00:00Central Tel Aviv was packed with tens of thousands of protesters on Saturday

00:05not as many as a week ago after six hostages were found dead in a Gaza tunnel.

00:13Hostage families urged the government to take a deal that would save those held by Hamas

00:19a deal that would also stop the deadly bombing in Gaza and rocket fire on Israel.

00:26Bringing back the hostages should be the number one target, the number one goal

00:34and the fact that it doesn't happen really makes me very, very frustrated.

00:40With 101 hostages left in Gaza, some alive, others dead

00:46families tried to raise awareness to get more vocal public support.

00:51One of them released the audio recording of their son sent by Hamas.

01:04Those calling for a deal feel that yet another opportunity was missed in the past two weeks

01:10despite a general strike, mass protests

01:14and security officials saying the hostages' release could be beneficial on the ground.

01:20I think that instead of going into a regional, some kind of agreement

01:27where everybody can kind of work together and bring these people back home

01:33if anything it's getting only worse by the minute.

01:37With military operations intensifying to the north of Israel

01:41protesters also gathered outside the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem

01:46feel the hope for a deal with Hamas is fading away

01:50and that the government has sealed the fate of the hostages.
