00:00hello everybody welcome to my channel we need to talk about the digital IDs and I'll read this
00:09stuff and you can also pause it as you see fit rewind or whatever you would like to do but this
00:18is very important everybody's starting to talk about it because of Vietnam and everything and
00:26again of course welcome to my channel Ronald the peculiar one I'm gonna start doing different
00:32types of content besides video games and this is my first time recording on the website using my
00:43program so let's get going on this I'm new to this all right I'm gonna read this stuff this is published
00:51September 3rd 2025 it's over on investopedia it's talking about digital IDs are here while your
01:02physical driver's license might be obsolete soon people are talking about that this could be the
01:09setup of the mark of the beast if you believe in that whether you believe in it or not it's
01:16probably most likely coming so here we go I'm gonna read this all the way through the best
01:23I can and you can fast forward rewind do whatever you like it says at least 20 states allow some
01:32form of digital driver's license although there is no uniform standard key takeaways your smartphone
01:41could replace your wallet sooner than you think as 20 states now accept mobile driver's licenses at
01:48airports and federal agencies unlike physical cards digital IDs can't be counterfeited and changed
01:56like a suspended license can appear instantly most states will still require you to carry physical IDs
02:04because many venues don't have the systems ready to verify their digital versions in many places across
02:14the US you can use your smartphone to legally prove you who you are 21 states have already launched mobile
02:23driver's licenses allowing residents to board flights purchase alcohol and present proof of identity to law
02:33enforcement using just their phones while physical IDs have been standard for decades states are now racing to make
02:42them obsolete you hear that obsolete and a technology to replace them is already on millions of American
02:50smartphones remember the UK is going through this right now Vietnam is completely taken over by this I'm gonna say it garbage
03:02what are digital IDs digital IDs are electronic versions of physical identity documents normally you carry a driver's license passport or state ID around with you with digital IDs these cards or documents are instead stored securely on your smartphone either a standalone
03:25or in your smartphone app or in your Google Samsung or Apple wallets
03:32the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators calls mobile driver's licenses MDLS is the future of licensing and proof of identity arguing that they are harder to lose still damage and counterfeit than physical IDs
03:52and you can read this part here I must keep going it's a lot to get through
03:59proponents of mobile IDs say they're more secure while thieves can steal a smartphone just as easily as a wallet or other personal belongings access in the ID that way becomes harder as most phones are protected by passwords or biometrics
04:19other upgrades over regular IDs include the following convenience digital IDs are stored on devices people always carry around that could mean using your phone to board a plane purchase alcohol interact with law enforcement and so on privacy when you hand over an ID the recipient can view all your personal information displayed on it with digital IDs the
04:49the recipient should in theory only be able to view the information required such as your date of birth
04:56if your purchase and alcohol real-time updates if say your driver's license gets suspended the ID will be updated to reflect that giving you a heads up in case you didn't know
05:12that means complete control savings for state governments turning IDs digital make issuing verifying and updating faster and cheaper okay here are all the states up to current 2025 as you can see up here
05:34where can you use your phone as your driver's license all the blue is available california montana utah arizona colorado new mexico montana iowa illinois
05:49arkansas mississippi kentucky kentucky
05:56kentucky
06:10kentucky
06:32or LS aren't uniform across the country. Some states, including Arkansas,
06:38Louisiana, New York, Utah, Virginia, have their own official apps to store digital ID cards.
06:45Others, meanwhile, support either Google, Apple, or Samsung wallet, all three,
06:53or a combination of either a state app and a commercial alternative.
06:57Why physical licenses aren't yet obsolete. There are still hurdles preventing digital IDs from being
07:06used and accepted everywhere. Of course, they got to work on the other countries first,
07:12and they're working on it quite quickly. Infrastructure not yet there. Even in states
07:19that support digital IDs, most bars, stores, and traffic stops can't verify them. You're still
07:26required to carry your physical license everywhere. Defeating the purpose. For now,
07:32many with digital IDs are those seeking the convenience or early adopters.
07:39Early convenience. Oh, that word. Just listen to that word. Convenience.
07:46Yeah, people getting more lazier, folks.
07:50Legal hurdles. Critical worry about government tracking data breaches and what happens when
07:56your phone dies at the worst moment. Plus, requiring smartphones for basic services
08:02includes millions of Americans who can't afford them or choose not to use them.
08:12See, I'm one of those. I'd rather not use a cell phone or anything like that. I only have one now,
08:19but I think it's going to be temporary and I'll probably end up having it shut off again at some point.
08:29Privacy concerns. Some people worry about how the data could be stored,
08:33shared, or possibly exposed. Nobody agrees on the rules. Without national standards, businesses can't
08:42invest in verification systems that might be obsolete next year.
08:49Say we're almost there. Then they say something about
08:55something 30 and in 2030, they had just some program or something that said be be done by then.
09:03The bottom line, the physical driver's licenses will likely be around for years.
09:11Yeah, right. But their days seem to be numbered. There you go.
09:15The incentives are too strong. States have states save millions on printing costs.
09:21Tech companies strengthen the use of their wallet apps and younger generations expect everything digital.
09:29So if you're under 40, your next license renewal might be your last physical card.
09:37Now, why would it say under 40? So if you're under 40, isn't that four years
09:44or five years for renewal when you get them renewed? So basically 2030.
09:53So they plan on 2030.
10:01And I think that's it. I just wanted to go over that.
10:07It don't look too good. It doesn't look too good, folks. And there's the map again.
10:14The these are all the states that have or will have. Oh, I forgot about Hawaii.
10:20Hawaii right here.
10:24So there you go with that.
10:29And again,
10:32Vietnam is completely well, if you live in Vietnam, I'm going to say it.
10:38I'm going to say it. You're completely screwed.
10:41You're completely screwed right now because.
10:48They've already tested it out in that country.
10:50You're hearing it all over the web.
10:52Everybody's talking about it.
10:54This is not made up, folks.
10:56This is the real deal.
10:57And wait. And this is the real map.
11:01Of what is available now.
11:04Now, all the rest of them that aren't highlighted will be.
11:09Now, this started Obama made this happen.
11:15And I think it started it started a couple of years ago or January 1st.
11:21Could have been this year.
11:22Could have been a couple of years ago.
11:24Now, when it talks about Trump has not.
11:29Did anything.
11:32He'd for not for it.
11:34There's really nothing about it that I know of.
11:37If you if you know more.
11:39Write down in the comments what you think about this.
11:44But this is a problem for everybody.
11:47Just want you to know this.
11:49This will determine.
11:53Complete control.
11:57And they're going to use the word convenience.
12:01Or they're going to pass a mandate, a law.
12:04And they're going to use the immigration.
12:06They're going to use terrorists.
12:08They're going to use whatever they have to to make this go down.
12:13And I want to say it.
12:15Trump is you think he's doing a really great job in certain certain areas.
12:22He might it might seem to be improving.
12:25But it's he's just a businessman.
12:27He makes deals.
12:29And I don't want to say it this way.
12:31But I know he's just a person.
12:35But remember what that saying goes.
12:38The devil is in the details.
12:42There you go.
12:43And so all of this stuff is is approaching to a world control that's not the government's not for you.
12:54And like I said, so society, if you watch that one video, I talk about it.
13:00Society and the world could care less about you.
13:04They'll put you on a pedestal and then they'll knock you off and replace you with somebody more popular and a heartbeat.
13:11And it's in politics, this stuff here.
13:15You need to be paying attention to this because this is very important.
13:20This is going to determine.
13:21What happens to you, the rise in food prices, all these wars, rumors of wars, all these things that are going on are all related matter what you believe.
13:38There's going to be a point where there's going to be a point where there's no denying it, that these things are happening.
13:46Again, they can instantly turn off your banking account.
13:54They can take that digital ID and push a button and make it obsolete like you don't even exist.
14:02And therefore, you become an automatic illegal, even if you have paper documents, proven your birth certificate or your social security card.
14:13It isn't going to matter because all that's going to be obsolete.
14:16So, and according to what this says, right here, if you're under 40, your next license renewal might be your last physical card.
14:34Why would they say under 40 and what, what age was it when you went from two years, three years or four years, remember?
14:46And then you could go to five years.
14:49As you get older, you can do like five.
14:51And then when you get to like 60 some or whatever, it goes from four to or five to four to two.
14:58Every two years, you have to renew your license as you get older up to a certain age.
15:06And then all of a sudden you become a senior citizen.
15:09And then it drops to what, two years you have every two years, which is an inconvenience for older people have to go there every two years to renew it or whatever.
15:20So I just want to share this because it's very important that you know some of this stuff.
15:28So this is the latest thing that I found.
15:31I'm sure you can look it up and find more current stuff.
15:34I'm sure YouTube has current videos, but I wanted to share some of the actual details here in the United States.
15:43And this is the article.
15:46And this is one of the best articles I found when I just kind of scrolled down on the Internet.
15:52It's called Investopedia.
15:57Check it out.
15:59Or you can just look up digital ID.
16:03And I'll bring you to this map right here.
16:08There you go, everybody.
16:11Thank you so much for watching.
16:14I'm changing my content because all I've been doing is playing video games, doing unboxings and stuff like that.
16:19I'm changing it up.
16:21I'm going to do this every once in a while.
16:23I'm going to talk about the latest thing.
16:26Just a little thing like this.
16:28And I hope you enjoyed it.
16:30And this is kind of a warning.
16:34Take it or leave it.
16:36My opinion, my take.
16:38But this is actual facts.
16:40From, well, from looking up the ID, the digital ID stuff here.
16:48And remember, you can rewind it, fast forward, pause it as you see fit to read it yourself.
16:52But I have read basically most of it.
16:57So there you go, everybody.
17:00Thank you so much for watching.
17:01And it's awful when you think about this.
17:05It's just getting out of hand.
17:08The control is real.
17:09And also, I want to talk real quick.
17:11They also find homeless people are disappearing.
17:18All kinds of people are disappearing.
17:20You know, I kind of scrolled YouTube.
17:24And one video was talking about, well, did the rapture start?
17:28Did some people just start disappearing because the rapture started?
17:31Well, that might be clickbait.
17:37But, hey, if you have an open mind, anything is possible in the way things are going.
17:42And this isn't to make you paranoid or anything like that.
17:49I just wanted to share it.
17:51Just in case you didn't.
17:53So if you come across this video, if you like my content, push the thumbs up.
17:57If you want more, push the all button, as in subscribe to my channel.
18:02If you don't like my content, just push the thumbs down.
18:06Check out some more of my videos.
18:09Don't like them?
18:10Well, go ahead and move on to another channel.
18:12But I also want to say one last thing.
18:15If you go to somebody's channel and they're under 1,000 subscribers, go ahead and subscribe to them.
18:21You don't have to push the all for notifications.
18:23Just subscribe to help support them.
18:28Because YouTube is being very difficult for anybody who is not popular or have reached that threshold of over 1,000 subscribers.
18:37It's very difficult for all of us that ain't popular to grow our channels.
18:43But I wanted to share this.
18:46And I'm concerned about it.
18:48Are you?
18:49Leave down in the comments what you think.
18:51All right.
18:52Moving on to the next video, everybody.
18:54Take care of yourselves.
