Characterization by the Sarfus technique of real-time thermal behaviour of Dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) nanometric film (5 to 6nm). DMPC is spin-coated on standard Surf from chloroform solution. By heating the surface up to 50°C, the phospholipids spread out in layers. The spreading kinetics can be easily followed by sequential acquisition. A 3D representation of spreading can also be obtained.
