00:17Klang's claim to culinary fame may be bakuté,

00:21but there's something different sizzling in the city.

00:24Skinny Legs BBQ is turning up the heat in Klang's food scene with its lip-smacking barbecue pizza, pasta, burgers and more.

00:35The power couple behind this restaurant is Yuvan Vaisalingam from Mauritius and his wife Praveena Nair, a Klangite.

00:43They began their business at home in 2020 and opened their restaurant in 2022.

00:49What inspired the quirky name?

00:51We were just like sitting outside in the garden. I said, what to do? We need to, we must find something.

00:57And I had a few cans of beers.

00:59At the time, I was like, okay, what to do?

01:01And then I saw my leg. I was already short. I saw my leg.

01:04I said, we need to find a name. We need a name.

01:07Really catchy name.

01:09My leg feels so skinny.

01:11I said, okay, we call it Skinny Legs.

01:14Their restaurant may have the word skinny in its name, but the couple don't skim on anything here.

01:21The generous serving of smoked pork ribs are deliciously tender and flavorful, making every single bite heavenly.

01:30If you're a seafood lover, ask for their spiced perch filet with smoked eggplant.

01:35Fresh, flaky fish paired with smoky sweet eggplant.

01:39It's comfort food at its best.

01:40The paprika grilled tiger prawns is another satisfying dish. Fresh, juicy and packed with earthy flavors from the paprika.

01:51The mutton barul pizza is where East meets West.

01:54The light pizza crust is topped with their bold, flavorful barul.
