00:00But the game on Sunday, a great game, obviously, by the Patriots

00:04and a fourth-quarter game-winning drive by Drake May,

00:09and he had been putting together a really good start to the season

00:12but kind of taking it to the next level on Sunday night,

00:15specifically in that fourth quarter.

00:18Yeah, man.

00:19The maturity that we've seen from this 23-year-old in his second year,

00:23especially this Josh McDaniels offense, is pretty outstanding.

00:26Now, I will say, I thought that the way that Drake plays football

00:29where I saw it on his UNC tape, and I even asked him last year,

00:33like, how do you read defenses?

00:35Are you looking at, you know, are you trying to say,

00:37what's this coverage?

00:38Are you looking at space?

00:39And he's like, yeah, for him it's space and leverage,

00:41which is exactly what Josh McDaniels offense is designed to exploit.

00:45That's why you have all the route adjustments.

00:47That's why some people think it's complicated,

00:49because it's designed to basically beat any kind of coverage you're getting.

00:53So, obviously, in the summer, you know, there were some hiccups.

00:55I was kind of wondering how long it would take for them to really mesh.

00:59But over the past two, three weeks, I think we've really seen that.

01:02And last night, not only did we see the growth in the offense,

01:06but also his ability to drive down the field in a critical moment at the end of the half,

01:10not once, but twice.

01:11Remember, he did it at the end of the first half,

01:14and obviously to win the game with some insane throws.

01:17So, that was one of the bigger question marks maybe I had so far with Drake May's game.

01:22Can he get that staple comeback drive?

01:25And he did it.

01:25And I really think Patriots fans, you know,

01:28I'm kind of hesitant sometimes to get excited about this kind of thing,

01:31but Patriots fans should be excited.

01:33They really did get a good one.
