00:00I think the first thing I want to say is being attacked because of your identity, because of your faith, is particularly ghastly, particularly intrusive.
00:09And the horrific events in Manchester, the way they understandably ripple across Jewish communities, is of deep concern to me and all my colleagues in the police.
00:18And of course, we've got half of Britain's Jewish population here in London.
00:23So what we're doing here and colleagues across the country are doing is we're putting extra patrols out because we need to reassure and protect.
00:32In a moment like this, after a terrorist attack, even in the absence of intelligence, you have to be vigilant.
00:37You have to be vigilant because of the risk of copycats and reprisals and those sorts of events.
00:41And I'm not looking to scare anybody, but we should all face into that being a small possibility, even in the absence of intelligence, I say.
00:48So we're putting more patrols out over the weekend.
