00:30The NFL London Games presented by NetApp.
00:34What a tremendous atmosphere, the 40th NFL regular season game in London.
00:39And as we were in the car coming from the hotel,
00:43got it closer and closer to the stadium,
00:45we were trying to count how many different team jerseys we passed by.
00:49What was interesting, it was old and new.
00:52Third down and one as we begin the fourth quarter.
00:56Four down.
00:59Gabriel trying to sway the officials, but not enough.
01:05And the Browns sent out the punting unit.
01:07Four down the mound.
01:15And the Westafield.
01:17Four down.
01:21Borges setting up in his end zone.
01:25Oh, Mario!
01:26Four down!
01:27Two down!
01:29Two down!
01:29Four down!
01:30Two down!
01:31Six!
01:31Прис is deep for the Vikings.
01:38Прис takes it up to 46.
01:41He's in Cleveland territory.
01:44To the Browns, 42-yard line.
01:49Well, the Browns are planning a new Dome Stadium in Brook Park, Ohio, 12 miles from their current stadium.
01:56Set to open for the 2029 season.
02:01With the closest seats to the field in the NFL, a new and modernized dog pound and a translucent roof.
02:11Natural light throughout the stadium.
02:14Just looking at the rendering, that is going to be beautiful.
02:19I'm really liking that it seems like each team is trying to outdo the other when it comes to these new stadiums.
02:26And so far, I mean, it's been nothing short of magnificent seeing some of these new stadiums and how they look in open air.
02:33It's gorgeous.
02:34And the Browns have recovered.
02:48Remember, it was Mason earlier who had the ball punched out.
02:52He was injured late in the third quarter.
02:54So, Scott back in.
02:57Xavier Scott going back to the speed.
03:00He didn't get to the line of scrimmage.
03:02And two defensive linemen.
03:04And now a late flag.
03:08That was most definitely a fumble.
03:11Isaiah McGuire getting in there.
03:13Looked like Shelby Harris got in there as well.
03:16After the play was over, personal foul unnecessary roughness in the 93 of Cleveland.
03:23It'll be a 15-yard penalty.
03:25First down and 10.
03:26Timeout.
03:28So, that was at the end of the play.
03:29Shelby Harris flagged for the personal foul.
03:33But the Cleveland Browns got the ball back following the takeaway by their defense.
03:40Just watch how quickly the defensive front gets in the backfield.
03:43Shelby Harris, Isaiah McGuire meeting at the running back.
03:48Xavier Scott had no chance.
03:50And after that, you see that everyone lands on Shelby Harris' left leg.
03:57And you can tell they're all fighting for the football.
03:59There was no way for anybody to get up and release him of that pain.
04:02He goes into the tent.
04:03Hopefully, he'll be okay.
04:05Brown start from the 30.
04:07Fake to Judskins.
04:08And then Gabriel looking to set up the screen.
04:11It'll be second and 10.
04:13Coming into this game, and this week five in the NFL,
04:23Browns ran only two offensive plays with the lead.
04:28But they have a three-point advantage here in the fourth quarter,
04:33and they got the football back following the second Vikings' turnover.
04:40This has looked a lot cleaner than their previous games.
04:44Browns ran a couple of teammates, finally bring him down after a gain of six.
04:58Again, I'm almost beating a dead horse of watching Judkins patiently setting up his blocks,
05:07going up the gut of this defense.
05:08That's why I said it's a lot cleaner game.
05:12There's fortunately, we see Shelby Harris' back out, able to talk to the coaches about getting the takeaway.
05:18That was a nice job by that defense setting up the offense.
05:22And now you have a third in man to go, going back to going up the gut of this defense.
05:25This is making life very easy for Dylan Gabriel.
05:29Ford replacing Judkins, who has a season-high 95 yards on the ground.
05:34Gabriel on third down, under pressure, stays on his feet.
05:37And now Ivan Pace takes him down, back at the 33.
05:45Yeah, it's a nice job.
05:46Jonathan Gennard, they're going to run what's called an E.T. stunt, end and tackle stunt.
05:51Him and Jalen Redman go on the same side, and then Jonathan Gennard gets in there, almost gets his sack.
05:56You see the frustration that he didn't get it.
05:58Dylan Gabriel almost escapes from there, trying to get a first down,
06:01but it's a nice job responding by the Vikings' defense.
06:04That's a win, right?
06:06You had a turnover, ball's in the middle of the field, poor situation.
06:10Make the best out of the force of punt, nice job defense.
06:17Held away from Price.
06:19Put out of bounds.
06:22The Vikings' offense will head on to the field, start from their 25-yard line,
06:29trailing the Browns by three.
06:36It's time for today's flavorful play, presented by Qdova.
06:40Talk about flavor.
06:41How about David Njoku's day, starting with his arrival at the stadium?
06:47Yeah, a little flavor, a little style, a little sass, ends it with the touchdown.
06:53You tell me he's not hyped.
06:55Adds a little flavor to the celebration, Kenny.
06:58That looked good.
06:59That was the go-ahead score late in the third quarter.
07:02There we go.
07:04Try to keep cool.
07:08Browns' defense back on the field.
07:10Vikings will start from their 25, five receptions, and the touchdown for Njoku.
07:18Jordan Nason has returned, shaken up late in the third quarter.
07:23Replaced by Scott, who turned it over.
07:26The Vikings' last possession on the toss.
07:29And Nason had a nice tackle made by Ronnie Hickman.
07:33No gain on the play.
07:34That is a very nice open field tackle.
07:38This is just fundamentals.
07:40One-on-one.
07:41Ronnie Hickman filling the lane.
07:44Jordan Nason trying to make a cut.
07:46That's a very nice tackle by Ronnie Hickman.
07:54Got both teams checking.
07:57Turn around, set!
07:59Second down to 10.
08:01Wrench throws.
08:02It's out.
08:04It's out.
08:04It's out it for Nason.
08:08Wow.
08:09Grant Delpit with a diving attempt to try and pick it off.
08:13Grant Delpit.
08:14He read that all the way.
08:17Fortunately for Wentz, he has such a strong arm.
08:20If not, Grant Delpit could have had an interception.
08:23That is a tremendous play.
08:25You had your first pick as a Saint in London.
08:27I did.
08:282008.
08:30Kicked off Phillip Rivers.
08:31Man, they were loaded.
08:33Antonio Gates.
08:34LaDainian Thomason.
08:35We end up winning the game.
08:37That was at Wimbledon Stadium.
08:39That was a lot of fun.
08:40Search and Chargers.
08:41Third down to 10.
08:42Winston Jefferson makes the catch in Browns territory.
08:57The Vikings first down gate of 39.
08:59This is just a streak down the middle of the field.
09:02This is a scene.
09:02He goes inside.
09:04Just keeps going.
09:05Right behind Grant Delpit.
09:07Carson Wentz fits it right in time.
09:10Over the zone.
09:12And that's one thing Carson Wentz talked about when he was with the 49ers.
09:16When he was with the Chiefs on the scout team.
09:18He said, I learned how to throw over zones.
09:20That time throwing it right over the zone for Jefferson.
09:23And you're right, when we talked to Wentz, you know, he sat behind Matthew Stafford and Patrick
09:35Mahomes the last few years.
09:37Jefferson averaging just under 96 yards per game.
09:40Best all time.
09:41And Wentz told us, I, quote, weirdly enjoyed being on the scout team going up against the number ones on the defensive side.
09:52Right.
09:52He said that he learned to make throws he normally wouldn't have made had he hadn't been started.
09:58Right.
09:59Second down at five.
10:01Wentz to the outside.
10:03Oliver.
10:04Unable to bring it in.
10:06And he was saying on scout team, I was really trying to put pressure on the defense by making these tights.
10:11Those tight windows, the defense knows what the routes are, right?
10:15And scout team, obviously, they know what the offense is going to come out in.
10:18But he was able to still really perfect his craft.
10:21And he admitted, right?
10:22He said, some of the throws I'm making now, I wouldn't have attempted maybe four or five years ago.
10:28Right.
10:28But that being one of the throws, that was a beautiful ball.
10:37Throw down at five.
10:41Wentz goes in and is taken down.
10:49Raleigh Collins bringing down Carson Wentz.
10:54The Vikings will send out the field goal unit looking to tie this game.
10:57Yeah, you're just looking at too much pressure.
11:00They're not doing anything crazy.
11:02It's a four-man rush.
11:03They get in there.
11:03They collapse the pocket.
11:05Coverage is good.
11:06And it goes back to as soon as Wentz.
11:09Pats that football trying to wait for another round to open up.
11:12It is too late.
11:13That Browns front four is going to get there and they get another sack.
11:16So here's Will Riker, 51-yard attempt.
11:21From the right hash.
11:24Kick is no good.
11:25Right to the right.
11:29In the perfect all season.
11:31It remains a three-point Cleveland Browns lead.
11:39The NFL and the American Cancer Society created Crucial Catch because early cancer detection can save lives.
11:46The five-year survival rate for many cancers is over 90% when detected early.
11:51It takes all of us to intercept cancer.
11:54Don't wait.
11:55Visit NFL.com slash Crucial Catch to find your local cancer screening resources and learn how to reduce your cancer risk.
12:05Under 10 minutes remaining.
12:08Take a look here.
12:08Here in London.
12:09As the Browns start from their 41-yard line.
12:13Cut.
12:16Lated the Vikings by three.
12:18Here's Judd Kitts.
12:22Looks to squirt through and will lose a yard on first down.
12:27Flag throw.
12:28It's going to be holding on KT Leviton.
12:32Holding.
12:33Offense number 72.
12:34That's a 10-yard penalty.
12:36That's his third penalty today.
12:39Yeah, no different than last week.
12:41He struggles with the stunting inside.
12:44Jonathan Grenard, right before the snap, goes inside, stunts inside.
12:48And then he can do nothing but hold at that point.
12:52Or else it would have been a tackle for loss.
13:0010th Cleveland penalty.
13:03Coming into this week, Vikings, the most penalized team in the NFL.
13:07They've been flagged six times.
13:11Who's down at 20.
13:13Gabriel sets.
13:14It's Joku off to the middle.
13:17And he will pick up 11 out to the 42-yard line.
13:21And Joku's having a good game as we expect.
13:24And there goes Harold Fannin.
13:25I was about to say, we haven't called Harold Fannin's name.
13:28He's a phenomenal rookie tight end for the Browns as well.
13:31I really like that one-two combination that they have.
13:34Najoku, we see he's Mr. Everything for them.
13:37And then Fannin is going to grow into that role.
13:39And how good is that to have two tight ends.
13:42Both can block.
13:43Both good at the point of attack.
13:44Both good in pass routes.
13:46But you really want that.
13:47And Kevin Sabansky, he knows how to utilize and maximize both of their production.
13:51They both have touchdowns today.
13:53Hey, where's it?
13:54Here's Judkins.
13:58Looks up with Browns' first down to the Vikings, 44.
14:03So, Quinshawn Judkins is over 100 yards for the day.
14:08Browns coming into this game.
14:09Most snaps played by rookies in the league over the first four weeks.
14:14We've talked a lot about Schlesinger.
14:17Over there, middle linebacker.
14:19Now definitely over 30 tackles.
14:21That was going into this game, and Quinshawn Judkins, he leads all rookies this year.
14:2679 rush yards per game.
14:27And, I mean, he's just getting better and better.
14:30And I know I've mentioned it.
14:31It's hard to explain how hard it is to just step in with no camp and practice
14:35and be as productive as he is.
14:38First to Judkins.
14:40And this time, Najoku unable to come up with it.
14:44Second and 10.
14:46Upcoming.
14:47Next Sunday, NFL Network.
14:50The international games in London continue.
14:53Broncos take on the Jets.
14:55That's next Sunday at 9.30 Eastern.
14:58And then the Rams and Jaguars from Wembley.
15:01Week 7.
15:02And then in November, games in both Berlin and Madrid.
15:07Seven international games this season.
15:09Second and 10.
15:16Here's Judkins up the middle.
15:20Eight of three.
15:22He's up to 112 yards on the ground.
15:24Yeah.
15:24Speaking of Judkins and the way that he's able to go inside and then quickly bounce outside.
15:29I just really like the first that he had.
15:31You see that ability to first and make that one guy miss as he goes out there against 10, 15, 20 yards.
15:38And now utilizing him in the passing game as well.
15:41That is what makes him so dangerous.
15:43He's going to take a little break now.
15:44I mean, he's been working his butt off.
15:46And you bring him in there knowing he's the number one option in the run game still being productive.
15:51I mean, that's impressive.
15:52We're down at seven for Gabriel and the Browns.
15:58This pass sails out of bounds in the vicinity of Isaiah Pond.
16:05I didn't really like that sequence from Kevin Stefanski.
16:08You have so much success running the football.
16:11And that's, frankly, what every offensive coordinator wants.
16:14Every head coach they dream of, control the clock, run the football, right?
16:18And he was able to do that.
16:20And he has been doing it with so much success.
16:22But came out passing first, right?
16:24A little bootleg action, a little play action pass.
16:27I'd rather see him just stick with it, right?
16:29Until the Vikings stop them running up the gut.
16:32Keep doing it.
16:33It's been working so far.
16:34You have the three-point lead because of it.
16:42Oh, wow.
16:43That is kicked out of the end zone.
16:45Great job getting downfield on special teams.
16:54Yes.
16:54Very close.
16:56Donovan and Millen.
16:57Tap it back.
16:58But it looks like they're going to call it a touchback because Rex Sunara actually, when he touched the football, his foot went inside the goal line.
17:10Right.
17:10Let's watch.
17:11Yeah.
17:11So he has it, but now no part of his body can touch.
17:19There it is.
17:20It touched right there.
17:21Red foot touched the goal line.
17:22It's a nice effort, though.
17:33So the ball spotted at the 20.
17:37With just under seven minutes remaining.
17:40The Browns leading the Vikings by three in the first ever matchup of two NFL head coaches named Kevin.
17:47And they both used to work for the other team.
17:52O'Connell with the Browns back in 2015.
17:55And Stefanski spent 14 years with the Vikings organization.
18:00And he was very complimentary of the Vikings organization.
18:05They hired him at the age of 23.
18:07It's very complimentary of the Wilf family.
18:09Yes.
18:09There's the foot of Sonahara, as you mentioned.
18:20Yep.
18:21Which is why the Vikings will start from the 20 and not the 1.
18:28Set!
18:30Wentz hands it off on first down.
18:32It's basic.
18:33Out to the 24.
18:36Gate of 4.
18:37And here's the Browns defense today.
18:40They've done a really nice job getting in there, creating the takeaways.
18:44Kevin Stefanski, very aggressive and demanding of this defense, saying he wants the ball back.
18:50They have given it to him twice.
18:52They put points on the board because of it.
18:53They're leading the game.
18:55Jim Schwartz calling a very nice game so far.
18:58Very much done.
19:00Suck it down at six.
19:02Wentz complete T.J. Hockinson.
19:04And that's what the Vikings offense needs to get back to, a lot of out-breaking routes.
19:12Justin Jefferson was torching them with all these outs, the speed outs, these out comebacks.
19:18And there was really, as I mentioned before, it's hard to defend that, right?
19:21You just have to have really, really good corners who are willing to take a chance and jump some of those routes.
19:26That's where the Vikings are going to have to make a living, but they have to hold up up front.
19:31Every time Carson Wentz has padded that football, it's going to sack for the Browns' front four.
19:36Hawkins engaged seven.
19:39He's set of down from the 31.
19:42Wentz to the back side.
19:44It's Addison.
19:45Takes the catch.
19:47That's his second today for a game of five.
19:49Yeah, that's where they've been having all the success today.
19:53Take a look at the catch.
19:55It's a nice.
19:57Yes, sir.
19:58Nice catch by Jordan Addison.
20:00All hands.
20:02You have two very capable receivers.
20:04Obviously, Justin Jefferson, one of the best in the league.
20:07Jordan Addison.
20:08He's also very quick, very good body control.
20:12He knows how to beat press man now.
20:14So, you can kind of go and make a living throwing to the outside if you want to live off that.
20:19From the 36 on second and five.
20:22It's a first down and more for Jordan Mason.
20:25Finally tackled by Hickman at the Browns' 45-yard line.
20:31And the flag was thrown, so looks like this one's coming back.
20:41That was a good read by Jordan Mason.
20:44Holding.
20:45Offense number 60.
20:47That's a 10-yard penalty.
20:49Sucking down.
20:50That's on the left guard, Huber.
20:52Yeah, Joe Huber making his first start undrafted.
20:57Kevin O'Connell raved about him how, again, another guy they thought would be just a camp body
21:01immediately knew that he had a chance to make the team from his physicality in minicamp and training camp.
21:07And now he's making his first start today and right in your screen going against Carson Schwestinger, their rookie, holding on to him.
21:16And that's the reason Jordan Mason was able to have that big game.
21:19All right, now they're taking them back.
21:29Here we go.
21:30Ball will be spotted at the 28-yard line.
21:41Take out one-score games.
21:42Kevin O'Connell, 27-10.
21:44One-score game, second-best behind the Eagles.
21:48Defending Super Bowl champion Eagles, I should say.
21:50And you can see why everyone really likes Kevin O'Connell, the game management, the way that he's able to lead his team.
21:56He's had quarterback after quarterback, O-line shuffle after O-line shuffle.
22:00Still figures out a way to get them close into a game and figure out how to win at the end.
22:04Nine and one in one-score games last year.
22:06O'Connell named NHL NFL Coach of the Year.
22:09It was Stefanski the year before.
22:10As Hawkinson makes the catch, but it did not fool this Browns defense.
22:18Devin Bush, along with Alex Wright.
22:21TJ Hawkinson is a good tight end.
22:23Really good tight end.
22:24He's not fast enough to run those plays.
22:27It's a slow-developing play.
22:28You're trying to run a screen against the fastest or one of the fastest defenses in the NFL.
22:33You can't run that with them.
22:34You have to run it with somebody else.
22:36Or you might as well just push the ball down the field.
22:40Three-down at 11.
22:44Penalty and then negative play.
22:48Pushing the Vikings in the wrong direction.
22:50There it is.
22:51And now, Wentz goes down.
22:55Malik Collins.
22:57Out of flag is thrown.
22:59Yeah, Malik Collins is going against that undrafted rookie.
23:02Joe Huber puts a spin move on him.
23:04Malik Collins is too quick for him.
23:07Lost weight this offseason.
23:08Came in, Jim Schwartz said, we want you lighter, we want you quicker.
23:12He did exactly that.
23:14And he's been a menace all day today.
23:16He's frankly been a menace all season, right?
23:17He's been one of the guys where Garrett gets all the credit.
23:20But he's been just as good, just as disruptive.
23:22They pick up the flag right with a 77-yard punt earlier.
23:28His career-long.
23:30This one will be scooped up at the 29-yard line and taken out across the 40 by Larvideen.
23:38With under three and a half on the clock, kick off your weekends with NFL Network and the crew on Good Morning Football.
23:46Football's favorite morning show breaks down every trending storyline of the NFL.
23:51Good morning, football.
23:52Weekdays at 8 only on NFL Network.
23:59Well, it's 6.21 in the morning in Hawaii where Dylan Gabriel's parents are watching.
24:08I'm sure they do not care about the time.
24:10They've been watching intently as Dylan Gabriel's been leading this offense, leading the team.
24:15They're up by three.
24:16On first down, here's Junkins.
24:2312.20 in the afternoon on the east coast of the United States.
24:28Just after 9 in the Pacific time zone.
24:31There is a timeout will be taken here by the Vikings.
24:36As they should.
24:37This is something that every team practices.
24:39It's four-minute offense where you want, if offensively you want to try to get a first down,
24:44you want them to use up all the clock if you can.
24:48And then if you get another first down, you take a knee, you win the game.
24:51Defensively, you obviously want to stop the run.
24:53You know Kevin O'Connor's going to use the timeout, save some time on the clock.
24:57But this is going to be a big challenge for that defense because it's been the Browns' run game
25:01that's been really giving them issues today.
25:04Thanks to all the viewers who got up pretty early, especially in Hawaii.
25:08My daughter Amanda on her birthday on the east coast.
25:11Check this out.
25:12How old is Amanda?
25:1326.
25:13Oh, happy 26th birthday, Amanda.
25:17Hopefully we see you soon.
25:19We haven't seen her all season.
25:21You will.
25:22Don't worry.
25:22There's Judkins on second down.
25:25And another timeout.
25:29Taken by the Vikings.
25:31With 319 remaining.
25:35In the 40th regular season game played in Luggan.
25:40At least one for every team.
25:42Browns were here once.
25:44Lost to the Vikings back in 2017.
25:47They have a three-point lead today.
25:49The Vikings lost in Dublin, Ireland last week, but they are perfect in London.
25:56Four for four prior to today.
25:59Now, Browns are threatening that perfect record.
26:02Up three.
26:033.20 to go.
26:06Vikings have one timeout left.
26:09I'm the Browns' offense.
26:10I still run the ball, whether I get the first down or not.
26:13See if the Vikings are willing to use that last timeout or save it.
26:17Well, the Browns come out with an empty backfield, so they will throw on third down at 11.
26:24And it's incomplete in the vicinity of Bond.
26:28So, the Vikings, the three is their first two timeouts, and now an incomplete pass.
26:33Get the ball back as the clock stops at 316.
26:36The last thing you want to do is stop the clock when you're up three, knowing that the other team has a timeout.
26:43You either force them to use a timeout or let the clock run.
26:45Definitely don't agree with that play call.
26:54Browns ran only 11 seconds off the clock during that series.
27:01More games from the 30.
27:06Price.
27:08Down to the 20.
27:0953-yard punt, only three on the return.
27:17Justin Jefferson, with six receptions today, has got over 100 yards.
27:23And Jim Schwartz, he said it best.
27:25Most receivers, they have one thing they're really good at.
27:28Either intermediate routes, deep balls, or short routes.
27:32Justin Jefferson can do it all.
27:34We've just shown you every route on the route tree.
27:37Basically, every route on the route tree, where he is getting open, it was versus man, versus zone.
27:43He gets open.
27:44He is one of the best wide receivers, over 100 yards today.
27:48And let's not also forget, he's done that with how many different quarterbacks now, can we, right?
27:52Just think of the quarterbacks that he's gone through in the past five seasons, and he still has that production.
27:59It's Carson Wentz.
28:02Starting his third straight game for the Vikings.
28:05Ready, set!
28:07Trailing by three, low snap.
28:09Wentz able to hand it off.
28:11And a big hole up the middle for Mason, who gains nine.
28:20Like, look, the snap could have almost been a disaster for the offense.
28:24Instead, it ends up being a nice game.
28:26Dory Mason, going through the heart of that brass defense.
28:29Second down and one, Wentz to the outside.
28:35For Vikings' first down, Harden brought him down.
28:41Inbounds.
28:42So the clock continues to run.
28:44He scores a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half.
28:59Passes clock.
29:00Down to the 38-guard line.
29:02It's Hawkinson.
29:05Down to 2.05 as the clock continues to run.
29:08A gain of six.
29:12And that will take us to the two-minute warning.
29:16Wentz taken down on the last drive by Collins, but now with an opportunity.
29:20Browns with a three-point lead so far this season.
29:2818 games for the game-winning score of the final three minutes of the fourth quarter or
29:33overtime.
29:33Tied for the most over the first four weeks of any NFL season.
29:38We have been a part of a couple of those, right?
29:40With the Bucs, Falcons, and the Bucs, and Jets.
29:43Man, those are some good games.
29:50Three-point game here with two minutes remaining.
29:54Right now, Justin Jefferson at the bottom of the screen, lined up against Denzel Warren.
30:01Second down in full.
30:05Wentz on the middle.
30:06First down across midfield.
30:09T.J. Hawkinson.
30:14What you're going to see is a lot of T.J. Hawkinson going right over and sitting on the zone.
30:19What was interesting is that they rolled the zone away from Denzel Warren, yet Carson Schwestinger
30:24went a little too far, and then Hawkinson went right underneath where he was.
30:299-15, his sixth catch today, and now Jetson is going to make the catch.
30:34That's tough with Denzel Warren.
30:36Another Vikings first down.
30:39That's just beautiful.
30:40Carson wins.
30:41Recognizing last time it was one-on-one, no help.
30:44Same thing happens here.
30:46Four-time Pro Bowler, Denzel Ward, he's usually good in that, but those 50-50 balls, they're
30:51always going to go to Justin Jefferson.
30:54Browns called timeout.
30:56Charge timeout.
30:57Cleveland.
30:58Following the 21-yard reception by Jefferson.
31:03Coming up, the Mercedes-Benz postgame highlights an analysis and an interview with the star of the game.
31:11That's coming up on the Mercedes-Benz postgame, down to a minute ten, with the Vikings already
31:18in field goal range, trailing by three.
31:21You see how quickly the momentum changes, the situation changes, right?
31:25Because now the Vikings are in field goal range.
31:28They still have that timeout, which Kevin Stefanski didn't force Kevin O'Connor to take.
31:32So you have a timeout, you're able to still run your offense, right?
31:35Run the football if you want, still have the passing play.
31:38So now, defensively, you're worried about not allowing them to score the touchdown.
31:43What you're really worried about is how do you force a three and out, or excuse me, not a three and out,
31:46force a third down, so they need to kick it as opposed to a touchdown.
31:49And one thing about Jim Schwartz's defense, it's not complicated.
32:11So when you spread them out empty, it allows Carson Wentz to really read the defense,
32:17know who's coming, know who's not coming.
32:19This defense is very violent, physical, but it's not taxing on you mentally.
32:24And that's why you see Kevin O'Connor liking to have these motions out to empty,
32:27make it easy for Wentz to figure out where he wants to go with the football.
32:32Check it out at five.
32:34Mason makes the catch.
32:37Mason tripped up by Miles Harden.
32:39State of two, down to the 21-yard line, just over a minute remaining.
32:45I think you think he got out of bounds, Kenny.
32:47So the clock has stopped, and the Vikings still have that timeout.
32:50All right.
32:59All right.
33:07Kevin O'Connell out for a check with Scott Novak.
33:10Third down at three, upcoming for the Vikings.
33:30Both coaches with questions for the officials.
33:32It looks like they're trying to determine if Jordan Mason actually got out of bounds
33:40or was knee down prior to having that ball out of bounds.
33:44After review, the runner's knee was down in bounds.
33:48Clock was at 59 seconds.
33:49Cleveland is elected to take a charge timeout, so we do not run 10 seconds.
33:56So second charge timeout for Cleveland.
33:58Play clock will be at 25.
34:02Game clock at 59.
34:04There you saw the knee go down before the ball touched out of bounds.
34:07And Cleveland takes a timeout instead of the 10-second runoff.
34:13And Cleveland is doing that because now they need to preserve time.
34:16As I mentioned, the situation has changed.
34:19Now, Kevin Sabansky, he's worried about if the Vikings score a touchdown here.
34:23He needs time on the clock for Dylan Gabriel and that offense to go down and try and score.
34:28They had two seconds back on, so the clock now at 59 seconds.
34:32Gabriel can only watch.
34:34Bird down at three.
34:35Mason in the backfield.
34:43Addison in motion.
34:46On third down.
34:47Wentz complete for a first down.
34:51It's Addison.
34:53At the Browns 17.
35:00Nice play call.
35:01Addison is basically running away from Miles Harden.
35:04The nickel corner the whole time.
35:07That is a tough coverage for Miles Harden.
35:09The best he can do is just make the tackle.
35:11But it was enough for a first down.
35:13Browns use their final timeout.
35:15So a new set of downs for the Vikings who trail by three.
35:23Minnesota with one timeout remaining.
35:25The Browns are out of timeouts.
35:27And going back to this one timeout for the Vikings, it's very hard to call a play defensively because you're Jim Schwartz.
35:35You know they can still run the ball.
35:37They can still pass the ball anywhere.
35:39Not just taking shots to the end zone because there's so much time left.
35:43Plus, they have the timeout.
35:44Just taking it back to that third down play.
35:51Dylan Gabriel throws an incompletion.
35:53That's why it was important to run the football.
35:55Run some clock off.
35:56They're forced to use a timeout.
35:58Wentz quick release.
36:00It's Addison on first down.
36:01Inside the 15.
36:02And take it down.
36:05Inbounds.
36:07And you can see the Vikings offense very familiar with this situation.
36:11No panic by them.
36:13They're already up to the line of scrimmage.
36:14Carson Wentz getting the play call.
36:17And now is the time where you need a Miles Garrett.
36:19It's Browns defense to step up.
36:21Make one of these game-changing plays.
36:23Wentz, second and five.
36:25Addison, he's got it from Stone.
36:32What a throw.
36:41What a throw.
36:42What a drive.
36:44What a throw.
36:45And Addison is the one making the play.
36:47Second half, we said we need to see more of him.
36:49He comes up big for the Vikings.
36:51Getting that touchdown.
36:53Taking the lead with 25 seconds to go.
36:56He did not play in the first quarter.
36:58Coach's decision.
36:59We saw him sparingly in the second quarter.
37:02But a huge second half for Jordan Addison.
37:09The extra point is good with 25 seconds remaining.
37:15The Vikings now lead by four.
37:17Yeah, Jordan Addison.
37:19I mean, this is just...
37:20The route is good.
37:22The throw is great.
37:24Denzel Ward was baiting him.
37:25He was baiting Carson Wentz, thinking he could never make that throw.
37:29Going right over the top of him for the beautiful catch and the touchdown for the Vikings.
37:36What a play.
37:37That was such a nice throw.
37:38I can't emphasize enough how good of a throw that was.
37:41That is big league.
37:42Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes.
37:44Those are the ones that take chances on that type of throw and put a beautiful touch over the defender for the touchdown.
37:51Addison had a big day last week in Dublin against the Steelers.
37:55Wentz heading downfield to celebrate Garrett and the Browns.
37:59Now trail by four with only 25 seconds on the clock.
38:06Who would have ever thought it would be the Browns' defense that doesn't hold up?
38:11Fourth quarter, they've been playing phenomenal all game long.
38:14That one drive, the Vikings had their number.
38:18Sealed it with a very nice throw by Wentz to Addison.
38:21And here's Dylan Gabriel.
38:42His day so far has been really good, right?
38:45He's able to get the ball out there.
38:47He likes those out-breaking routes.
38:48Putting enough on it.
38:49The ball placement was there.
38:51And you know he's mobile enough to get out there.
38:53Throwing a touchdown to Harold Fannin.
38:55Another one to David Njoku.
38:57So it's not like it's too big for him.
39:00It's just that he got 25 seconds.
39:02Right.
39:0221 seconds now.
39:0421 seconds now.
39:05He needs to go 71 yards without a timeout.
39:07Right.
39:12Gabriel on first down.
39:15Throws over the middle.
39:16It's caught.
39:17Across midfield by Bond.
39:18They do not have a timeout.
39:20Clock running.
39:24And now Gabriel will spike it.
39:2623-yard connection from Gabriel to Bond.
39:30And now we have seven seconds remaining.
39:33And the ball at the Vikings 49.
39:36You know, if I, if I'm, seven seconds, I don't know if I want to try to get greedy and see if I can pick up a quick chunk play to the outside, throw it, you know, seven route, 15 yards and out to the sideline before going for it all on a Hail Mary.
39:52That was.
39:55Give me up.
39:56Vikings drop.
39:57Three all the way back.
40:02Seven seconds.
40:05Gabriel sets.
40:06Продолжение следует...
40:36The ball being snapped, we had an acknowledgment of the timeout for Minnesota.
40:43All right, so Kevin O'Connell did call timeout.
40:4630 seconds on time.
40:48So they will reset the clock.
40:50The Braves will get another opportunity.
40:55There is Kevin O'Connell.
40:57Yeah, signaling to the official, yeah, he wanted that timeout.
41:00Now he doesn't want the timeout.
41:08After he sees the interception.
41:09So the ball plays back at the 49-yard line with seven seconds remaining.
41:23Three Vikings back along the goal line.
41:36As Gabriel throws, and it is caught by Thras.
41:42But that will do it.
41:44Clock runs all the way down.
41:45Yeah, I know what they were trying to do.
41:49Trying to get it over the top to Thras.
41:51He runs out of bounds.
41:53That is a tremendous play.
41:54Jeff Okuda tripping him up before he can get out of bounds.
41:58Bach runs out.
41:59Minnesota gets the victory.
42:01Mike, you just go to 5-0 in London.
42:04The starting quarterbacks, Wentz and Gabriel.
42:07Gabriel in his first NFL start.
42:09A couple of touchdown passes.
42:12Wentz and Schwartz, five seasons together in Philadelphia.
42:19Vikings split their games overseas.
42:21Now 3-2.
42:24They will be off next week.
42:26Browns drop to 1-4.
42:29We'll take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh next Sunday.
42:34Sunday.
42:39What a day here in London.
42:41Vikings pull out the victory.
42:44Tremendous job by our entire crew,
42:46led by producer Fran Morrison, director Scott Katz.
42:50For Jonathan Vilma and Sarah Walsh,
42:52I'm Kenny Albert.
42:53Stay tuned for the Mercedes-Benz postgame coming up next.
