00:00It does feel like Christmas in October, does it not?
00:03Celebrations continue to cross the Middle East over the historic peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.
00:10And at the White House, Team Trump took a much-deserved victory lap.
00:15You settled seven wars or major conflicts, but wars.
00:19And this is number eight.
00:20I think it's going to be a lasting peace, hopefully an everlasting peace.
00:24Peace in the Middle East.
00:26Let's face it, only Donald Trump, with his relentless pursuit of peace and his team's outside-the-box thinking, could have gotten it done.
00:34Remember, a month ago, I never thought this was possible.
00:36You convened a historic meeting, not simply of Arab countries, but of Muslim-majority countries from around the world, including Indonesia was there, Pakistan was there, and created this coalition behind this plan.
00:47The president had some extraordinary phone calls and meetings that required a high degree of intensity and commitment and made this happen.
00:59This was a team effort, and the president, as any great coach would do, spread the credit around.
01:07We did, as a group, with Steve and Jared and Marco and me and all of us.
01:13We got the hostages back.
01:15We got many of them back.
01:16JD, you were fantastic.
01:18And Pete, you were great.
01:20Susie, I want to thank you very much.
01:21CIA, John Ratcliffe, and he's done an incredible job.
01:24So I want to thank you all, and if I'm missing anybody, I apologize, but you've been amazing.
01:31I want to thank the Academy.
01:32Well, since he was sworn into office, Trump never lost sight of the human cost of this conflict, the suffering on both sides, especially of the families of the hostages.
01:42The first thing we're doing is getting our hostages back, okay?
01:45And that's what people wanted more than anything else.
01:48They wanted these hostages back that have lived in hell like nobody has ever even dreamt possible.
01:55Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was with some of the families last night.
02:00President Trump, you have the best crowd in the world.
02:03What do you guys have to say to President Trump?
02:10You did it.
02:11You did it.
02:15This is amazing.
02:16Mr. President, we believe in you, and we trust you'll fulfill the mission until every hostage, every 48 of the hostages are home.
02:25Thank you so much.
02:26Blessed be the peacemakers.
02:28The hostages will come back.
02:29They're all coming back on Monday.
02:31All of them.
02:35And typical Trump, he's already focused on phase two.
02:39What is phase two?
02:40When does it begin?
02:41We're going to talk about that because you sort of know what phase two is, but we will, there will be disarming, there will be pullbacks, there will be a lot of things happening.
02:49We can't live right now in Gaza.
02:51You know, the place is a, it's a horrible situation.
02:55Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
02:57So, yeah, we're going to create better conditions for people.
02:59That's an ambitious goal.
03:02And the president says, don't worry, he's not getting us into the Bush era nation building business.
03:07This is about securing a lasting peace, which will be better for America in the long run.
03:14Look, let's face it.
03:15Trump keeps winning by getting this deal done.
03:17He proved not just the skeptics abroad wrong, but the chorus of naysayers here as well.
03:23The two-state solution is the only way to achieve a just and lasting peace.
03:31Joe Biden is fighting for a peace in the Middle East, is fighting to end the hostilities between Israel and Gaza.
03:40It's Joe Biden that's standing for peace and a lasting peace at that.
03:46And it's the Republicans that, frankly, would stoke the flames of war in the Middle East.
03:51We're going through that kind of crisis, I think, now in the Middle East.
03:54There are a lot of decisions that have to be made.
03:57I don't think Trump is capable of making the decisions.
04:00Oh, I was hoping my staff found that soundbite.
04:03I love it, John Bolton.
04:05Eat your words.
04:06Now, all of those seasoned pros in diplomacy and foreign affairs, they spent decades bungling things in the Middle East.
04:14But Trump assembled a group of really smart people who figured it out.
04:19Now, what they might have lacked in foreign policy experience, they made up for in drive and common sense.
04:26I kept thinking this all day long.
04:28Isn't it a relief after four long years of Antony Blinken and the auto pen to have a president capable of great things with the dream team hammering out all the deal points?
04:39Obviously, the president of the United States, a New York real estate billionaire, one of the most famous New Yorkers in the world, has a lot of interaction with a lot of people who are very pro-Israel.
04:49I think that was an important set of experiences and life experiences that he brought to the table.
04:54He also, of course, knew one of the most famous Palestinians in the world, Chuck Schumer.
04:58And I think without that background of knowledge, it would have been impossible to get us to this.
05:03OK, I love that moment because it's nice to see a cabinet laughing with the president, not at him.
05:10So this was just such a monumental accomplishment that even the president's most vicious, venal critics had to admit, yeah, this deal was big.
05:19Joe Biden could never do that.
05:23And Donald Trump was able to do it and did it at the decisive moment when he said, essentially, this war must end.
05:31And Israel cannot annex the West Bank, which many right wing Israelis wanted.
05:36It is a remarkable achievement.
05:38He has done this through diplomacy, pressure and the sheer force of his personality and persistence.
05:43Even if someone with whom you disagree about 99 things does the 100 really well, you should say so.
05:52And so all credit to President Trump.
05:56Hell has frozen over.
05:59Now, as for the few diehard Trump haters claiming that he did this just to get the Nobel Peace Prize, just stop.
06:04You're so embarrassing yourselves.
06:06With so many lives on the line for so long, Trump has bragging rights, period.
06:12Nobody in history has solved eight wars in a period of nine months.
06:19And I've stopped eight wars.
06:21So that's never happened before.
06:22But they'll have to do what they do.
06:24Whatever they do is fine.
06:26I know this.
06:27I didn't do it for that.
06:28I did it because I saved a lot of lives.
06:30Let's take a long time.
06:35Let's do it.
06:36Let's do it.
