00:00This time on Outback Truckers. Getting all sorts of different reports about the
00:05road. The road's pretty crooked places. When you come out here, basically throw the clock out the
00:10window. Ah, shit. We've got a five-meter loader in front of us, driving through dust, and that's
00:17where our accident is at. Shit. The boat is... Expensive. About 3.5 mil. It looks like it was
00:29the worst of it. Your trucks are closed to the road down the end. Shit. Go to me a little bit,
00:37John. Dickheads put in their trailers. Really shits them all. Places for us to pass are really
00:46limited.
00:47Trailer, what's up? Righto, mate. I'm into it. Shit, there's a hole there.
00:56We've got a fire up here. Got a look at it. And I'm a bit concerned with where that fire
01:12is. It's not that far off the road. There's got a bit of ferocity to it. You don't want to
01:20end up on a fire, and then you've got nowhere to turn around. You're stuck there. Consequences
01:27are deadly. Now, this road goes around the southeast, so, yeah, we're going to clear it. It's quite
01:39a release. Rex Riles is racing the clock on a mission to get through Australia's desolate
01:48red centre for a critical deadline. Yeah, I've got a few people wanting to know where
01:55I am and when I'm getting back. He has just two days to complete more than 1,500 demanding
02:00outback kilometres to get back to his home town for the biggest event of the year, the
02:05Laverton Cup. We've got to get the track cleaned up and get the water on the track to make sure
02:16that we've got an optimal running surface. These Laverton races are pretty important to the community.
02:24It's imperative I get back on time. Getting close to Alice Springs now. Just going over the James
02:33Orr overpass. We've picked up some tippers we've ordered a while back, and we've taken them down to Laverton.
02:43Starting in Darwin, Rex has already travelled almost 1,500 kilometres to Alice Springs. Now he's heading west towards Uluru and the notoriously rough dirt of the Great Central Road to get home to Laverton, where he'll use his brand new tipper trailers worth $150,000 each for his cartage business.
03:06It has its highs and lows as like any business. Yeah, a lot of pressures. We've got fuel costs and wages.
03:19Well, right down here at the Lasseners Highway, head out past Ayres Rock.
03:27And we've got Mount Connor on our left hand side.
03:33I love being out in the bush. And I enjoy driving the big girl.
03:40Rex's big girl is a rare Texas-built Marmon truck on its third engine. A 550 horsepower, 15.6 litre diesel.
03:51The Marmon. It's a 1995 truck, and they've done nearly 2 million k's.
04:00Just about coming into Curtin Springs now. Get some fuel and park up and have a cold beer.
04:07Righto, let's do it.
04:16Righto, let's do it.
04:18We've got a lot of corrugations here. As you see, if you're driving it too fast, it does a lot of damage. We start breaking the failures.
04:36If you're trying to read the road, try and dodge the really bad spots. You limit the amount of damage you do. That's the trick.
04:43It takes you a bit more time to get from point A to point B.
04:47Just do it all day today, and then day tomorrow, then we're going to get it.
04:51We're going to try and be in a loader by Friday lunchtime, no later.
04:55If I don't get back there in time, I'm going to be in the shit.
05:04I'm going to get out, have a wander around, just see what things are doing.
05:10Hopefully everything's sitting all right.
05:18That's better.
05:20Will Barron's as cold as, bloody just lukewarm.
05:25Come on.
05:32Bit of loop.
05:37Okay.
05:45Well, that's not going to help.
05:46That's...
05:48That's not good.
05:52That's not good at all.
05:53What's happened is a chain has broken the landing leg away from the strut.
06:01And this was propping the trailer up.
06:04So it's freewheeling.
06:06If it falls over, we'll take this trailer with it.
06:08All right.
06:09I'm about ready to get this show on the road, I think.
06:22This job is part of a serious setup to keep some communities going through the wet season.
06:27What it is, is an oversized fuel tank that's going into a little community called Ringer Soak out the back of Halls Creek.
06:37Legendary 73-year-old trucker Steve Graham has a massive oversized load to deliver to a remote community in the tropical northwest of Australia.
06:46These people, they ran low on fuel last year, you know, and they've got to keep fridges and freezers running like any other little town.
06:54This tank's got to get there and set them up for a wet season.
06:58Once the wet comes in properly, they're isolated.
07:00They need their 84,000 litres of diesel on the ground, keeping their gensets going.
07:05So we've got no choice.
07:06We've got to do the job now.
07:07The wet's coming.
07:10I'm headed for Ringer Soak out of Halls Creek, and to get to Ringer Soak, I've got to go out the Duncan Road.
07:22From his base in Perth, Steve will lug the tank almost 3,000 kilometres along the Great Northern Highway.
07:29Turning off at Halls Creek onto the rugged dirt of the brutal Duncan Road.
07:36And then travelling another 160 kilometres to reach the tiny community of Ringer Soak.
07:43I've got to liaise with a 150 tonne capacity crane.
07:49There's two other communities, Balgo and Villaluna, have needed an upgrade on their fuel tanks.
07:54We have to meet with this crane at the end of the Tanamai Road.
07:59The crane is being used to install identical fuel tanks in two other remote communities in the Tanamai Desert, just before Steve arrives.
08:09They come back out of the Tanamai Road, meet me, and we go out the Duncan Road, the other way out the back of Halls Creek, and unload me.
08:19So it's all got to go like clockwork, because that big crane costs big bucks.
08:285.5 southbound.
08:31Righto mate, thank you.
08:32We've got one five and a half metre oversize load coming down the hill.
08:39I'm 3.5 wide.
08:42The good news is I'll pass him on the three lane here, and we won't have to get off the road for him.
08:47Now that is one big bulldover.
08:59Today is Supercise Saturday.
09:02They don't want the super-sized stuff to create chaos during the working week when everyone's trying to make a dollar.
09:08I can hear a bit of radio chatter going on. It might be a super-sized load in front of me.
09:19See, I can't understand. That's why I'm not talking. I'm trying to work out what they're saying with that radio chatter.
09:29Communication's key, I guess.
09:31It must be northbound, travelling the same direction as me.
09:35I have a crack, mate.
09:39They're big.
09:43They're really wide. They must be nine metres, I reckon.
09:50With me being a little bit oversize and them being a giant bit oversize, the places for us to pass are really limited.
09:59I could be stuck behind them for 100 kilometres.
10:02What are they doing?
10:06What are they doing?
10:12Come on, mate. You've got that back. You've been around, mate, please.
10:15Come on, mate. Good job.
10:17Righto, mate. Sorry. Glad to understand you. I'm into it, and I'm quick.
10:21It's gonna be tight.
10:25It's gonna be tight.
10:34Don't know if you're coming down. We're fighting it now.
10:37Yeah, but we won't, mate.
10:39Shit. There's a hole there.
10:40We'll get a better idea once we pull up to back in.
10:54Yeah.
10:55Then we'll have a bit of time. If we do need to move in, we'll do it.
10:57Sweet.
10:58House hauler Jack McRae is about to set sail on a high-stakes job with a difference.
11:05The boat is custom-built here. It's about 3.5 mil for this one.
11:10Weighs about 15 ton, 8.5 metres wide, 16 long.
11:13This is the Cure 55 catamaran. Once we get down the other end, as long as these guys can do the trip safely and not hit anything, then we'll be away.
11:26Ours is easier. Boat's a lot more stressful.
11:29Difference between a $40,000 house and a multi-million-dollar boat.
11:34Tap a guidepost or something, you gotta scratch the shit out of it.
11:38Just means I gotta be a bit more careful.
11:41Tonight, 11.30, we'll be here, get the police and pilots in, go for all our paperwork, then we'll take off down to Brisbane.
11:49From the manufacturers in Coolum Beach, Jack must weave the $3.5 million boat through narrow streets to the M1.
11:58Then push on down the highway, avoiding low bridges and guardrails, before squeezing it through tight city streets to unload on the Brisbane River.
12:06The super-sized load requires a police escort, paid by the hour. Any delays will cost Jack's company money.
12:14So yeah, it's not a cheap exercise. Keep coming, Corey.
12:21I've got Corey in the truck at the moment, so I'm on the phone with him.
12:25And then we'll just keep jiggling it in like this, just so we don't damage anything.
12:29The trailer's fully hydraulic, so lowest we can go is 900 deck height up to 2.7.
12:37The $1.2 million lift trailer has independent steering on each axle and is also able to caterpillar using a hydraulic ram mounted on the truck.
12:48We've got a remote for my trailer, and then another remote's for the ram on the truck, so that's how we're jiggling it in and knifing slowly.
12:58I've spent a little bit of extra time getting it loaded properly, safely without doing anything, no damage.
13:05Right, right, Corey.
13:07Yeah, we're coming back.
13:09Get it nice and easy.
13:11Just keep pushing that front over.
13:13Nah, we're not going anywhere.
13:16Just turn, just turn, has it got anything on the dash?
13:20Nah, it's not transmission.
13:22It's not going to tow, it's just saying it's not land.
13:25Just rev the out of it.
13:31They don't go on the gear now.
13:37Nah, it's going again.
13:38Okay.
13:39Just shut it down way down.
13:41The truck's .
13:43It's not building up air enough to put it into gear.
13:46With the autos, you need air for the gearbox.
13:49And with no air, got no gears, they can't move.
13:57It's going to be tight.
14:04Shit, there's a hole there.
14:05Over the , up.
14:07Thanks fellas.
14:21How's it going?
14:23They called me around.
14:25There's a big dip in the road.
14:26We've got to give each other space, but they're all talking about other stuff.
14:28stuff in a situation like that you just want clear direction normally it's a lot more professional
14:35than that we've got this oversized fuel tank it's going to a remote community out the back
14:45of balls creek and i'm on a tight time schedule to link up with the crane i've got the last tank
14:52for ringer soap and i have to meet with that crane on time or it costs big money and big embarrassment
15:00for me stressful but that's my job
15:11i can hear on the wireless that there's two eight meters heading north
15:22yeah 3.5 miles as the day goes along we will catch up with the ones that left early saturday
15:30morning with a bit of luck these pilots will be a bit more clear to understand
15:36that is a serious piece of machinery that's all going up there to cart iron ore i suppose
15:41it's a good day we're going to have ourselves back bring us down
15:47roger
15:49yeah why are you going mate thanks
15:55OK, on the other one.
16:15Thanks, gents.
16:19That's how it's done.
16:20Nice, clear communications.
16:23Everyone understands what's going on.
16:25Oh, shit.
16:26Yeah, mate, you're talking to the oversized with the tank on?
16:27Can we hear you drop this to the road train assembly area, mate?
16:28Yeah.
16:29Righto, mate.
16:30Yep.
16:31Righto.
16:32Thanks, sir.
16:33That's the bloody scaliest.
16:36That's Main Road's inspectors, and they've just asked me to pull into the road train area.
16:43Yeah.
16:44Yeah.
16:45Thanks, sir.
16:46That's the bloody scaliest.
16:49That's Main Road's inspectors, and they've just asked me to pull into the road train area.
16:54So, to quote, they can inspect my permits, load, and truck, et cetera.
17:01I think all my stuff's in order, but it's nerve-wracking.
17:06You just never know.
17:09I'm sweating it now.
17:10So many times in my life, I've come out badly out of these things.
17:16That's not good.
17:17That's not good at all.
17:18What's happened is the chain has broken the landing leg away from the strut, so it's freewheeling.
17:23So what we're going to do, we're going to strap that to that to pull that back into where it should be.
17:30His landing leg, if it falls over, we'll take this trailer with it.
17:37Rex Riles is under the pump, hustling to get back to his hometown, Laverton, to prepare
17:44the horse racing track for their only race of the horse racing track for their only race of the year.
17:51But although it's free to drive, the brutal Great Central Road is still taking its toll.
17:57I'm prepared that we'll get back on time.
18:12How are you?
18:14Nothing we can do to help you.
18:17Nah, I can knock this out pretty quick.
18:19See you later.
18:20Take care.
18:21You're all the best.
18:24People sort of look out for each other if there's any problems.
18:27You're a long way out.
18:29You're pretty isolated.
18:30And a long way from a flying doctor also.
18:33Can you imagine a blind doctor trying to land on these roads?
18:36It's not going to happen.
18:38A bit of common courtesy out here goes a long way.
18:41And that's all part of the outback way.
18:45Well, that's cross-chain.
18:47It's back.
18:48That's coming this way.
18:49So that's basically...
18:51It should not move.
18:52But we'll just keep an eye on it.
18:54Check it every hour.
19:05Back on the road.
19:06Trailers seem to be travelling okay.
19:09Yeah, it seems pretty good.
19:14As you can see the transformed WA sign there on the left, the outback way.
19:18We're now officially in WA.
19:23We're a long way from home yet.
19:28Just going to eye the back here a bit.
19:30And we'll just roll in.
19:31Nice and quiet.
19:32And make sure you're ready for tomorrow.
19:45It's around 5km to go to get home.
19:51Hopefully being there before 4 o'clock.
19:53Depends on the conditions of the road, of course.
19:55Getting all sorts of different reports about the road.
19:57The road's pretty crooked places.
19:58We had a massive amount of rains out here early in the year.
20:02And it's done a lot of damage.
20:03It gets worse as it goes further on.
20:04It's pretty rough up there.
20:05So you've got a bit of a plan in your head.
20:06A bit of an idea what you're going to do.
20:08But everything out here subject to change minute by minute.
20:18When you come out here, most of you throw the clock out the window.
20:22Subject to change with it by minute. When you come out here, basically throw the clock out the window
20:33This limestone shit stuff ripping your tires
20:37Hey, yeah, we can't even move this truck now. I'll see you soon
20:54Jack McRae is sweating on the delay caused by the breakdown of his truck while under pressure to shift a
21:023.5 million dollar catamaran so I've got an ear leak and it's dropping out of gear so I can't move
21:09waiting for the mechanic he's close by
21:17A lot of airlines under there so could just be a broken one saying got a popped off
21:28Why don't they be a mechanic?
21:32Oh
21:35Is she really?
21:43She's fixed looks like it so back around her pick it up
21:49Straighten up
21:56Time to get off these cradles and into the water
21:58Yeah get rid of them now if you want
22:02This is picked up now that's where it's staying on the trailer
22:06So we'll get rid of these cradles pull it out so they can tie it down
22:12This is the crucial fit getting it out of the factory without any scratches or bumps
22:18100mm each side to get out the doors
22:20They definitely made them as big as they could
22:22They definitely made them as big as they could
22:23That's straight up Corey
22:26There's it tight
22:28I mean another two Corey
22:30Two straight forward then turn hard
22:34Lift the whole trailer up straight over these bollards here
22:37Stupid place to put it all on I'll tell you now
22:43All right nice and easy
22:48Let's swap it over
22:49She's out in one piece
22:50Exciting a bit tight
22:53Got it out
22:56Time begins tonight
23:02Just getting ready to um move this catamaran
23:05It's um first time I've been back in a truck in about six years so let's see if I remember what to do
23:12Jack's co-driver for the journey is Ashley Mackay part of the family that owns Mackay and Sons
23:19I moved up north for the last uh six years I've been driving coal trains
23:23You can run from the family business but you can't hide so here I am
23:28Ashley has been tasked with helping Jack by the company's boss her brother Robbie
23:34I don't know if you call her the helper
23:36She's Robbie's sister so she gets easy jobs and doesn't do much
23:41Right let's go
23:43All right don't brush me any trees or nothing
23:51It's gonna be a slow run to the highway
23:56Oh just trying to get rid of a sign there so
23:59Getting through
24:02Driver not hit anything with the boat
24:04It's a 3.5 million dollar boat so we don't want to brush a twig with it
24:11There'd be a big tax deduction from Jack's pay is what it would be
24:17Hey Corey watch that tail swing on that sign there
24:19A bit choppy at the moment just tipped down along here
24:25trying to find the right speed so you're not knocking the gear round
24:31it's choppy at the moment just tipped on the wrong ears trying to find the right speed
24:43so you're not knocking the gear around that's the hard part i'm pulling up a bit here now
24:48just to try and reset what i'm doing rex riles is racing the clock desperate to get his valuable
24:57tipper trailers back home with enough time to prepare the local race course for the labors
25:02and cum don't try and be in uh labored today no later
25:06there's a five meter up there in front of you mate
25:13oh shit we've got a five minute load in front of us he's going pretty slow let's see if we can get
25:20some conversation going maybe we can get around him there's a fair bit of a hand out there
25:27just going to keep talking to each other just communication is the key word here
25:30all right i'll start building her up a bit i'll come past
25:36i can go a little bit quicker than them
25:40yeah right i might come around now
25:45yeah just gotta watch it through here
25:49try and point them blowouts and stuff like that
25:54everyone's happy it's all done honest and safe
26:05we're past and i'm trying to keep the dust out of his face too if i can so i'll just whip it back
26:13over here the bin's changed again
26:20oh that's a good one can i get around you
26:24there is a trucker sitting behind me
26:26all those fellas are traveling west you know i'm going to pull over to the right outside the road
26:30you want to come around you can't
26:32i can leave over to take the dust with me so they're going to clear light up and tight
26:39and they come around
26:41nice habit
26:43no worries mate
26:50dust is a big issue
26:52you drive through dust and that's where accidents happen
26:55ah shit there is a truck coming
27:02the main roads inspectors just asked me to pull into the road train terminal up here so they can inspect by permits load and truck etc
27:16i'm sweating it now so many times in my life i've come out badly out of these things
27:23i'll just grab those permits all right
27:27steve are you aware that we now do this stuff on the ipad now matey
27:33all we do is i just feed you a thing to your email and it comes up when your phone then and there mate
27:46right well it doesn't really because i don't do emails the missus does but that's all right
27:51what's our weight you reckon we're running we wouldn't be running more than 22 would we
27:55no that's 15 tonne that tank oh that's fine
28:01oh there you go 508

28:17save the maple towards the old steve's benching fun
28:19steady up on the retirement word son
28:21brakes were all pretty reasonable and all that

29:17but i've lost an air
29:19that's 100k i've got to find tomorrow
29:23hampered by frustrating delays steve is at risk of missing his rendezvous with the crane needed
29:31to unload the 84 000
29:33to unload the 84 000 litre diesel tank he's delivering
29:35to a remote community
29:37being oversized i can't make up time
29:39i'll have to pull up shortly
29:41call it the end of day
29:43we're coming up on
29:45we're coming up on munjita gorge which is a big drop off

32:43We've got a trailer on the left, a tree and a guardrail on the right, Dylan.
32:56You've got about a foot.
32:58I've got about the same on the left side.
33:00You've got a tree, you've got your own foot.
33:03Dickheads put in your trailers.
33:06It's really shit small.
33:13Ah, shit.
33:18There is a truck coming.
33:24Well, I'm going the other kind.
33:27One behind you, yeah, one behind me too, Colin.
33:31Everyone's pretty conscious of road conditions and driving at good speed, but the dust is the one you'd look out for.
33:39On a mission to get his expensive new trailers home undamaged and have enough time to prepare his local track for the Laverton horse races, Rex has hit the final stretch after surviving over 1,000 kilometres of diabolical dirt road.
33:57Bitumen.
33:58Isn't that beautiful?
33:59Like a dream come true.
34:02There's a smile on your face, doesn't it?
34:07Oh, you've got 60 kphs and then we'll be home.
34:10Yeah, looking forward to a cold beer, I think.
34:15Come back with two new tippers.
34:28Home sweet home.
34:29It's pretty good to be back.
34:34How you going, fellas?
34:41What a trip.
34:42What have you got here?
34:43Get that cold into you, mate.
34:45Oh, you're bloody legends.
34:49Yeah, good luck.
34:51Good health.
34:53Thanks a lot.
34:54Here's two years.
34:59We'll break it up tomorrow morning and I've got to get to the race course.
35:11Here we are at Laverton Race Club.
35:14Finally got here.
35:15The job is now to get the water on the track.
35:18Keep the track moist.
35:20So that when the horses get on here, it's good on their hooves.
35:24Trying to keep an optimum track surface.
35:29Rich doesn't only grade the track.
35:31He donates all the sand because it's only used once a year.
35:35He's a fantastic little man.
35:38It's just good to be back here in Laverton and be here for the races.
35:42I'm looking forward to the weekend to catch up with all the family and all my mates and friends.
35:47I think it should be good.
35:59Leads don't really matter.
36:00It's just like branches and shit.
36:05You're right on the trail at the moment.
36:07I'm looking down the driver's side, Dylan.
36:08You're good on the driver's side.
36:09Jack McRae is in charge of a high-stakes, multi-million-dollar job for Mackay & Sons, with the help of his boss's sister, Ashley.
36:29Oh, she's ready to go to sleep.
36:30She's f***ing useless.
36:31Wake me up when we get there.
36:32Two minutes to four.
36:33Pretty much perfect.
36:34Less than two time away.
36:35Is this the intersection I turn it?
36:36It's just at the end of this ride, that's where it's going.
36:39It's that hard, though.
36:40It looks like it was the worst of it.
36:46Shit!
36:47is this the intersection?
36:48We all right.
36:49It's just at the end of this ride, that's where it's going.
36:53It's that hard, though, though.
36:54It looks like it was the worst of it.
36:58You can track but it's as close as the road down here.
37:01Shit!
37:04Guy to maybe even a little bit, Josh?
37:07Inside and off.
37:10How are you, Dylan?
37:13Oh, no.
37:16You got an inch on the driver's side, Jack.
37:18This might be killing .
37:24Real steady.
37:26Whoa, whoa, whoa.
37:28Slide ahead, Jack.
37:32Real steady.
37:39Real steady.
37:4020 mil.
37:42Take out.
37:46We're here.
37:47This is where it's going.
37:48Into the yard.
37:49That's it.
37:50Done.
37:51Boys killed it.
37:52They always do well.
37:53There's a reason, you know, why they have been doing it so long.
37:57Another one ticked off.
37:59Oh, on their stands now.
38:00So, pull the trailer out.
38:02You're going home for breakfast.
38:03Yeah, five past five.
38:04We made it, mate.
38:05We made it.
38:06We made it.
38:07We made it.
38:08We made it.
38:09We made it.
38:10We made it.
38:11We made it.
38:12We made it.
38:13We made it.
38:14We made it, mate.
38:15We made it all the way.
38:16No damage.
38:17Nothing to worry about.
38:19They did it again.
38:20Woo!
38:33Better suck it in here.
38:34We're going to meet on the bridge.
38:363.5, mate.
38:37We should be good.
38:3810 hours at all, mate.
38:39If I have a good run today, I should get close to my thousand kilometres.
38:56But, yeah, it's not without its stress.
39:01Steve's racing to deliver a 15-ton fuel tank, essential for providing power to a remote community.
39:08But the crane required to lift the tank could be delayed, costing Steve precious time and money.
39:15Yesterday, Tony said to me, the crane might have some mechanical problems.
39:21This morning, there was absolutely no sign of any problems with the crane.
39:25It leaves you just stressing and worrying about what's going on.
39:29And all I can do is I'll get to the top of the town of my road and wait.
39:34Oh, well, here we go.
39:40We've got a quad to deal with here.
39:42Apart from this beautiful scenery, you'd know you're in the Pilbara just by the quads.
39:48They're coming at you every five seconds.
39:50You know you're on that big conveyor belt grinding its way into Port Headland
39:55with thousands upon thousands of tonnes of iron ore rolling down the road towards that port.
40:04Coming up behind JT25 and I'll get you around.
40:11Yeah, I'll ride you 25. I'm into it.
40:21These quads weigh 180 or 200 and something tonnes, 60 metres long,
40:28carting massive amounts of iron ore.
40:31They're all pretty good money driving them. They're all seriously good money.
40:36We've got a lady driving this one.
40:43Thank you. Have a good day.
40:45I've left the Pilbara. I'm into the Kimberley and on the single lane road to the single lane bridges.
41:07I'll get up the road here a bit. I'll pull up to my meeting point.
41:22I might get there right on time.
41:28I haven't got a phone message yet from Tony. I just hope things are good out there.
41:35I'm still in that void of no information.
41:37Well, this is the Tatami. I've just got here. This is where I'll wait for the boys to come back from Bilaluna and Balga where they've dropped their tanks.
41:51Crane's going to come out. We go to Ringer's Soak. Drop mine.
42:00That is a little bit of a drama.
42:05Yes, sir.
42:06OK.
42:08Right, mate. No worries. Thanks.
42:09Crane's hydraulic tank has got a split in it. They're going to pull the hydraulic tank out, race it into Halls Creek, get it welded and go back.
42:22Everything that's operated on the crane is operated by hydraulics.
42:26They're great big hydraulic rams that push the boom in and out.
42:29They're hydraulic motors that turn the cable and bring the cable in and out.
42:33They control the steering on the crane. They've got no choice. It's going to cost two days, couple of trips in and out.
42:42So that will have me sitting here for a couple of days.
42:46And after a day, it starts to cost me money.
42:49There's absolutely nothing I can do.
42:54Absolutely nothing.
42:55Andy, you buy the car.
43:06It's blown through the tyres, but it's all the belt and shit's all jammed up inside the brake drum.
43:12Car coming through. Please don't stop it.
43:15Watch out there, car.
43:16It is very isolated. You break down, you're on your own.
43:25We've been bored ourselves.
43:27Because I'm top heavy, I've got to go dead centre.
43:30If I go to the head, the camber, as it goes in, you can control it quite easily.
43:37Here we are, back on the Duncan Road I know well.
43:41Cross our fingers that it's not going to rain.
43:44Oh my God, there's raindrops on the window.
43:47Trying to beat that rain, but the lightning keeps starting fires in front of me.
43:51This is not good.
43:52This is not good.
