00:00Surprise!
00:06I don't want to feel sad.
00:08I don't want to feel memories.
00:09I don't want to feel nothing.
00:11Tracy and I did have a lot of disagreements,
00:14if I'm honest about it.
00:15But we still very much loved each other.
00:17I got to know a different side of Tracy
00:20than to how our relationship was on television.
00:22It was very adult. It was very sister-like.
00:25As amazing the Braxton's was for everyone,
00:28for me, that wasn't my story.
00:31And I deserve, you know, to be proud of myself
00:34at the end of the day.
00:35I can't be happy about my life if I'm not proud of myself.
00:38Let's make sure everybody is ready.
00:42Tapping with the lighting.
00:44All right, let's go ahead.
00:45Here we go.
00:46Hey!
00:47Hey, Mommy!
00:48Hey!
00:49How are you?
00:50I haven't seen you in forever.
00:51You smell good.
00:52Well, yeah.
00:53You smell great.
00:54Thank you, girl.
00:55What's new?
00:56Let's make sure everybody is ready.
00:58Tapping with the lighting.
01:00All right, let's go ahead and move.
01:02Here we go.
01:03Hey.
01:03Hey, Mommy.
01:05Hey.
01:06How are you?
01:08I haven't seen you in forever.
01:11You smell good.
01:13Well, yeah.
01:13You smell great.
01:15Thank you, girl.
01:17What's new?
01:18Not that I have a cold.
01:20Oh.
01:21I'm not contagious.
01:22Oh, OK.
01:23Mommy is in L.A. to visit some of her friends.
01:26And while she's here, I want to steal her away for just a little bit so she can fill me in on everything that's been going on in Atlanta.
01:32Just tell me what I missed because apparently I missed everything.
01:35Well, OK, then.
01:36You know, we celebrated Tracy's birthday.
01:38Yes.
01:39Yes.
01:39That was nice.
01:40Yes.
01:40That was nice.
01:41Kevin came in town.
01:43OK.
01:43OK.
01:44Kevin seemed to be a little out of it.
01:48Hello, Kevin.
01:48He's meeting with spirit for therapy before he goes back to Maryland.
01:54I am a little concerned about Kevin.
01:57He seems to be a little lost.
02:00He's going through a divorce and what have you, and his mom is not here.
02:05I think he's going to have to have extensive counseling.
02:09How is your residency?
02:11How are you doing?
02:12I am nervous.
02:13I've been cautious is the word because I'm never nervous about performing, but just cautious, just making sure I pace myself and don't overdo it.
02:20And catching this cold isn't the best thing.
02:23Mm-hmm.
02:24Yeah.
02:24So when do you start?
02:26Mother's Day.
02:26Mother's Day.
02:28What's great is that the show's all worked out, but I just need to make sure I schedule some rest periods in between so I don't overwork my body.
02:34I don't want the lupus to flare up.
02:35I don't want to do anything to get it excited.
02:37So I have to prepare and listen to my body no matter what.
02:41Hello.
02:42Good evening.
02:43How are you doing tonight?
02:44I'm good.
02:45Can I get a hot toddy?
02:47A hot toddy?
02:48I think I'll have a hot cup of tea.
02:51You want to order?
02:52I'm whatever you eat, that's what I'm going to eat.
02:55So just do our usual.
02:57Of course.
02:57Thank you, Sanjay.
02:58You're welcome.
02:59So what about Sid?
03:02Sid is fantastic.
03:03Is he?
03:03Although I'm telling some jokes.
03:06What?
03:06You got jokes on me.
03:08He's letting me do a few jokes.
03:09You've been practicing?
03:10I've been practicing.
03:11Yes.
03:12We have our hot toddy.
03:13Okay, maybe he'll like the joke.
03:15Can you move over here?
03:16Tell me what you think about my jokes.
03:17Okay, this is a joke, okay?
03:19What do you call a bear with no teeth?
03:24I'm not sure.
03:25A gummy bear.
03:30What?
03:33Nope.
03:34You didn't think it was funny?
03:36You think it's funny?
03:37I thought it was pretty good.
03:40Okay.
03:41I have a kid, so I think it was a little funny.
03:43He don't think so.
03:44He just tried to be crazy.
03:48You're welcome.
03:48You can't wait to get away.
03:50What?
03:52Bye.
03:54Did you say to him, I'll be a child.
03:56Whatever, pronto.
03:58Here we go.
03:59Don't tell me another joke.
04:01Just go ahead and sing.
04:03I enjoy that.
04:05Trina and I went shopping to find me a dress.
04:09Oh, that's long enough.
04:10Now that's cute.
04:11Yeah, that's me.
04:13That's more me.
04:14For what?
04:14Aren't you setting something up for me?
04:23Oh, the date thing?
04:25Yeah.
04:26You were serious about that?
04:28I thought you were serious.
04:31My kids are still trying to get me to go out on dates, especially Tony trying to set up
04:40a date for me.
04:42Are they always the wrong ones, though?
04:45I don't know.
04:46I'm nervous about it.
04:48I'm going to do it.
04:50Let me get you a date.
04:51What about a retired basketball player?
04:54They have bad knees.
04:55They're not wrapped too tight because they knocked down, bumped their heads.
05:02Uh-uh.
05:03Okay.
05:05What about a professor?
05:07Well, you think they might have Alzheimer's because they use their brain so much?
05:14The only thing left of mine is a 30, 40-year-old.
05:16That's all I got for you.
05:17Oh, no.
05:17We don't roll like that.
05:20Mommy has very high standards for everything in her life, and most of all, men.
05:26Miss E is picky is...
05:28I like tall guys.
05:29So, she would be tall.
05:30Financially?
05:31Stable.
05:32Somebody that's successful.
05:34I don't like roughneck.
05:36Oh, I wouldn't think you would like a roughneck, Ma.
05:39And she wants him to walk like Denzel Washington.
05:43I don't know where we're going to find this guy.
05:45I really do think the guy, that right guy, is out there.
05:48So, I'm going to make some calls to my friends, and we'll never stop looking until we find
05:52the perfect guy for her.
05:55Ma, I think you should hang out with your girlfriends, and maybe they need to tell you what you need
05:58today.
05:59I was thinking about talking to my girlfriend, Maybelline.
06:02And to judge me.
06:03Yeah.
06:04Yeah.
06:05I think I'm going to do that.
06:07I just wanted to know the number.
06:08We're like, 50s too young.
06:09Girl, that's my children age.
06:11That's y'all age.
06:1260s too young.
06:14It's 80 too old.
06:17Now, that's the joke.
06:21The devil I'm going to do with that.
06:23Oh, your mercy.
06:30She pulled it up now.
06:36What you doing with all that?
06:38What it is?
06:40What it is?
06:41How you doing?
06:43Hey, baby.
06:44Mwah.
06:45Yes, honey.
06:46I love you.
06:47I love you.
06:48I love you.
06:49Thank you for doing this.
06:51Carlos King is a reality TV producer and creator.
06:57And when Tracy was sick, she wanted to tell her story.
07:03So, I called Carlos.
07:05Carlos, he held on to that secret.
07:09And that's how Carlos and I became very, very good friends.
07:14Okay.
07:14So, listen.
07:15What are we doing?
07:16Okay.
07:17So, this is real talk.
07:20Tonight.
07:21Uh-huh.
07:22It's all about you.
07:23Okay.
07:24It's all about you.
07:25What that means?
07:26What that means is we are going to have a conversation.
07:30About what?
07:31We're going to talk about the past, present, and future.
07:34You're such a producer.
07:38You're just like, you're over here.
07:39No, no.
07:39You know, this is all about you.
07:41It is.
07:42This is your moment.
07:43This is for you to let Lose say what you need to say so I can get out there and tell everybody
07:48all my damn business.
07:49No, I'm not.
07:50No.
07:51Carlos is a kiki.
07:53So, I'm feeling excited about being here but a little nervous because messy money is
07:58it's time to get messy on a Monday.
08:01Okay.
08:02What are we not talking about?
08:03Well, listen.
08:04With you and I, nothing's off limits.
08:06However.com backslash org.
08:10I know the limitations.
08:13First of all, not.
08:15Why the lip purse, honey?
08:20I can't.
08:21But you know I know what to know.
08:23Hey mom, I can't take your lip, your lip lip purse.
08:26Everybody wants to know about the Braxton's and why is it coming back and why I specifically,
08:33you know, am a part of this.
08:35I mean, I don't have a problem talking about the show because, you know, I have nothing
08:38to hide.
08:39My truth is my truth and it's the truth.
08:42And, I mean, I'm here for Tracy.
08:45We're going to have fun.
08:46It's a kiki.
08:47It's a live conversation.
08:49And it's really all about you.
08:50So, that's all we're going to do.
08:52Okay.
08:53We're going to have so much fun.
08:55Oh my God, Carlos.
08:56I need a drink.
09:04Even though they say the show must go on, sometimes shows get canceled.
09:08They were talking and then he started slurring and then she said the phone blacked out.
09:22Luke, Kevin is in the valley in the shadow of death.
09:39Hey, Mikey.
09:50Welcome, welcome.
09:52Hey, Mikey.
09:54What's up, bud?
09:55Hi.
09:56Oh, you got it all set up.
09:57Oh, what's that?
10:01This is for Unbreak My Heart.
10:03I love it.
10:05With my Vegas residency being just around the corner, my stylist, Ashley, and I are meeting
10:10just to make some final decisions.
10:13Well, which do I try on first?
10:14What are we doing?
10:15I want to try on the white one.
10:16Okay, I'm going to try it on.
10:18Residency shows are bigger than they ever were.
10:21The wardrobe is a huge, huge part of that.
10:24Yada.
10:25Okay.
10:26What do you think?
10:28A little naked.
10:29Let me tie you in.
10:29Let me tie you in the back.
10:30Booty-ish still, huh?
10:32Naked booty-ish?
10:33I feel so naked.
10:34Do you?
10:35It's just your leg out, T.
10:36I know, but...
10:37You got one leg out.
10:38And then you got this side zip.
10:40But it's a lot of booty.
10:42I hate this shoe, though.
10:44We're not doing this shoe, right?
10:45No, no, no, no.
10:46What's wrong with this shoe?
10:47This shoe is horrible.
10:48You know that's not the shoe.
10:51Let me tie on one more for the after party.
10:54Okay.
10:56A little short thing?
10:58I think it might be...
10:59Guys, I don't think this looks too Easter.
11:03You know, Mommy wears colors.
11:04She loves these colors.
11:05This and blues.
11:07Mommy!
11:08I got to hook Mommy up.
11:09I'm trying to find her a date.
11:10When I told Mommy a week ago
11:12that I'd help set her up on a blind date,
11:14I didn't realize she was ready to go, like, right away.
11:18So I need to make it happen before she changes her mind.
11:22But I mean, you know anybody.
11:23Think of somebody.
11:24Let's put Miss E on the app.
11:25I don't know if she's going to do the app thing.
11:27She ain't going to do the app?
11:27No.
11:28Just don't get her on Grindr.
11:29That's the wrong one for Mommy.
11:30Well, I don't know nothing about those amount of names.
11:33Keep her on Grindr.
11:34My brother's single.
11:35This is special.
11:36He's your brother.
11:37He's 50.
11:39He's trying to get me killed.
11:40I don't mess with nobody my children's age.
11:43Okay.
11:43Let's give it, like, anybody.
11:45Just this thing.
11:45I just like this dress, right?
11:47I like this dress.
11:48I just think the color is a little too Easter.
11:49Wouldn't this be beautiful in white?
11:51I would love this in white.
11:52With a white blazer?
11:53Yes.
11:53When are you doing your white line for boys?
11:56I want to do something for, and I want to do something for the boys because they look so good in the suits.
11:59Denim's modeling.
12:00I didn't tell you denim's modeling.
12:03Can he walk in my show?
12:04He wore your suits.
12:05Yeah, he wore the suit for the premiere.
12:06But when is the line coming out because denim's modeling?
12:09I'm working on it.
12:10I want to do something for Fashion Week, and I'd love to do something with the boys for Fashion Week.
12:13They got to be in it.
12:14I'm not supposed to really help, so you can't tell them that I said something.
12:17Okay, don't say anything.
12:18Don't say anything.
12:19I've already pitched to denim that my manager, Kenneth, and I could help manage them.
12:23But it's hard sometimes talking to your kids about these things without them thinking I'm meddling.
12:29So I have to be delicate, but also straightforward.
12:32Call all your friends.
12:34The denim's available, but also delicate.
12:36Hey, we have a lot of chores.
12:37I have to make eight new dresses for the show.
12:40Find mommy a husband that's 80 and fabulous.
12:42And put the boys in the show.
12:44And put the boys in the show or the fashion shoot.
12:45It takes a village.
12:46It takes a village.
12:47This is a village.
12:48All right.
12:48What do we got to do?
12:49I'm making mommy's grind work on right now.
13:01Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the one, the only, Carol Bradfield!
13:12We're all my team.
13:21We're all my team.
13:24Give it up!
13:27I'm Tamar.
13:29Hi, my love.
13:30I'm arguing.
13:31I feel healthy and blessed and so, so grateful.
13:38I feel grateful.
13:39I've never done a live podcast before, so, you know, it's a little bit different because
13:43I don't know what the hell he gonna say.
13:46What was going on in your life when you felt like reality TV may be the next phase of my
13:52career?
13:53You know, we grew up on shows like A Different World, 227, right?
13:59Like, black, um, scripted television.
14:02And after a while, we just didn't have any of those things to, like, compare our lives
14:08to, or to identify with anybody on television.
14:11And I just felt like there are no examples of black women on television in all facets
14:18of life.
14:19So, um, I just thought it would be important, you know, to bring that to television.
14:24That was really what it was about.
14:25Woo!
14:25Yes!
14:26So here you are.
14:27I remember watching the show, and I was immediately drawn to you.
14:34Why, though?
14:35But you, I'm gonna tell you what it was.
14:37You came in on the scene funny than a f***ing f***ing dot com.
14:42Hey, y'all, we're the Gaga music.
14:44Eh, eh, eh, eh.
14:45And me, me, me, and me beats to capacity.
14:50Can I ask you to compromise my weakness?
14:55Have several seats.
14:58This is a lot of money.
15:00It's your life.
15:01You're team too much.
15:03Point blank and the period.
15:04You are arguably, immediately the breakout star.
15:09Did that have an effect on your relationship with your family?
15:13You are so, it's messy my day, huh?
15:16No.
15:18Um, I'm not really sure.
15:21I don't know how to answer that question.
15:23Honestly?
15:24Um, she said, honestly.
15:28Um, it definitely started a lot of tension, if I'm honest.
15:33Do you regret doing the show?
15:35Do you feel like if the show never happened, the relationship would be different?
15:40Relationship-wise, yes.
15:42But for the culture, no.
15:44It was necessary.
15:46The Braxton's was good for the culture because it was important for our culture to know that,
15:50you know, we are not outcasts.
15:53We had a lot of lessons on Braxton family values that a lot of families can relate to and understood.
15:59And sometimes when you watch somebody going through the same situations that you're going through,
16:02it helps you get over yours.
16:03Do you mind taking us back to that moment when all of your dreams are coming true?
16:11But did you feel like it was at the cost of your marriage?
16:14Vince and I, I was 26 years old when we started dating.
16:30Yeah.
16:31I didn't know that.
16:32Yes.
16:33During that time, we were basically growing up together.
16:36And sometimes when you grow up with your spouse, you grow apart.
16:41Although I learned a lot from Vince, I also am more proud of the businesswoman and the artist
16:48that I am today.
16:50And so, I mean, my love for him when I was that young was very true, very honest.
16:58And I do feel like it was just for that time.
17:03I'm happy to hear that you guys are in a good place.
17:05Yeah, we're in a great place.
17:05It was a lot to me.
17:06Speaking of good place, the Braxons are back!
17:15I'm going to have to step up the patrol, honey.
17:18All of, you know, you ladies are back.
17:21And obviously, rest in peace, Tracy, who we love and we miss dearly.
17:25Rest in peace, Tracy.
17:27Tracy, so you guys are currently filming.
17:30How has filming been so far?
17:32Well, I'm a friend to the show, so I'm not really quite sure.
17:40It's supposed to be a blind date, guys.
17:43I want him to fulfill all of my needs.
17:47That's right.
17:48How you feeling?
17:50Emotionally drained.
17:51I can't deny it.
17:52You know, it's scary because that is my sister and I love her.
17:55Once you lose a sibling, the worst thought in the world is losing another one.
18:01I got, like, betrayed.
18:03They were talking and then...
18:04You guys are currently filming.
18:06How has filming been so far?
18:08Well, I'm a friend to the show, so I'm not really quite sure.
18:10I have to be mentally responsible.
18:21You know, it was a lot for me.
18:23And a lot of people want to feel like everything that I went through was fake or to get out of a contract.
18:31I think I heard that somewhere ridiculous.
18:32And it wasn't.
18:34I was really going through it.
18:36I really felt captive.
18:37Um, and it was not the best mental situation.
18:42I have been wanting to quit the brackets in season three.
18:45Wow.
18:46Everybody has already made up their minds about me.
18:49And there's only so much bashing one person can take.
18:52Tamar, do not leave.
18:55Yes, Nicu Tamar, we are talking.
18:57This is my last scene.
18:58This is my last scene and season.
19:02The first go-around, I almost lost my life.
19:05And I can't allow that to happen to me.
19:08I have a responsibility for my son.
19:10I have a responsibility to show up for myself.
19:12And, um, my boundaries are very firm.
19:16And they're not to be rude or anything.
19:19It's just that I have to remain healthy.
19:22I just didn't want to go back because I didn't want to put myself in that particular.
19:26Now, since then, if I'm being fair, there are different people over there now.
19:30Yes, it is.
19:31Who look like us.
19:34Yeah.
19:34Okay.
19:36I'm a friend to the show.
19:37Oh!
19:39Y'all, this is not shade.
19:41I changed.
19:42I changed, like, comment.
19:45It's not.
19:48It did not shade.
19:50Is it?
19:51Okay, so being a friend to the show, is that easier for you?
19:54Do you feel more...
19:55Do you feel more at ease knowing that you don't have the pressures of carrying the show again?
20:03Is that...
20:04No, I don't think that...
20:06We're not Tony Bryson.
20:07Y'all changed it for Tony Bryson.
20:08Oh, we leave them.
20:09Don't we love them.
20:10First of all, listen.
20:11We're tuning in for Tracy.
20:12We tuning in for Tracy.
20:14We tuning in for Tracy.
20:14We took all of us.
20:15Trina.
20:15Trina's a hood.
20:16We love to Wanda.
20:18I think people think that I am someone that I'm not.
20:22I love attention, and I want all the attention, and that is the farthest from the truth.
20:28I wanted it to be about all of us, and that is still the goal today.
20:32You have made my dreams come true tonight.
20:36Tonight, I am a lucky, lucky boy to call you my friend, and I love you.
20:40She liked it over her eye, because it's sexy.
21:02Just checking in, and Missy will kind of take lead and just tell you what's been happening.
21:06Oh, okay.
21:12Hey, guys.
21:15Hey, you.
21:16Love it.
21:18Love it.
21:18Love it.
21:18It's good when sister girls get together and make you laugh.
21:27I wanted to talk to my friends, Marla, Angela, and Judge Maybelline, about dating, because
21:36I know that they're dating.
21:38What have you been up to?
21:40Well, I just finished a cooking show with Tamar.
21:44Oh, really?
21:45Okay.
21:46What'd you cook?
21:47I made the seafood blend, smothered pork chops with grits.
21:53Oh, that's a new take-on instead of shrimp and grits.
21:55I've never had some pork chops with grits.
21:57Yeah.
21:58Even to this old Southern belle.
22:02So what's been going on with the other side, with the dating side?
22:05I hear you trying to...
22:06Uh-oh. Are we dating?
22:07I hear you trying to date.
22:07Are we dating again?
22:08It's supposed to be a blind date, guys.
22:11So who's setting this up?
22:12Tamar?
22:13You know my kid, and I have to watch my children, because remember Tawana set me up with that
22:2027-year-old boy?
22:22Just trust me.
22:23You will have fun.
22:24What is it?
22:25About 70?
22:2680?
22:27No.
22:28How old are you?
22:3027.
22:31No.
22:33All righty, then.
22:35How we doing?
22:36How are you?
22:36Hi.
22:37You care for a margarita or some Prosecco?
22:39I think I want the orange ginger stir-fry.
22:41Okay.
22:42Of course.
22:42I don't have any reservations at all about meeting new people.
22:46You just don't want to just sit in one little old corner and say, well, my life is over.
22:52I guess I'll just, you know, sit here.
22:56You don't do that.
22:57No.
22:57So give us your criteria.
22:58He got to have at least some sense.
23:00He at least has to be tall.
23:02He have to have some sense.
23:04And guys, he have to have a bag.
23:07A bag.
23:08And not a colostomy bag.
23:10Not a colostomy bag.
23:11That green bag.
23:13You got to have some money.
23:14You got to be tall.
23:17That looks good, too.
23:18That looks great.
23:19As we age, they tend not to be as interested in the sexuality and sensuality as much.
23:30Now, is that an important factor in your life?
23:32Good question.
23:33Good question.
23:34If that desire hit me, I want him to fulfill all of my needs.
23:40That's right.
23:41She said, if that desire hit me.
23:44Who does she think she's talking to?
23:45I don't know.
23:46And especially at 48 and holding.
23:51Oh, yeah.
23:51I changed from 39 and holding to 48 and holding.
23:55You know she's 30.
23:56You're 30.
23:57You still 30 at all?
23:58She's staying on 30.
24:00As spiritual beings, we don't have no age.
24:02Oh.
24:03So I choose to vibrate on 30.
24:07She said vibrate.
24:09She said vibrate.
24:10Y'all so bad.
24:12I ain't getting into that.
24:14You got to change the word vibrate.
24:16Because they bad.
24:17I ain't getting into that.
24:18They bad.
24:19You know that's made of leave.
24:22Do you care about sex?
24:27Been there, done that.
24:28Actually, it's something you can do for yourself.
24:30Oh, no, she didn't say that.
24:32Just checking.
24:33No, she didn't.
24:34I love her.
24:35It sounds like you ready.
24:37Like, ready, ready.
24:38Well, I'm ready, Freddie.
24:40She ready for Freddie.
24:43Or Teddy.
24:44Or Eddie.
24:49You always be my baby boy.
24:52Always going to be Tony Braxton's son, but Denna Braxton,
24:55I want that to mean something as well.
24:56You know what I mean?
24:57I don't know the name of anything.
25:22It was cute.
25:23From my last shoot, she just came by
25:24and, like, did her own thing.
25:26Put everything on pause.
25:29Mom's always know best.
25:31Right.
25:46Hey, Danny.
25:47Hello.
25:47How's it going?
25:50Good.
25:52That's perfect.
25:53I'm going to come in on your face.
25:55Okay.
25:56I've been in this business for some time now,
25:58so I'm going to stop by Denna's photo shoot
26:00and try not to embarrass him too much.
26:04Hi, I'm Denna's mom.
26:06Hi.
26:06Nice to meet you.
26:07You too.
26:07Okay.
26:07Even though I'm his mom,
26:09I'm actually thinking of this as a business meeting, you know?
26:13I'm hoping he'll be open to me managing him,
26:16and I want to see how serious he is about modeling.
26:19This test shoot could just be the beginning.
26:22I just want to make sure he has the best start
26:24to his career as possible.
26:29Chin up.
26:32Got it.
26:33All right, let's check those.
26:35Can I look at them?
26:35Yes.
26:37Okay, let's see.
26:38Oh, that's nice.
26:39I like that.
26:40Well, the green is lovely.
26:41You just go that way.
26:42I'm going to be honest.
26:43I'm concerned because the fashion
26:44and the entertainment world
26:45can be very cutthroat and competitive,
26:47but I got to be careful, though,
26:49or I'll never get invited to this set again.
26:52She's probably going to post it
26:53on her little Instagram with a cringy caption.
26:57What's a cringy caption?
26:58She has some cringy captions.
27:00What does cringy caption mean?
27:01I don't know.
27:01She'll be calling me, like, Pookie Bear or something.
27:03I'm not feeling like that.
27:04Seriously, Mom.
27:05Seriously, Mom.
27:06It's like it's so painful for them.
27:08Why do boys do that?
27:11Let's do a mom pose.
27:12Oh, no.
27:13Let me do a mom pose.
27:14This is a mom pose, right?
27:16I've learned a thing or two about how, you know,
27:17to strike a pose or pick the perfect shot.
27:21Most people enjoy having their picture taken with me.
27:23I think we got it.
27:25We got it?
27:26Let's do that.
27:27You can post that one.
27:28I'll let you post that one.
27:28I can post that.
27:29That's the one.
27:30Thank you, sir.
27:30That's the one.
27:31Hi, guys.
27:33I remember the good old days when I could drop him off at school and hug a kiss on him.
27:36And it all changed when he turned.
27:38Bye.
27:41This is nice.
27:42It's good.
27:42I'm finally taking this modeling thing seriously.
27:45Yeah?
27:45I feel like it's going to go well.
27:47So you want to do modeling?
27:50It's kind of like, with me, I'm always grateful for, you know, my upbringing and you and dad
27:57and the whole family for always supporting me.
28:00But, like, just creating my own name.
28:03Always going to be Tony Braxton's son.
28:05But Denna Braxton, I want that to mean something as well.
28:07You know what I mean?
28:10I get it.
28:11Thank you again, Mom.
28:12Love you.
28:13I love you too.
28:13I'm your mom, so I'm not supposed to say this out loud, but you'll always be my baby
28:18boy.
28:18My oldest baby boy.
28:19Oldest.
28:20Not baby.
28:20Just oldest.
28:21Oh.
28:22I can't believe how mature and independent Denna is right now.
28:26I'm so proud.
28:27Obviously, he doesn't want my management help.
28:30He wants to prove he can be his little man.
28:32What mother could be mad at that?
28:34You just kiss him and let him live their lives.
28:37You're making moves.
28:39Mm-hmm.
28:40Can we go get something to eat?
28:41Yeah.
28:41What you want to eat?
28:42Mr. Charles.
28:43Right.
28:47I'm Taz.
28:48I'm a healer.
28:49I do crossing over where I get to connect with people that have passed on.
28:53Is there anything you'd like to say to her?
28:55Yeah.
28:55Um, I have a lot of regret.
28:58Ugh.
29:01I feel like this year has been the hardest year.
29:04You have to give yourself permission to do what's best for you.
29:08They were FaceTiming, and then the phone blacked out.
29:14I don't know if I should trust my daughters trying to find me a date.
29:26But Tony found somebody, and I did not have to look very hard to figure out who my date was.
29:36This has to be him.
29:38Let me check it out.
29:40Well, well, good afternoon.
29:45Good afternoon.
29:45How are you doing?
29:46Oh, I'm fine.
29:47How are you?
29:48I go to Bluebird, so we hug.
29:49We don't want to shake ladies' hands.
29:50Oh, okay.
29:51Sounds good to me.
29:54He was a nice height.
29:55I like him taller.
29:56But at our age, we shrink.
29:59Everything on was purple.
30:01But if that's what he wanted to do, all righty, then.
30:05What is your name?
30:07Shelly.
30:07Shelly Christian.
30:08Oh, okay.
30:09Yeah.
30:09Okay.
30:10Evelyn Braxton.
30:11You know, I didn't know that.
30:13You didn't know that?
30:13No, I didn't.
30:16You're right.
30:17I'm going to tell you right now.
30:18I like to have fun.
30:19I'm a good jocester.
30:20That's okay.
30:20That's okay.
30:21Me too.
30:22I haven't found anything yet.
30:25I'm a typical.
30:25I just eat regular food and give me a hamburger, lobster, all these Italian dishes right there.
30:35I don't even forget it.
30:36Wow.
30:37As men get older, they're not going to change.
30:41They're just who they are, baby girls and baby boys.
30:45They're not going to really change.
30:47Give me a little insight about you and I can get back to you again.
30:50Well, got married when I was two.
30:53I had my oldest child when I was three.
30:57I got a divorce when I was 10.
31:02I had six kids and the rest is history.
31:05I'm not going to complain at all.
31:07Yeah, no, that's right.
31:10I would think there'd be a million men knocking on your door trying to get to take you out.
31:14I got to be chosen.
31:15Maybe the men that knocked on my door, maybe I just didn't answer.
31:20I mean, uh, don't you got black food food?
31:25Black food food?
31:26Yeah.
31:27The chicken sandwich.
31:29Just give me a chicken sandwich.
31:31And for you?
31:31I think I'll have the same thing.
31:34But anyway.
31:36Well, give me some more about you.
31:37There's only three people in my house.
31:39Me, myself, and I.
31:40I've been horseback riding.
31:43I eat cabbage and I eat spinach, you know.
31:45I was in Tyler Perry's first two of us.
31:48I've been in quite a few fashion shows.
31:50Mm-hmm.
31:51My kids say they're going to stop me from driving.
31:53I'm not a wallflower, you know what I mean.
31:55I can go with the flow.
31:56I told you I'd like to have fun.
31:58Yeah, I see.
31:58It's my understanding that your daughter said you.
32:03My daughter, uh.
32:04And I said, now, it may or may not be true.
32:06You ain't getting awesome big fries.
32:09Good God.
32:10You're welcome.
32:11What kind of fries are these?
32:12Yucca fritas.
32:14Okay.
32:15All right.
32:15Enjoy.
32:18Did she say yucca rica?
32:21Yucca rica.
32:22I don't know that.
32:23All I heard was a yucca.
32:25Don't talk these lines.
32:26Don't talk these lines.
32:27Will you see him again?
32:30Um.
32:33I think that for someone else, he would be great.
32:37For me, no.
32:40I'm going to have her to wrap this for me.
32:43We both will.
32:44Yeah.
32:45Keep your fries, don't you?
32:49It was a nice gathering, but I didn't see any need for exchanging numbers.
32:56So I guess he's still family.
32:58I don't know.
32:58Nobody said nothing to them.
33:02I'm waiting on somebody to give us a cue as to whether we can get up or whether we finish.
33:06Or, you know.
33:07Yeah.
33:08But the good thing about the family industry, we can always edit it out.
33:10Okay.
33:11Thank you so much.
33:14I appreciate you.
33:15I'm out.
33:16I feel like this year has been the hardest year.
33:34Mm-hmm.
33:35My wife, she was just like, oh, yeah, I want a divorce.
33:38I don't know where it came from.
33:39So the divorce was unexpected?
33:41Got blindsided, actually.
33:43I tell her every day, I'm going to fight for my family.
33:44She's like, I didn't fight for it.
33:46Let's play with my emotions.
33:49Because I want my family back.
33:50You have to give yourself permission to do what's best for you.
34:14Okay.
34:15Hey, where is he?
34:16He's inside.
34:17Look, so they came out of it, but he definitely had a seizure, and he's a little all over the place.
34:24Of course.
34:24We said the police would go get his medicine, but you should go check on him.
34:28I am.
34:28He's supposed to catch this fight tonight.
34:30I don't know.
34:31If he's going to be able to do that?
34:32I don't know, really.
34:33You know, I'm hoping that if he gets his medicine, he's okay.
34:36He's inside.
34:37All right.
34:37Yeah, Olivia called me.
34:39Okay.
34:39They were FaceTiming.
34:40When it happened?
34:41Yeah.
34:41Really?
34:42So they were talking, and then he started slurring, and she was like, what's going on?
34:47And he said, he feels weird.
34:48Yeah.
34:49And then she said the phone blacked out.
34:51So she texted me, and she said, Kev may be having a seizure.
34:56Wow.
34:56He isn't answering.
34:57Yeah.
34:57He got a lot going on.
34:59Yeah, it's just stress.
35:00It's stress-induced.
35:01Yeah.
35:02Little Kevin started getting seizures after Tracy passed.
35:05I am thankful that production was there with him, because he wasn't alone, and they were
35:12able to make sure that he was safe.
35:16Love you.
35:17Auntie.
35:22Hey.
35:23You okay?
35:24I'm better.
35:25Okay.
35:26I'm better.
35:27That's going to take my medicine more.
35:28Yes, you do have to take your medicine more.
35:31Let's try to call my mom.
35:32Yeah.
35:33It's all right.
35:36Is it okay if I tell her?
35:38Yeah.
35:38Okay.
35:39I was going to tell you, please.
35:40Hey, mama.
35:42Hey.
35:42Well, I got you on speaker.
35:44I'm with Scratchy.
35:47Okay.
35:48He had a seizure.
35:50Oh, my mercy.
35:52Hey, baby.
35:53Hey, mama.
35:54Are you smiling right here?
35:55Yeah, I think I forgot my arm.
35:58Can we get some ice?
35:59Say it again, mama?
36:01Hey, how you feeling now?
36:03I'm okay.
36:04I think I was just dressed.
36:06We're going to have to lighten your load.
36:08Right.
36:09It's a lot.
36:10It is.
36:10It was a lot.
36:11So we have to limit what you're doing.
36:15They want him to do it twice a day.
36:18It's once.
36:19It's a thousand milligrams.
36:20Don't do it twice.
36:21Do it twice a day?
36:22No, ma'am.
36:22The production got his medicine for him.
36:24I'm just so nervous for him.
36:26He's a little jittery, you know?
36:29I know in between his grief for his mom and his divorce,
36:34there is so much that he has suppressed,
36:38and this is how it's coming out.
36:40You have court?
36:41I have court.
36:42And when is it?
36:42Tomorrow?
36:43Tomorrow.
36:43Is that in Maryland?
36:45That's in Maryland.
36:46Yes, ma'am.
36:47Well, Liv did mention.
36:48She said she will reschedule it.
36:50Yeah.
36:50Yeah.
36:51Mommy, I'm going to call his wife now to see if she can postpone the court.
36:57Yeah.
36:58Okay, bye.
36:58Bye.
37:02That would be the main thing to say if she's open tonight,
37:04you know, going or rescheduling.
37:06Let me ask her.
37:07I've spoken with Kevin's ex, Olivia.
37:10They recommended him not to fly tonight.
37:12And I'm just grateful that even with everything that's going on,
37:16she's being understanding and had the care to call me when he was in trouble.
37:22Yeah, you need to relax.
37:23Yeah, the question is being by myself, you know, too.
37:29You get, you're afraid to be by yourself in the hotel?
37:31No, I just, you know, I just, I just check on me.
37:33I just check on me while I'm in the head.
37:35It's cold.
37:36Of course I am.
37:37Are you kidding me?
37:38You got a hundred people that's going, you ain't going to get no sleep
37:40because everybody's going to be calling you every five minutes.
37:55Hey, hey, hey.
37:56Hey, handsome guy.
37:59How are you?
38:00Okay.
38:01All righty then.
38:03Come on in the room.
38:04Come on.
38:05We sit.
38:07My boy's handsome face.
38:10How you coming along, baby?
38:11What's up?
38:12You seem so sullen.
38:13What's going on?
38:15Little Kevin sent me a text to say that there were some developments on his divorce.
38:20Divorce is hard and no one wins.
38:23And I know that from experience.
38:25Huh, because I've been through too.
38:27But mommy and I are trying to stay calm because little Kevin's health is fragile as it is.
38:32And we're here to build him up.
38:33And that's what he needs right now.
38:36Yesterday was kind of scary.
38:38So that was a lot.
38:41That was the guy with the phone.
38:42She just completed her divorce.
38:47And took full custody of baby Kevin.
38:52You can appeal that.
38:54Yeah.
38:55You really can.
38:56What about my house?
38:57She took that too.
39:00I'm sorry.
39:01Me too.
39:03I'm really sorry.
39:04It's kind of a gut punch right now.
39:06Yes, it is.
39:07She told me she was going to be scheduled it.
39:11And she didn't do it.
39:12So I kind of feel like I got, like, betrayed more than she already did.
39:17You know what?
39:18People say all's fair in love and war.
39:20I can't speak for Olivia and what she chose to do and what she didn't choose to do.
39:24Sometimes when you're going through that, you can only see what's happening to you.
39:29You know?
39:30No one wins.
39:32No one wins in a divorce.
39:34Yeah, it's been about 24 hours.
39:37Yes, it has.
39:39That's a lot, buddy.
39:40Yeah, it's a lot.
39:41Yeah.
39:42That's a lot.
39:43For one person to go through in such a short span of time there.
39:47You're going to get through this.
39:49Mm-hmm.
39:49Mm-hmm.
39:50You're going to have to somehow get with your lawyer.
39:54You make sure you're in that boy's life.
39:57He needs you as a father.
40:02You'll be all right.
40:04I'm going to make sure I am.
40:05Yes, you are.
40:06Why?
40:07Because you're your mother's son.
40:10Mm-hmm.
40:11There ain't no doubt about that.
40:13She didn't let things get her down.
40:15You push her down on one end, she bounced up on the other.
40:19And that's who you are.
40:23You'll be all right.
40:24Well, we love you very much.
40:28Very much.
40:28And the door is always open.
40:31100% of the time.
40:33What worries me about little Kevin right now is that he's in the valley, in the shadow of death.
40:45All right, we'll meet you downstairs.
40:47Thank you, baby.
40:48Thank you, baby.
40:49He cannot really find happiness right now until he gets through the valley.
40:57And I believe it's going to take a while.
