00:00Israeli authorities said they had deported some of the 473 activists from the Gaza-bound
00:08global Sumud flotilla that was intercepted by Israel's navy at sea.
00:14They released footage of the activists in detention, believed to be in the Katsi Ot prison.
00:19Israel's foreign ministry said procedures are underway to finalize the deportation of
00:24the activists. They said they had already deported four Italians and promised to end
00:30the deportation process as quickly as possible. They said any aid the boats might have carried
00:35could have been peacefully transferred to Gaza in the proper way. They added that all activists
00:40are in good health. On Saturday, Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan said
00:46all the Malaysians from the flotilla are safe and in good condition. He said legal advisors from the
00:52Adela Legal Center, which was appointed by the Missions Operations Center to act as
00:57legal counsel in Israel, had yet to meet the Malaysian activists.

01:43Meanwhile, a vessel carrying doctors and international journalists to observe and document alleged
01:49violations at sea against the flotilla diverted to Larnaka port in Cyprus to avoid being intercepted by Israel.

02:14documenting all the violation that happened in the sea. And in fact, we had to make a
02:19maneuver because we were going to be attacked and kidnapped as well.
02:23The flotilla organizers said Israel had now intercepted all 42 of their vessels that had
02:29embarked on a mission to break the Israeli blockade. They said a new flotilla comprising 11 vessels
02:34was attempting to make its way to Gaza. Protests erupted in different parts of the world,
02:40condemning Israel's interception of the flotilla. Thousands of people took to the streets in
02:46solidarity with the detained and deported activists.
