00:00The 15 months of war in Gaza has seen thousands of demonstrators take to the streets of London,

00:05voicing their support for Palestinians and demanding an end to the fighting.

00:11The announcement of the ceasefire has been welcomed by pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

00:18They're hoping for a permanent end to the conflict.

00:23We might now be on the brink of an agreement that will bring an end to the immediate slaughter

00:28of Palestinians. We come here with trepidation because we know Israel has a history of violating

00:34ceasefire agreements.

00:37Demonstrators over in Barcelona are also keeping up the pressure on Israel's government.

00:42Some fear it will not live up to its commitments.

00:45Under the agreement, Israeli troops should withdraw from Gaza and the enclave should

00:49see a surge in humanitarian aid.

00:51For these activists, there are still many unknowns.

00:57It is not clear if human rights will be guaranteed, that the refugees will be able to return or

01:03that the bodies of the dead will be returned to their families.

01:06In other words, we have to keep fighting and we have to keep a close eye on what is happening

01:12in Gaza.

01:15The agreement also involves the release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli

01:19hostages held by Hamas.

01:22These demonstrators gathered in Paris are deeply concerned about the fate of the hostages.

01:29We want the hostages to be released as soon as possible and we want their captivity in

01:34inhumane conditions as we know in the tunnels of Gaza by Hamas to end very soon.

01:41Of the 251 people who were kidnapped, 94 are still in Gaza, including 34 who are dead,

01:47according to the Israeli military.
