The Spanish men’s national football team treated fans to a lively open training session at the Ciudad del Futbol complex in Madrid's Las Rozas on Wednesday, as excitement builds ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Bulgaria.
Footage shows the training session as thousands of supporters fill the stands. The players mingled with fans before diving into a session under the watchful eye of head coach Luis de la Fuente, who appeared focused on fine-tuning tactics and boosting physical sharpness.
New call-ups Borja Iglesias, Marcos Llorente, and Pablo Barrios added fresh energy to the session, while Celta Vigo's unpredictable forward Iglesias drew attention with his trademark flair and bold play.
As training wrapped up, fans were rewarded with a rare moment of connection as Spain's stars paused to offer selfies and autographs.
Spain now turns its attention to its upcoming World Cup qualifying matches, where it'll first face Georgia before meeting Bulgaria - crucial fixtures to secure its place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
