01:00following a separate attack by Russia on the Ukrainian power grid a day earlier,
01:05which caused blackouts across much of the country.
01:08The energy sector has been a key battleground since Russia launched its all-out invasion more than three years ago.
01:15Each year, Russia has tried to cripple the Ukrainian power grid before the winter season,
01:20apparently hoping to erode public morale.
01:22U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to travel to the Middle East next week
01:29to participate in a signing ceremony of the Gaza peace deal in Egypt,
01:34potentially marking the end of the two-year bloody Israel-Hamas war, according to media reports.
01:41During the trip, Trump is first scheduled to visit Israel where a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
01:49and an address to the Neset, Israel's parliament, are planned.
01:53According to Israeli media reports, Trump is likely to meet with the families of hostages,

02:04On Saturday, Egyptian government sources said Trump will be received in the red city of Sham el-Sheikh
02:11to participate in a signing ceremony along with other guarantors of the Gaza peace deal.
02:17The U.S. President's planned trip to the Middle East follows his announcement early Thursday
02:22that Israel and Hamas had agreed to the first phase of a cease-fire agreement in Gaza.
02:32U.S. troops have begun arriving in Israel to oversee the implementation of the cease-fire agreement in Gaza,
02:40according to two sources cited by ABC News.
02:43U.S. officials said 200 troops will be on the ground to set up a coordination center,
02:48but they are not expected to enter Gaza.

03:42France's newly reappointed prime minister, Sébastien Lecournu, called for calm and for support of political parties
03:49as he vowed to tackle the deepening political chaos gripping the country.

04:05I have no feeling that there were a lot of candidates, to be completely transparent.
04:10And so, I will tell you, as I said to the French and French on the television this week,
04:16I have no agenda.
04:18I have no other ambition than to get out of this moment that is objectively very painful for everyone.
04:24Lecournu's reappointment is seen as President Macron's last chance to reinvigorate his second term,
04:30which runs until 2027.
04:33But it drew sharp criticism from rivals on the far left and far right,
04:37who have called for Macron to resign and call snap elections.
04:41In his comments on Saturday, Lecournu didn't address opposition demands
04:45to scrap a contentious law raising the retirement age.
