00:00As pensioners, it's here and now, you know, and I mean, the standing charges are just
00:08ridiculous at the moment, you know. I think they should be looking at them as standing
00:12charges for gas and for electricity.
00:14I think bringing bills down should be the priority in 2025. I mean, cost of living
00:19is high anyway, regardless of gas prices, electrical prices.
00:23My generation, you know, who are struggling? I mean, I'm not struggling. I pay my bills,
00:29I get by. But for some, it's, you know, it's horrendous, as they say, you either eat and
00:36don't eat.
00:37It's a little bit of a hard one because I've always saved up and managed and made sure that
00:41I've got a warm home over the winter period, even with the idea of it's getting more expensive.
00:47But then this is also where the national, like, costs of everything are and you should be able
00:52to budget it and plan out for these different freak weather accidents or freak things there.
