15:19creamy and cheesy and caramelized with those sweet nuggets of lobster mixed within it's so rich it's

16:38okay this is the safi okay so it's rabbit fish in english yeah rabbit fish yeah right oh it's hot
16:44right out of the fryer it's marinated i will show you how do we eat it okay okay one two three oh
16:52head first like you eat the biscuit yeah yeah oh the head the beak is just completely crispy all the way
17:05through with that spice glaze that's like pasted on top of it and then deep fried until crispy
17:12oh the head is amazing yeah it's so crispy now you have to eat take some of uh of the meat
17:23see oh it's hot see how how white is this uh-huh yeah take some and you try it with rice
17:32because you put some of the fish on the rice what do you think yeah that's unique um the salty fish
17:44with the spices on it the rice is sweet not too sweet but you do taste that like contrast of salty to
17:51sweet yeah it's very yeah very unique combination for sure and this would be a main dish though it's not
17:57it is i mean it's a main dish that's eaten as a main dish yeah yeah it is sweet yeah like uh yeah yeah

18:13i don't think so actually okay nice let's try lobster another way lemon lemon lobster tandoori look at that
18:21orange color please roasted okay that roasted aroma and flavor the marinade and the tandoor tandoori
18:41that convection cooking that just cooks it all the way through leaving a juicy and crispy on the top wow

19:02lobster there's also some other fish cooked in the tandoor as well right yeah the salmon tandoori okay

19:50the best dish for me in lazar salmon salmon tandoori that masala on there then being roasted in the
20:02tandoor yet remaining juicy oily preserving that salmon-y flavor as well it's like you taste those
20:09spices but they're not overpowering over the salmon-y flavor this is grouper this is a small actually
20:15small grouper few so you got a whole whole grouper resting on bed this is you know mine uh this is
20:22a qatari dishes yeah yeah yeah yeah you can take take thank you yeah so we got the grouper over a
20:30bed of rice yeah i'll put it under the rice mix it with the rice with the sauce that crispy onions yeah with
20:35the sauce with the sauce with the green pepper yeah
20:57this rice we call it matchboos oh it's matchboos yeah yeah okay but but qatari matchboos it's with
21:02our spices yeah all right so the hamur at the top this is a grouper and matchboos rice and all qatari
21:12spices and again yeah the grouper is fresh it's local i think that's what makes the difference really
21:18good fish fluffy rice crispy onions and just a light light spice blend seasoning all right are we down to
21:28the yeah the final dish on the table yeah that's it you want more i can order more i think we've
21:35already eaten the whole menu there's nothing else to order this is not a whole menu we've tried everything
21:42but there's still one thing remaining oh yeah the octopus come on oh man yeah the whole tentacle on a
21:50swing oh the tenderness yeah it's tender like chicken and they cooked that they seared this off
22:00on the the hot griddle it's a really nice texture like only lemon butter yeah yeah wow very nice
22:08not too rubbery yeah good texture yeah good flavor crispy on the edges a little leathery with that
22:16that uh exterior crust and then just like soft on the inside and muscular well fahad this has been a
22:24seafood marathon yeah what a meal you're most welcome i think showcasing the showcasing the
22:32freshness and the local qatari seafood as well as seafood from around the world and the different
22:35preparations and i think the amount of people that come to this restaurant on a daily basis is just a
22:41testament on how popular this place is and that they really care for the seafood that they're serving

23:13any phone from around the world that you need and every accessory you could possibly want it's just
23:18store after store of bright lights of phones but also at the back of this area you will find a

23:32called it's bahar khalid this place is very local all local people come to eat very nice delicious
23:40fish and seafood here okay amazing okay and to get in the kitchen we're going straight to the kitchen
23:49oh hello here we all the aroma in here oh immediately he's getting started going to fry some of those
23:56rabbit fish
24:06gravy with the squid and shrimp very nice tasty gravy usually they do it with the squid and shrimp together

24:20grilled shrimp and c plus oh okay nice yeah it's already been marinated a little bit you can see
24:25the shrimp have been marinated and the fish looks like it has a dry rub on it this will be barbecue
24:30yeah on the grill okay oh so he's preparing the fire over here immediately for the for the grill as well
24:42well yeah that's a hot fire coming from the charcoal uh but we're getting a mix of things from fried fish
24:49fried rabbit fish uh to grilled prawns and fish and the gravy with seafood as well squid
24:56into the gravy all the dried lemons in there as well right yeah yes and what's in the gravy is it a
25:05tomato based or is it tomato based okay and mix of spices can totally mix of spices yeah mix of spices

25:15oh nice and that was kind of runny at first but now you can see it's starting to thicken

25:40usually the you do what you know with the olive oil and this is a traditional dish right something
25:47that's common and traditional traditional qatarif one of the most delicious dish in qatar yeah baby
25:55shark which has been already looks like it's been sauteed down like kind of crumbly and then sauteed
26:00down with some spices already right yeah oh look at that texture of that okay that goes into the pan
26:10okay baby shark is coming along too it's kind of like crispifying kind of like uh drying out and
26:23the edges are kind of caramelizing park do you know when you eat uh the shark after that what you will
26:30say to yourself yes salam yes salam yes salam yes we'll be saying it together yes me and you

26:54fahad has ordered a bunch of different seafood dishes they're cooking away we've got things on the stove
26:59we got things on the grill we got things in the oil and now crabs and these are local qatari crabs yeah
27:05and we'll grill this one okay nice nice so we're getting a whole array of seafood
27:35okay so we did some of the cooking the main dishes that we're going to eat um and i think
27:44they're all pretty much ready so we're going upstairs the eating is upstairs okay move upstairs for the
27:49eating oh it's going to be good oh that was a steam bath of a kitchen a lot of heat coming from there
27:58they have some tables and then they also have some traditional floor seating which is the way to go
28:05yeah we are sitting on the floor this is and anticipating we used to to sit like this before
28:11yeah it's still the best way to eat traditionally yes yes oh nice here it is oh so the the rabbit

29:12fried a little bit of spice on there just give me nice liver that is a highlight yeah now i will show
29:20you how you do it this is okay okay all right you some here ghee goes onto the rice and this is rice
29:28the whole tray yeah there's fried onions on there yeah and fried onions we'll take some of some of that
29:33fish yeah fish safi oh it's crispy the belly section is really crispy as well you can eat the bones yeah
29:41yeah yeah you can put that under the rice yeah okay and then we'll give you some of
29:49baby shark nice yeah okay baby shark here and some of the gravy as well oh nice thank you yeah and
30:00that's the gravy from the yeah this is squid squid squid yeah okay and then little bit of lemon here
30:08you want some yes please yeah and then mix it all together yes i like your style man thank you i like
30:15what you're doing here stacking it and let's go okay make a kind of kind of like kind of like
30:24kind of like squeeze it in your yeah squeeze it in your palm yeah the royal mix this
30:29a bite fit for royalty wow what makes a difference is that that squeeze of lemon too that just like
30:45elevates it you know the baby shark the crab the the rice give you all the combination of the gravy with the
30:54masala different yeah it's a the combination of everything yeah the ultimate combo and the
31:04the sum of all the different components in your mouth is what makes it truly magical tasting the richness
31:10of the ghee yeah the fluffiness of the rice the aroma of those caramelized onions the crispy fish and the
31:16shark and the gravy and the cuttlefish that's like five different seafoods in your mouth all at once
31:22this is katali mix awesome yeah that's a great mix yeah that is uh a man who knows his bites right there
31:30yeah okay okay with the ghee yeah with the ghee oh yeah can we add some of this sauce too yeah you can
31:43is this the tomato sauce yeah tomato yeah yeah do you like some tomato sauce yeah sure
31:47little bit a little bit a little bit of tomato sauce on there doom and some of the gravy as well
31:52oh thank you yeah all those gravies are incredible with the tomato base yeah the squeeze of lemon lemon

32:56now another mix oh so you bite down then you immediately get this smokiness from that fire
33:03oh it's just embedded with smokiness
33:05another mix mix it with the rice yeah oh so the shark just kind of like it's like a dressing for
33:12everything you mix in the shark with everything the shark is kind of like is it's not overly strong in
33:18flavor but it kind of has this fluffy cottony texture to it kind of aerated and it just kind of mixes with
33:24the rice and gives it some extra texture as well oh ghee and ghee yes yeah and lemon thank you yeah

33:56oh it's amazing show you now how to eat you know the crab all right you open it from here okay

34:44mix that up yeah oh this is the crab the crab and shark bite
34:48the silkiness the sweetness the shark what do you think of the combination amazing very nice

35:15highlight right there yeah with the sweet silkiness of that crab the richness of the ghee
