00:59Skill Up, Stay Grounded, that is, thriving in life without losing your fates.

01:05Now let's talk about something real.

01:24How do you keep growing in your skills, professionally, creatively, even academically, while staying

01:31grounded in your work with God?

01:33In today's world, there's a heavy push-up to skill up, new courses, new tech, new hostels.

01:41And don't get me wrong, it's a blessing to be able to grow, to learn, to add value.

01:46But in all that moment and momentum, have you ever paused and asked, am I still growing spiritually

01:52or am I just getting busy?

01:55The truth is, we can grow in skills and strength in spirit if we are not careful.

02:00God is not anti-growth.

02:02In fact, look at the parable of the talents in Matthew 25.

02:06The servant who multiplied his talents was praised.

02:10God loves when we develop what he has placed in our hands.

02:13But what he doesn't want is for the gifts to overshadow the giver.

02:17It's not just about success.

02:19It's about staying rooted while you rise.

02:21So how do you thrive without drifting?

02:25Number one, start your day in the spirit.

02:28Not just on Sundays.

02:29Set the tone with prayer, scripture and worship.

02:33Number two, integrate.

02:35Don't separate.

02:36Let your work and your worship coexist.

02:39Bring God into your learning and creativity.

02:42And three, guard your motives.

02:44Are you building for purpose or just performance?

02:46Is this growth aligned with your calling or feeding your ego?

02:50I know a brother who is now a certified tech consultant.

02:53But he said one thing never changed.

02:55Before every project or meeting, he would whisper a prayer.

02:58That kept him grounded.

03:00Even when the checks came, his foundation stayed in Christ.

03:03Remember, the moment your skill starts leading your spirit,

03:07it becomes a risk instead of a resource.
