Ag Bullet On Track for Breeders' Cup Bid Before Fasig-Tipton Stage

Grade I winner Ag Bullet has been the horse of a lifetime for owners Calvin Nguyen and Joey Tran. In top form this year at 5, Ag Bullet is now gearing up for one last dance with her connections in the GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint before heading through the ring at Fasig-Tipton's 'Night of the Stars' Sale.

00:00Well, AG Bullitt is a very unique offering to have the opportunity to sell a mare of that

00:22quality that has sustained her brilliance over a long period of time. We saw her race in the

00:28Jiper where she beat the boys. Just breathtaking. And let's hope, knock on wood, that we're gonna

00:34have another brilliant performance from her in the Breeders' Cup again this year. AG Bullitt is an

00:42exceptional racehorse. It is owned by Calvin Wynn and Joey Tran and trained by Richie Baltus. We're

00:49in the business of speed and she is exceptionally fast and she hates to lose. When they're different,

00:56you know they're different. She's different, so. I think it's just her fight, you know. She just

01:03wants it, you know. When she sees the other horses around her and she has that killer instinct.

01:09She's taken us on quite a ride. I'm just so fortunate to have a horse like that. But it will be

01:14AG Bullitt. Maybe the most impressive race was Kentucky Downs Lady Sprint last year when she

01:21won by seven lengths and she broke the track record. AG Bullitt and Umberto Rispoli have

01:28run them off their feet. AG Bullitt rolls home. I think she showed and demonstrated her incredible

01:35heart and her incredible ability in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint last year where she was just beaten.

01:40And I think she really drew everyone's attention about running one of the best races on the day.

01:44You know, I missed her race in New York, the Jaipur, because my daughter graduated that same day,

01:53high school. I watched it live on TV and I screamed so loud. It was unbelievable. I was getting goosebumps.

02:01Powerfully on the wire. AG Bullitt dominates the Jaipur.

02:06But overall, yeah, I've been to Kentucky with her Kentucky Downs and she, you know,

02:11like, God, she hasn't disappointed many. I feel like now she's probably the best

02:16Philly and maybe the best sprinter in the country. So I'm not afraid of anybody. And I know she's not.

02:21She's just 100% racehorse. AG Bullitt has earned over 2.7 million dollars to date and she's

02:29Throwing Candy's leading money earner. It's a very unique offering and we're just so happy to have the

02:34opportunity to sell her this year. To me, she has one of the most international appeals. I think about

02:40Lady Shipman, who, Lady Shipman in Caravelle may be the only comparisons to AG Bullitt. And Lady Shipman

02:47in one of her first foals is the mother of Golden Powell. So if you're coming to America to get speed,

02:53there's no better place than consider AG Bullitt. Once in a lifetime for us and, you know, I mean,

03:01if we could keep her, we would, but she's so valuable. And so it's hard for me to not to take

03:07advantage of the, of the market right now, how strong it is. She's brought me so many wonderful

03:13memories and it just, it's going to be very bittersweet. It really is. It's a dream. That's

03:18why everybody gets in this business to try to have, you know, a great experience and to have a great

03:22horse. It meant a lot. I mean, she's given me a couple of real big wins, which is always good.

03:29You know, it's just, she won't be missed, but she will be, you know, I would just want her to have a

03:35great life. That's what it's all about.
