00:00tempted to consider it as a result of our greatness we made great moves we
00:06crashed our opponent let's move on but I bet you there is a mistake and if you
00:15don't find these mistakes if you didn't find what went wrong in your game before
00:24they did they will be ahead of you next time so to be out of a curve you always
00:30have to analyze your own games even if you win and that's what I did all the
00:35time
00:42studying classical games always helps because at the end of the day it's about
00:49patterns and working and find best place for learning patterns if not studying
00:56the games of those giants who have invented these ideas I spent a lot of
01:06time working on a series of books called my great predecessors and one of the
01:10things I discovered in the process of working on these books is that very
01:16often in the crucial moments of these games they made better decisions at the
01:22board at the moment where all your senses are mobilized they they saw more and
01:29better moves than what one later they were in comfort of the studies writing
01:38books and making comments when your senses are switched off I can only
01:46recommend to read these books because this is like an encyclopedia of chess
01:53ideas you can enjoy some of them more than others you can like Morphe games more
01:58than Steinle's games
