00:00The media's coverage of this story has already proven to be very predictable.

00:04Every single report that we've been able to find immediately tells the reader, even in the headline, that this is political retribution.

00:10That the only reason this is happening is because she went after Trump.

00:14Remember that the media never force fed its audience that narrative, anything like that,

00:20when Trump himself was hit with 91 felony charges as he ran for president after an entire lifetime of having no legal trouble at all.

00:29You never saw Donald Trump, number one enemy of the deep state, hit with multiple felony charges as he runs for president.

00:35That was never a headline in Reuters or anywhere else.

00:39And Carrie Lake joins us now to talk about this.

00:41What a moment to see that federal charge against one of the worst out there.

00:47I think like a lot of Americans, I was starting to think, well, maybe it won't happen,

00:51even though I've heard the news about, you know, all of the problems with her mortgage documents.

00:57I mean, that's real basic stuff.

00:59She's a top law enforcement officer.

01:02She should be thrilled that this administration is following the law, the letter of the law to a T.

01:09And the good news is I actually think that Tish is going to look really good in orange.

01:15I think it might be her color.

01:17Hey, nobody's above the law, Carrie, as we learned so many times from Tish James.

01:21They're calling this retribution, and sure, why not?

01:24Let's call it retribution.

01:26But there has to be this for what they did.

01:29And that's the point.

01:29You remember how much time Trump spent sitting in court, how hard they tried to humiliate him?

01:35And again, he goes 78 years.

01:37He never has any legal trouble.

01:38And all of a sudden, he has 91 felonies at 79 years old.

01:41And you're telling me that's not political?

01:43This is necessary.

01:44The people that did this, this needs to happen to them.

01:48Otherwise, they'll just do it again.

01:50If a lesson isn't learned here, then these people will just get worse, and they'll do it again.

01:55Well, I don't think it's retribution at all.

01:57I think it is law and order.

01:58It's justice.

01:59There was a wrongdoing here.

02:01It sounds like it's a solid case.

02:03We're going to get more information as the days unfold.

02:06And I think it's going to be an open and shut case, a real easy one.

02:10And it's all there in the documents, and nobody forced anybody to sign a document.

02:15And so when you fill out these documents, it's really hard to prove otherwise that you are innocent when, in fact, the evidence is right there in front of you.

02:24And we think of what happened to President Trump and the fact that he was dragged through all of this nonsense.

02:31Meanwhile, New York City devolved into just a crime haven where criminals were running the streets, killing people, maiming people, hurting people, and not being prosecuted.

02:42Maybe the good news is that when Tish does go to prison, there's going to be no criminals there because she didn't help lock any of them up.

02:50But I know that we are going to start locking people up who are doing wrongdoing in places like New York, in places like Chicago, L.A., and other crime-ridden cities.

03:01And it's about time that we have law and order and that the people who pay their taxes work hard, can walk on the streets and not have to be surrounded by criminals, including potentially someone like Tish.

03:12It really is just a reminder of just how dirty the inner workings of these big blue cities are.

03:21I mean, how corrupt the people that get in.

03:23I mean, people like, I mean, how in the hell is Tish James, the attorney general of New York, how did that even happen?

03:28And you see it when, I mean, it's the same reason we're about to have Mamdani as the mayor of this city.

03:33It's just the Republicans don't vote.

03:36The Democrats know they have it.

03:37So you get the worst of the Democrat Party, the primary is the election, and you end up with these horrific people that are running the most important city in the world.

03:46Well, this is why we need to, another thing that President Trump talks about, get back to real honest elections where we vote on election day.

03:55We don't have election month.

03:56We don't have mail-in ballots.

03:58Because I think a lot of common sense voters have just given up in some of these blue states and blue cities.

04:03They say, why should I even vote?

04:04It's just rigged.

04:05It's just a mess.

04:06There's no chance.

04:07And so I hope we get to that point, because I think when we do have really true elections, one legal vote per legal voter, we don't end up with the Tish's of the world.

04:17We don't end up with the Mamdani's.

04:19We don't end up with the Gavin Newsom's.

04:21We end up with common sense people in office.

04:24And I think that's what we're going to start seeing.
