00:38has within their own ability to qualify in first place for the world cup so one of the many exciting

00:44storylines but any others that stand out or ones i want to break down no i think for me it's nigeria's

00:50been handed a lifeline it wasn't definitely yeah they've been handed a life it's kind of funny too

00:54because i was like nigeria can't miss the world cup right and then this happens i don't know they

00:58fielded a player his name was um tabo homo kenna who had a yellow card like he was supposed to be

01:04suspended for a match and they just put him back in the game

01:07hey man at that level it's that level it's an excuse it's poor it's very poor um and he as well

01:17should know yeah he should know there's so many things that there's a lot there's a lot yeah and

01:22they put out a statement i still could have won too like the south african federation put out a

01:26statement afterwards like apologizing like we're so sorry like please still get behind the team like

01:30and they're gonna appeal but i'm like what are you appealing the player was on the field bro he

01:36played the game i mean there's no other way to put it it's it's unprofessional um yeah now nigeria

01:42has to take advantage of it because at the end of the day professionalism is part of the sporting

01:46project like if you're going to a tournament your staff also has to be conscious of who's a lot to play

01:51who is it so i think nigeria is what three points behind now on yep only three points 11 14 and then

01:59the two below them are tied at 11 points it's possible anything is possible two games left

02:03right two games left anything is possible um my prediction is that nigeria will go through

02:08the storyline in what place though in in second place so like they'll go into the playoffs yeah

02:14playoff is very competitive though so it's not automatic at all i think south africa is still

02:19going to win out i agree yeah i think they uh they play against zimbabwe and that game is actually

02:30issues and then they play rwanda again at home they could win both of those games i think they'll

02:35still win i know still finish top of the group um got some other exciting storylines too gabon and ivory

02:40coast are neck and neck at the top of their group any picks for who y'all think is going to go

02:44through gabon being led by obama yang balling out in france and dennis bowonga going crazy in the

02:49mls it's a fact it's a fact no i mean listen at the end of the day you want the biggest players there

03:31you think like missing out on afcon will help them in terms of like having more time to gel

03:36where they lack synergy how do you think that dynamic will affect them so i actually think that

03:41afcon highly like i think afcon gives african nations a big big advantage going into the world

03:47cup because they have a major tournament six months before the world cup yep i think when you look at

03:53the united states one of the main main issues for why america isn't doing so well is because of a

03:57lack of competitive games leading into the world cup america didn't have to go through qualifiers

04:01having afcon six months before the world cup really gels the team so i think it's not going

04:07to help ghana in the same way that it will help teams like morocco teams like egypt who will have

04:11a major tournament and then a world cup to go into um so yeah i just don't think it's it's a good thing

04:17i don't think it's going to hurt them but i don't think it helps them that's fair afcon gives you the

04:21opportunity to see what you need to fix your team yeah even if you win the whole thing so ghana will be

04:38i don't know how familiar you are with etta a young who is absolutely balling out with newly

04:42promoted levante in la liga um with three goals and three assists already for the club including a

04:48goal against real madrid who's obviously been off to a very hot start to the season um so in terms of

04:52african breakout players i think he could really be one to shine especially when you have maybe that

04:57kind of like iconic season with that lower table team help them avoid relegation and stay in the

05:01league so etta a young from uh cameroon on levante is definitely gonna be my pick so far no it's a

05:07beautiful story as well he was playing um in cameroon no less than four years ago and so to see him now

05:13balling out in la liga scoring goals against some of the world's best teams it's just a testament to how

05:17far you can go if you believe me yourself another cameroon who's balling out is uh belaba yeah right heavy

05:22balling balling and gisa as well still balling for napoli so cameroonians in the midfield and

05:27in the attacking third are doing very very well um yeah i think those that cameroonian trio would

05:34gotta be my pick for africans to watch nicholas pepe as well as well to say keeping in la liga

05:39yellow submarines come on up at the at the wheel august player of the month it's crazy man he got a

05:46silly that's going around too the best celebration in the world right now for sure for sure but even

05:51part of the reason i said gana will be good at the world cup is because kudos has been doing well at

05:55top now for sure i'm saying has probably the most take-ons and chances in the prem this year

06:00so ghanians are doing well simeno yeah it's been a breakout season for him bro he's a baller yeah

06:06good luck guarding him moving into another european league in liga on the top five teams are only

06:11separated right now by three points so it's a very exciting race both for the title and the european

06:16qualification spots this is of course because marseille had the big upset in le classique with

06:21a one nil victory over psg but any thoughts on can anyone push psg in the title race is there anyone

06:26you think can sneak into one of these european spots but it's very tight only three points between

06:30the top five teams i think my favorite thing that's come out of ligan recently is deservey marseille's

07:41brought in so many good players so many so there's now four or five teams that will give psg a tough

07:46week wasn't really like that last year so i can see this league being a little bit harder not to

07:52mention psg has been playing a lot yeah and so injuries will continue to come up we could we could be

07:59in for one of the best french league on seasons we've had in a while moving over to portugal we've
