00:00Weirdly enough, we hadn't met each other before and we'd done Talk Sport the other day and it was the first time I met him and I think that there was the initial moment of sizing each other up a little bit, but then that soon went out of the way.
00:12Obviously, we then went and had a coffee after and had a chat. So I think the sizing up maybe happened on the first time we see each other at Talk Sport, but there's no getting away from it.
00:22We're still two competitors, got respect for each other, he was a top player, what he achieved in the game and he's obviously a character, personality, but come fight night, no matter how much I think he's a top fellow and wouldn't mind having a beer with him, I want to take his head off.
00:40So we're expecting it to be going full ball?
00:42Well, it should be, it's a boxing fight, do you know what I mean? It's exactly how it should be. Like you said, we're not going in there to sort of dance about, he might be a little bit, like he wants to show a few dances.
00:53But you're there to take his head off.
00:54Oh yeah, and also, it's like when we're, I know Dave said it, he said, but we want to respect the game as well, respect the fight game.
01:01It's like, we realise that we're not boxers or we're not fighters or anything like that, but when we do go in there, make sure that we're giving it our all and trying to pay the sport the utmost respect and I think the best way of doing that is trying to end the fight.
01:18I've heard about the dance round that you and Deer are going to have. Are you prepped for that dancing round?
01:23I don't need to prep for that, that's the easiest thing. He fancies himself as a dancer, but I'm not worried about that.
01:30That wouldn't give me nerves at all, especially after a couple of drinks, that's no problem.
