00:00I was not ready to show up this morning.

00:03The way we talked yesterday, I thought, I'm expecting them to look good,

00:07and I'm really, really worried about the goaltending.

00:09The flip end actually maybe happened is they didn't score a goal,

00:13but I kind of felt pretty good about how the goalie looked.

00:16I loved his game last night.

00:19I know, like, given up four and it looks kind of lopsided

00:24and the save percentage isn't going to be any good off of that game,

00:26but I thought he made an unbelievable first save of the game

00:31off of a one-timer shot, glove save to just settle right in,

00:36which was a really, really solid start.

00:39Like, that just gives your team a second to, like,

00:42okay, we could have given one up there.

00:44We didn't.

00:44Our guy bailed us out.

00:46Let's get rolling, and they did not do that,

00:49and he was their best player in the first period by a mile, in my opinion.

00:53He looked calm and confident.

00:56He read plays really, really well.

00:59Everything that could have gotten eaten up by him got eaten up.

01:03Everything that touched his chest protector stayed in his chest protector,

01:06and he did a great job of providing them every opportunity to win that game,

01:12and you just need a goal.

01:15You give them a performance like that through whatever it was,

01:19it's 47 minutes that you give them a one-goal deficit to come back out of,

01:25and your team can't give you one,

01:26and that's all you can ask of a goalie, really.

01:30Yeah.

01:30You're never expecting your guy to play any better than Lyon did last night,

01:37I don't think.

01:38Yeah, at least in the first 57 minutes.

01:40Like, you're not getting much better than that on a consistent basis.

01:44There will be an outlier game here or there

01:45where you'll get a really good night out of a guy.

01:49Yeah.

01:50But if that's what you're getting out of Lyon consistently,

01:53you're going to win games if you can score.

01:56Yeah.

01:57You've got to score.

01:58Yeah.

01:58So I thought he played really well.

02:00I'm encouraged by it.

02:01I think he's back in there on Saturday against Boston.
