00:00We are going into the last two matches of the CAF qualifiers in Africa.
00:04There's a lot of very exciting storylines that we will be getting into.
00:07So I'm going to pose with y'all a few different true or false questions leading into this.
00:12Are y'all ready?
00:12Yes, sir.
00:13First up, we have Nigeria will turn it around and qualify directly for the World Cup.
00:18True or false?
00:19Absolutely false.
00:21Absolutely, absolutely false.
00:22Not even with the point reduction?
00:24No, because South Africa has easy game.
00:26And so South Africa should win their games, which allows Nigeria to go in second.
00:29But first is they don't deserve it.
00:31They didn't have a good enough qualifying run.
00:32They don't.
00:33And so I don't think the answer is false.
00:36Yeah, false for me.
00:37False for me.
00:37I think too little, too late.
00:39Got the three points closer.
00:40I don't think it's enough.
00:42False, but you see what happened last time with them in an international competition.
00:46They turned it around somehow.
00:47They did.
00:48Final of Apcon, it's true.
00:49For me, it's false.
00:51They're going to drop points, disappoint their people.
00:53All right, moving on to the next one.
00:55And Dennis Bawanga of Gabon will finish as top scorer ahead of Mo Salah.
01:01True or false?
01:01He currently leads with one more goal than Mo.
01:04This is tough because I think Mo is in a place where he needs to turn around.
01:09So I'm going to say false because I think that Salah is going to be looking for goals
01:14because of what has been happening with his form back at Liverpool.
01:16Interesting.
01:17And it's going to be tough to defeat a Salah that's looking to right his form.
01:21I'm going with True.
01:22I think he's going to be the top scorer.
01:24He's top scorer right now in MLS.
01:25He's having the season of his life.
01:27He's the strike partner Aubameyang always wished he had.
01:29He finally has towards the end of his career.
01:31Shout out to him, too, having a great season at Marseille.
01:33But I'm going True with Dennis.
01:35Oh, Dennis, True, man.
01:36I'm going with Dennis as well.
01:38He got Sonny playing with him, setting him up in the States.
01:42Yep.
01:42And then he got Aubameyang back home.
01:44You can't answer more as a striker.
01:47And lastly, DR Congo will beat out Senegal and finish top of their group.
01:52True or false?
01:54I think false.
01:56I think while Congo has a very, very good squad and they brought in incredible players,
02:02and even seeing Wan-Bissaka switch over to Congo is really cool.
02:07Great to see.
02:08I think the prestige that Senegal has had in recent years will, unfortunately for Congo,
02:13kind of win out.
02:15Football at the end of the day can sometimes just be about heritage and who has the history
02:18and the prestige to take them over the line.
02:20And I think in African football, Senegal is a giant that still is yet to be topped,
02:24and Congo isn't there yet.
02:25Senegal is expected to take that for sure.
02:28Yeah, false.
02:28I'm going with Senegal as well.
02:30I'm going True.
02:31Hey, okay.
02:32Senegal beat them last time in qualifying.
02:35I think Congo, after their performance in the last Alcon, is looking for revenge.
02:39And now is the time to do it.
02:40If they're in form, I think they'll take it.
02:43All right.
02:43And speaking of KF, we got to talk about one of the best players in the Premier League
02:48right now.
02:49Your boy, Semenya, who's been absolutely balling for AFC Bournemouth, just bagged another brace.
02:54But how good is he right now in the Premier League?
02:56Is he legitimately the best player in the Premier League right now?
02:59In current form, he gets into any team at the moment.
03:02I agree.
03:02You know, Kluivert even said he's world-class, and that just comes down to consistency.
03:06But being able to beat your man at his stature, very quick feat.
03:10You know, very explosive guy.
03:11So, no, he's always talked about his come-up story.
03:14You know, the fact that even when he was coming up, you know, he was denied a lot.
03:18And it's showing now.
03:19He's not being denied anymore.
03:20Definitely not.
03:21I think, too, just what you spoke about, his explosiveness and shiftiness on the wing,
03:25to add that in with now an increased goal contribution, and especially in these big
03:29moments, I think it's taken him up a notch.
03:31I don't know if he's the best Premier League player right now, but if he continues at this
03:35current state, he could have a legit shot at Player of the Year in the Prem.
03:38So, that's what I think about it.
03:40I think Semenya right now is undoubtedly the best African player on form.
03:45That's easy to say.
03:46But now, in terms of whether or not he's the best Prem player, I think in the most,
03:52in the recent weeks, the goals that he's scoring and the confidence that he has puts him up
03:55there.
03:56I think what's easy for me to say is that he's the most confident Premier League player
03:58right now.
03:59Yeah, yeah.
03:59That is something I think that's underrated and not spoken about enough, but we were talking
04:04about fear and fearing players earlier.
04:05Yeah, for sure.
04:06And defenders fearing someone coming at them.
04:08If I see Semenya coming at me, I'm terrified.
04:10That's kind of how I feel right now.
04:12You can tell that he's someone on a mission.
04:13And for Ghana, he's an incredible person to have.
04:17With kudos on the other side, too.
04:19Yes, sir.
04:19Woof.
04:19That's a joke.
