Are you happy to pay more for the country to go green or should lower energy bills be the priority?

00:00When the idea of green energy came in an environment, I thought, yeah, great, of course, it's the right thing to do.

00:07But I think people are waking up and smelling my coffee now about how much extra it costs and there's a balance to be struck.

00:13Well, energy bill is a priority.

00:14I'm all for the environment. However, you know, it's that balancing act, isn't it?

00:22Without, you know, richer people can afford that luxury without sound and not against people being wealthy.

00:30Because we need wealthy people to a degree to drive the economy.

00:33But it's a balance again, isn't it?

00:36Of course, it's important, but I think there's some sort of halfway house between net zero going as green as you can and paying over the odds.

00:47Like heat pumps are ridiculously expensive. I know they're pushing it, but who can afford them?

00:53We're a load of solar panels on the roof. So that's it.
