00:00Stellar numbers being reported by AutoMajors just on the day 1 of Navratri.

00:04That was the first day of GST 2.0 rollout as well because people have been waiting to make the new purchases

00:10to go and book their vehicles as well.

00:13And Marthi Suzuki has come out with a number saying that they haven't seen such a response in the last 35 years.

00:18That's very surprising.

00:20And they've also said that on the very first they have recorded 80,000 inquiries and have already delivered 25,000 cars.

00:27The deliveries are expected to touch 30,000 shortly.

00:32And along with that they have also received 75,000 bookings on the day of the additional reduction announcements.

00:38Because do remember it was not just the difference of from 28 to 18 percent is what the company planned to pass on.

00:44But for some of the smaller vehicles the discounts were as high as 24 percent.

00:50And that's what getting the excitement back in the small car segment.

00:53Along with that the company is also saying that nearly 15,000 bookings are coming every day.

00:58That is 50 percent higher than usual post the price reduction announcement.

01:02And the demand for small cars especially that remains to be quite very high.

01:06The inquiries are very healthy as of now.

01:08And that's compared to last year.

01:10The overall response is exceptionally strong is what the company is highlighting.

01:15And along with that even Hyundai Motors has come out with the announcement saying that just on the day 1

01:19they have recorded 11,000 dealer billings.

01:23That's one of their highest single day performance in the last 5 years.

01:27And along with that they are also saying that this is a clear testament of a robust festival sentiment

01:31and consumer confidence.

01:33And going ahead they are anticipating sustained festive demand as well.

01:37So both the auto majors have come out with a very stellar booking numbers just on the day 1.

01:42And they continue to be optimistic on the bookings and the inquiries going ahead.
