00:00Sticking with Drake May for a moment, he joins, and I'm reading a tweet here from the NFL.
00:04Each week, this is crazier and crazier.
00:06He joins an elite club of quarterbacks with 200-plus passing yards and a 100-plus passer rating in seven-plus consecutive games.
00:16So 200 or more yards, 100-plus passer rating, seven consecutive games.
00:20This is the list, the whole list in the history of the league.
00:24Tom Brady, of course, in 2007.
00:26Peyton Manning in 2004.
00:29Patrick Mahomes in 2018.
00:30Aaron Rodgers did it twice, 2011 and 2020.
00:33So that's the whole list.
00:35Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Mahomes.
00:37May is now on that list.
00:38And correct me if I'm wrong, those are all MVP seasons for each of those guys.
00:40That sounds right, yeah.
00:41I'd have to double-check the Mahomes one, but we know Brady won it.
00:43We know Manning won it.
00:44I think Rodgers won it.
00:45Mahomes is definitely right.
00:46Brady's definitely right.
00:47Manning in 2004.
00:48Yeah.
00:48I'd have to double-check to Rodgers.
00:49Yeah, I think every single one of them that's done this is one MVP.
00:51Okay, so you're 60 seconds on him being the MVP.
00:54He's looking sounder and sounder.
00:55Although when he threw that pick, I was about to text you.
00:57I'm like, he's your MVP?
00:59I'm actually glad he did that.
01:01That proved that he's mortal.
01:02It proved that, all right, maybe he's not going to complete every single pass that he throws,
01:07and he may actually have a turnover.
01:09So he did do that.
01:10But no, each week, and they mentioned it a little bit on the broadcast, too,
01:13because they were talking about last week's completion percentage
01:16and how he broke a Tom Brady record.
01:19And it's like, it's nuts.
01:21Like, the guy can't win six Super Bowls tomorrow, but what he can do is he can keep putting up these crazy games,
01:28and then you're comparing seven- and eight-game sample sizes to the greatest quarterback of all time.
01:34And he's doing it.
01:35And the guy's going out there, and they're winning games, which is the most important.
01:39It's not as fun if he's putting up 100 quarterback ratings and they lose again, right?
01:42So them winning makes this conversation, I think, fine.
01:46But it's remarkable just how consistent he's been and how much better he is year over year.
