00:00We're obviously here at the World Cup. Penalty shootout is going to be a thing.
00:04What are your top tips for holding your nerve at the biggest moment of a game?
00:08Yeah, it's difficult. Especially the last couple of years I've struggled with that.
00:11But now I think, you know, I'm just trying to look at the bigger picture.
00:14Of course, at that moment it feels really important.
00:16But I always think, you know, what happens if you're going to lose this match? Not much.
00:20I mean, obviously, in any sport you're doing, in crunch moments, your heart rate goes up a little bit.
00:25You feel your body feel a little bit tingly, and you do feel it.
00:29So I think the most important thing is just staying composed and making sure that you don't, you know,
00:33let your thoughts run away with you a little bit and start thinking negatively.
00:37The similar thing for us is that we've gone for a big, big finish.
00:40So I think you need to have massive composure and take your time, deep breath.
00:45Obviously, take a big deep breath and compose yourself and just relax your body.
00:49Keep your breathing in check to make sure that you don't, like, let your heart go crazy and you're feeling
00:53that nerves too much.
00:54You know, it's, it's, your life still goes on.
00:56So that's how I start looking at it, like, downplay it a little bit for myself and just think about
01:01the bigger picture.
01:02That's what I do.
01:02Look at what you're throwing at and make sure you put it in the right place.
01:06And obviously, I believe it's going to go in the exact same as the goal.
