00:00Have you ever dreamed of traveling the world but thought, hey, I just can't afford it?
00:07Well, stick with me because I'm going to share with you 12 different ways to make money while you're traveling.
00:13So it's really, really cool.
00:15Now, number one is microstock.
00:17I don't know if you've ever heard about this.
00:19It's where you take pictures and videos.
00:23Some of you can take, like, illustrations, and you upload that content on various websites.
00:28And if somebody uses it, you make money.
00:31And recently I've been getting into it, and it's a lot of fun.
00:34It's still like hunting, but you don't have to kill an animal.
00:38You just find cool stuff.
00:40And you're already traveling, taking pictures.
00:42Why not make money from it?
00:44And so I've had a blast doing it.
00:47And the cool thing is it's passive, too.
00:49So if you upload some stuff to these platforms, you can make money from it into the future.
00:55Now, I used to think that you need to have, like, this super-duper, like, expensive camera to do it.
01:00But even with the worst camera possible, I've done it, and I've actually made money.
01:05Now, obviously, it's good to upgrade to a better, like, camera because then more of your work will be accepted.
01:12But don't let that hold you back so you can still do it.
01:15But, okay, the bad news with this, just to be real with you, is you usually probably do have to upload a lot of photos, videos, illustrations to make pretty good money, okay?
01:28Also, the uploading can take some time.
01:30There's platforms out there that can make it easier, but that's kind of, like, the worst part about it.
01:34But AI can help with that.
01:36So those are some of the hurdles.
01:38Number two is actually short videos.
01:41And I really like short videos a lot because they're super easy to make.
01:45You don't need, like, fancy equipment or a green screen.
01:49So all you need is a phone.
01:51And with TikTok, all the editing is right there on the app, and they make it super, like, fast, fun, and easy.
01:57And the cool thing about, like, say, short videos like TikTok videos is that same video that you made to TikTok, you can actually post to all these other platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Rumble, LinkedIn.
02:11There's a whole lot that will take short videos.
02:13I don't know.
02:14People like short videos.
02:16They're easy to consume.
02:18You might be thinking this.
02:19Well, how in the heck do you make money off that?
02:20Well, here's the thing.
02:22All these platforms, except for Snapchat, they allow a clickable link in your profile on day one.
02:28With TikTok, you need a business account.
02:31And with that link, you can make money from it.
02:34You could lead it to an affiliate offer where you get paid.
02:37And so at the end of your videos, you'll be like, hey, you know, check out my profile for more or something.
02:41And then you get paid that way.
02:43You can also lead someone to a landing page where you can collect emails.
02:47And that's more of a long-term strategy, and I think it's more lucrative.
02:51You know, because you can do a lot more with a list.
02:54So there's a lot of things you can do with that one link, like leading back to a blog, like what I have, stuff like that.
03:02So I hope that kind of makes sense.
03:04And they're really easy to make.
03:06And if you're traveling to make a short little video on your phone, it's much more convenient, you know.
03:11All right.
03:12Next up is e-books.
03:13And e-books have more uses than inspector gadget on meth.
03:18I don't know if you remember inspector gadget, the guy with all the crazy inventions, you know.
03:24They have a lot of uses, and you may not have thought about this.
03:27But for one, not only can you sell e-books on a lot of various platforms, but you can stick affiliate links in the e-book, okay?
03:35You can use them as bonuses.
03:36So if somebody's on the edge for like an evergreen product, you can create urgency with the e-book so you can take it away, you know.
03:45So if somebody's on the fence, you can help them get them off the fence, right?
03:50So you can use them for landing pages.
03:53You can give them away, right?
03:55I've done that actually in Facebook groups.
03:56I mean, like, you know, I just kind of give them away.
03:59And I use them to grow landing pages and stuff like that as well.
04:02And the cool thing, too, which you probably never even, you might not have thought about or heard about, is something called content lockers.
04:09There's something called CPA marketing where if somebody completes like a free offer, like downloads a free video game on their phone, which takes like two seconds and it's free, you can get paid for that.
04:20Even if somebody fills out some information and they want more information, you can earn money.
04:25You don't have to sell anything to get paid.
04:29And e-books work kind of great with that because there's a lot of perceived value.
04:34And so how it works is this, is you lock up the e-book in a content locker.
04:39And in order for somebody to unlock it and look at it and view it, they would have to complete this free offer.
04:45And then you get paid and then they would get access to the e-book for free.
04:49So you kind of give it to them.
04:50So it's kind of a cool little trick.
04:53All right.
04:54And AI can help, and I know what you're thinking, but I like to, you want to make the e-book kind of valuable, too, and entertaining.
05:02So I do put it in my own words, but then I use AI to kind of sprinkle in there, too, to help out, if that makes sense.
05:11But anyways.
05:12And there's even more uses for e-books.
05:14There's a lot.
05:15And it's totally cool.
05:16You can do this while you're traveling, too.
05:18Okay.
05:19Blogging.
05:19Now, blogging may sound kind of boring and lame and not sexy, but I really like it because what's so kind of cool about the blog is, well, not only can you do the work once and you can continue to make money from it, but you can repurpose the blog.
05:34And I think a lot of people don't think about this, but like this video I'm making right now, I'm basically just reading the blog so I don't have to create a video outline.
05:43It's already there for me.
05:44So I'm killing two birds with one stone, right?
05:47You can make TikTok videos from your blog post.
05:51You can repurpose them into basically the same blog post that you post.
05:59You can also post to Medium, LinkedIn, Substack, Reddit, Quora posts, and answers as well.
06:06So there's a lot you can do with a blog, and it's pretty fun because you can tweak with it any way you want.
06:14You know, you can add videos and giffies and charts and stuff like that.
06:18So if you learn something or if you want to share something you learn, all you do is you write some notes down, and that's your blog post.
06:24Pretty easy.
06:25And one more thing, too.
06:27Oh, yeah, mic drop.
06:28You own the blog.
06:29So nobody can take it away from you.
06:31You know, some of these platforms, you know, I'm thinking about, you know, Jimmy Kimmel getting canceled and, you know, Quora.
06:38I've been canceled a couple times from Quora.
06:40Even on Reddit, some subgroups are like, they're getting like nuts.
06:44They just canceled every month.
06:46So basically, if you own the blog, you can't get canceled.
06:49You know, I guess you can in some way, but it's harder.
06:52I hope that makes sense.
06:54Okay.
06:55Next up is YouTube.
06:56And I'm so old, right?
06:58I've actually started a long time ago, and I've blown up some big YouTube channels, and I lost one.
07:05But YouTube has a lot of benefits because it's more trustworthy because someone can see you.
07:10If you're not scared of being in front of a camera, it can be very, very helpful to build that trust, right?
07:18And obviously, some people go nuts with YouTube videos, but there's ways you can make YouTube videos super fast, super easy.
07:24Don't take a lot of effort, and you can continue to earn your money.
07:27And you can make videos on anything, but I recommend something you're interested in, like, say, traveling, right?
07:34And then how you get paid.
07:36Okay, there's multiple ways.
07:37Probably the one of the best ones is, you know, leading your audience to, like, a free gift in your niche in exchange for their email,
07:45and then mentioning various products in a niche and getting paid for that.
07:48But I found that to be a really – there's ads.
07:51I mean, there's a lot of ways you can make money from a YouTube channel, but I think the affiliate marketing links is, to me,
07:58has been one of the most lucrative or the best ones.
08:01Okay, dropshipping.
08:03Okay, you know what?
08:04Now, I've thought about dropshipping, but how dropshipping works, if you've never heard about it,
08:08is when you basically list an item on one website, and then you ship it from another website, and you keep the difference, if that makes sense.
08:19It's kind of like – and I know what you're thinking.
08:21You need, like, a big old, like, e-commerce store, right?
08:24Spend all this money.
08:25You don't.
08:25You can actually do it from eBay, okay, and where you can find products, and you list it on eBay,
08:31and then you ship the item from another location, from another website, and then you keep the difference.
08:37So if you list an item for $10, and you ship it, say, for $5, then you keep that $5.
08:43It is a lot more advanced, though, okay?
08:45It really is, but it's definitely a business model, and it definitely does work.
08:51And what's cool about eBay is you're piggybacking on the trust and brand on eBay.
08:56You're not starting from scratch from a store, you know, that nobody's ever heard about.
09:02You're using eBay's reputation, if that makes sense.
09:06And it's cool is you can post a lot of items for free on eBay, too.
09:10Okay.
09:10Anyways, digital art.
09:13Digital art is something that I've been kind of getting into as well, and I'm still learning about digital art.
09:23And I think a lot of platforms, like these Microsoft platforms, they don't take 100% digital art.
09:31So, but if you add your human touch to it, then they can take it, and then you can sell it.
09:37And I actually created a whole blog post about 10 different ways to make money from AI art,
09:43and a lot of cool tips and tricks on how to make the art as well.
09:48But that's just one way, it's Microsoft.
09:50There's really a lot more.
09:53There's print-on-demand websites, like red.
09:55There's eBay, which I believe, I'm pretty sure it takes AI art.
09:59A-I-R, too.
10:02But you can make money off of it.
10:05But anyways, this is way more in-depth.
10:07And what I'll do is I'll include a link below to this whole blog post,
10:11and you can check out, you know, all the different ways you can make money from AI art in more detail,
10:17if you're interested, okay?
10:18All right, next up is Fiverr.
10:20And if you've never heard about Fiverr, it's a website where it used to be like $5,
10:25where people would do crazy stuff for $5, like call up somebody you know and sing them happy birthday on the phone.
10:33Nowadays, it's branched off into tons of different things,
10:36and people are making really good income on Fiverr, and it's not just $5, too.
10:41And there really is a lot of ways that you can do that.
10:47As you can see from the screen here, there's a whole bunch of ideas, right?
10:51Personal travel itineraries, you know, customized superior shopping services, you know,
10:57and like travel photography packages.
10:59So a lot of these you can kind of link with other things like those Microsoft platforms with Fiverr as well,
11:08and they kind of overlap, if that makes sense.
11:11So there's a lot of different ways.
11:13I'm sure if you went to AI and brainstormed a list, you can get an even bigger list than this.
11:18This is some stuff that I came up with.
11:20So, yeah, that's another way.
11:25And there's free housing and meals when you travel, okay?
11:29There's actually ways that you can do that,
11:32and obviously there's house-sitting and pet-sitting,
11:35where you watch a home or a pet, and you get like free housing and, you know, stuff like that.
11:40There's a bunch of resources I put up.
11:42Free food, yeah, some restaurants have too much and give it away at a discount.
11:46There's a bunch of places I'll include in this website.
11:50There's work exchanges, and it's kind of funny about work exchanges.
11:54It's where you trade a few hours for housing and meal,
11:57but you just got to make sure you do your research,
11:59because I've seen, I've heard some like really like bad stories about work exchanges.
12:04So I'm sure there's some good places out there,
12:06but you want to definitely do your research on that.
12:09And there's hostels.
12:10When I was in through Europe, I stayed at lots of hostels, you know, all over Europe,
12:14and I had so much fun, and the prices are all over the place.
12:18When I was in the U.K., I went there for, it was some event, so all the prices were sky high.
12:25I actually had a, the one time I got ripped off, we actually had a hostel.
12:30Funny enough, nobody stole from me, but the hostel itself overcharged me,
12:34and then you only have like three months disputed on your credit card,
12:37and it was over that three-month amount type of a thing.
12:40But the one recommendation to hostels is you want to bring earplugs, because some people snore.
12:47And there's a lot of ways you can save cash, because some of them have community kitchens as well.
12:53And there's definitely ways you can actually, depending on the hostel,
12:57you can actually get discount lodging and some food and stuff too.
13:02All right.
13:02Next up is street performances.
13:05This is something you may not have thought about, and there's a lot of different things you can do,
13:11and you can actually make a little bit of cash while you're traveling.
13:14And I actually did this when I was in Spain.
13:17I was in Popolona for the Running of the Bulls, right?
13:20And they had this band up there, and I got there, and I did a couple songs.
13:25One song I completely messed up on, but I just kept going with it,
13:29because everybody was drunk.
13:30It's like all you can drink alcohol at this event, right?
13:34But I had so much fun, but you can do something like that, you know, as you travel,
13:38and all you need is, you know, a little routine to do for tips.
13:43And I've seen this so much.
13:44Like in Venice, I've seen people where they'll have like these glasses,
13:48and they'll just make some little music going on with the glasses, you know?
13:51And they made a lot of money there.
13:53When I was over in Florence, Italy, I was at the hostel with this guy who was selling artwork,
14:00and he was doing artwork in Florence.
14:02So there's a lot of really cool things that you can do.
14:05And, again, it doesn't have to be super advanced.
14:07It could just be like a basic routine and just repeat it over and over again.
14:12Like even the guitar.
14:13I mean, I used to – I don't play guitar anymore.
14:16I probably should.
14:17I'm doing other things.
14:18But I used to know like ten songs, like covers and words.
14:22Boom.
14:23That's a routine.
14:24I could easily, you know, go around and do it and make a little bit of extra cash with your travels.
14:29All right.
14:29Anyways, those are some ideas.
14:32Next up is English Online for Extra Cash.
14:34And I'll give you a story.
14:35When I was in Barcelona, Spain, I went into a hostel,
14:40and there was this girl who was on the computer,
14:44and she was like – I talked to her, right?
14:47It's a true story.
14:48And she was doing online tutoring as she was traveling, you know, around,
14:53and she was tutoring somebody on the computer making money.
14:56And English is a very popular language, you know,
14:59because, you know, a lot of people want to learn English.
15:01And I give you a lot of websites here on how you can teach English even abroad,
15:07and you can make a little bit of extra cash with your traveling.
15:11And another story, too, is sports reporting.
15:13I don't know if you ever thought about this,
15:14but I actually did this when I was in Southeast Asia,
15:17and I was in that grocery store, and I got recruited by somebody.
15:21And I was like, all right, I'll get a shot.
15:23And I got trained, and I would go to these soccer games,
15:26and I would just report on what was going on with, like, the score and everything like that.
15:31And, you know, I did a few games.
15:35I got paid.
15:36Then one game, I don't know what happened, but it had to do with I was telling him on the phone.
15:41He couldn't hear what I was saying.
15:43And there was a game going on.
15:44I got frustrated.
15:45I ended up quitting.
15:47But that's one way.
15:49There's other ways that you can do it, the sports reporting,
15:52and some of it onto, like, devices.
15:55So it's not always on the phone.
15:57And, again, on this website, I give you a whole bunch of resources here
16:00that you can go and check it out.
16:01And they do it all over the place.
16:04And it's real.
16:05And you can get paid to go to these.
16:06It's not just soccer.
16:08There's other, like, volleyball.
16:09There's other sporting events.
16:10And I think they use it for, like, sports betting or something like that.
16:14I don't really know the details, to be honest.
16:15And, of course, if you want to make some extra cash on traveling,
16:22another really cool idea, and I've actually been doing this myself,
16:26is through eBay is if you have some items that you don't use, you can list them.
16:31And it doesn't take much work.
16:32And you get paid quickly so you can, like, get some crap in your house if you're not using it
16:37and make a little bit of cash so that you can travel.
16:40And I wrote a whole post about, you know, a lot of tips,
16:43as well as how to avoid scams on eBay, too.
16:47And just some ideas on making sure it's worthy, you know.
16:52Because the story is like this, right?
16:54If we own something, we think it's more valuable than it really, really is.
16:58So you have to know and see what the item has sold for,
17:02not what we think it's going to sell for, right?
17:05Right?
17:06Okay.
17:06So, anyways, traveling is a great experience.
17:09I've been blessed to do it at times.
17:11And, you know, I've been all over the place, Southeast Asia, India.
17:15I went all through India.
17:17You know, I've been through Europe, of course.
17:20I've been to Mexico.
17:22And there's a lot of other places I would love to go to as well.
17:25But it's really about getting outside your comfort zone.
17:28And there's so many great quotes on traveling.
17:31It was really hard to pick just one.
17:34And if I had to pick just one, it would be,
17:36Travel is fatal to prejudice bigotry and narrow-mindedness.
17:41And many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
17:46There's definitely some truth to that.
17:47Because you kind of, when you travel, you kind of look at how people live their life.
17:51They're like, wow.
17:52You know, pretty crazy.
17:54There's another good one, too.
17:55Like, a boat in the harbor is safe, but that's not what boats are used for.
17:59Boats are used to go out in the ocean, you know.
18:03Cheesy quote.
18:04So, anyways, I hope this video might give you some ideas on just some ways to make a little bit of extra cash,
18:10to live your life, and to enjoy it.
18:12Because life is short, right?
18:13And I'll put this blog post below in the comments, or not in the comments, in the description.
18:20You can check it out, and you can check out all these resources here.
18:24Hopefully this was helpful, and you have a wonderful rest of your day, okay?
18:27All right, bye for now.
18:28Bye.
