were accused of murdering Israelis.
01:29Some 1,700 Palestinians will return to the enclave.
01:34Many of them were detained by Israel during the two-year-old war without trial or judgment.
