Creators in Fashion Is turning VidSummit into the ultimate creator runway show

00:00A new kind of fashion week is here, and it's not happening in Paris, New York, or Milan.

00:04It's happening at VidSummit. This year, Creators in Fashion, a fashion event by creators for

00:10creators, is taking over the runway and live streams worldwide. This is an event that is

00:15meant to really give back to our peers, our fellow creators, in a way that is also entertaining for

00:21their fan bases. Founded by Amy Roberts and her team at Theris Media, the event started as a fun

00:26merch launch in 2024, and now it's a full-on fashion variety show. It's meant to be a

00:32celebration of all things creator and lifestyle that really is a place for everyone to come

00:38together. Even if you never really thought fashion was for you, it can be a little gateway to kind of

00:43let you dip your toes in. But here's the twist. It's not just big-name creators walking the runway.

00:49It's makers, designers, and artists from every corner of the creator economy. I wanted to make

00:54sure we carved out a part of this show for people who are hand-making things themselves, and that's

00:59part of their actual content. The variety show includes creator and cake artist, Mary Allison

01:05Martin, who will be on stage blending pop culture and cake decorating in real time. Yeah, it's honestly

01:11very inspiring to me because there's so many different creators who do a lot of different things,

01:18whether that's fashion, food, beauty, whatever product launches they may have. It's just really

01:24inspiring and really cool to get to be a part of this community. And this fashion show is all part

01:29of a much bigger story. Yeah, I think the creator economy is at a place where most creators, basically

01:36every single creator, is their own media company. It's what Amy calls the next boom of the creator

01:42economy. We've had like a lot of generations on YouTube. I think we're getting ready to see another

01:47boom in the next like five years. So whether it's a cake artist walking a runway, a tech team strutting

01:53in hoodies, or an indie fashion drop inspired by a horror game, the live event is proof that creators

01:58aren't just making content. They're building brands, shaping industries, and redefining culture.
