00:05following the Budi 95 fuel subsidy rollout on Tuesday.

00:09Several recipients of the subsidy interviewed by FMT

00:13praised the initiative as a great idea from the government

00:16that directly benefits the rakyat.

00:18In my opinion, people say it's the best for the rakyat to do this problem

00:23because they can reduce the burden of the rakyat in the current age.

00:29Malaysians will save up to RM183 a month under the Budi 95 subsidy

00:34paying RM1.99 per litre for up to 300 litres of Ron 95 petrol

00:39with foreigners and other ineligible buyers charged RM2.60.

00:44Wendy Teh, a salesperson who drives a new Toyota Vios

00:48welcomed the Budi 95 program.

00:51Yeah, sure, sure, I will have a lot of sewing

00:53because I'm a runner outside.

00:55I will travel to the northern area because I'm in the sales line.

00:59Hazim Qadri, a Shopee employee, was delighted to get more fuel

01:02for the same amount spent.
