00:00I'm a journalist with words.
00:02I'm about to cut, bro.
00:03Sit back.
00:04Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:09No, no, no.
00:10He's very generous.
00:12Our friend Dan Daly.
00:13Very generous.
00:14No, you're right.
00:14You're right.
00:15This is the crossover.
00:16Let's welcome in Mark Willard and Dan Dibley.
00:19And speaking of generosity, Dan, let me thank you again for last Friday.
00:24Dan?
00:25Yeah, let me thank you again for last Friday.
00:27Yeah, you're welcome.
00:27It was your birthday.
00:28So, Gu, just to tell the listeners.
00:31And I've already thanked him.
00:33I know where you're going.
00:34Right.
00:34I'll beat you to it.
00:35Okay.
00:36So, they still park over in an area where we go near the ship.
00:40Yep.
00:40Yep.
00:41Yeah.
00:42And so, Dibs was parking.
00:44And on Friday, he went in at 12 o'clock.
00:47Yeah.
00:48Because he works at 2 as he's walking up to the station.
00:51He walks in.
00:51He greets Lindsey.
00:53And he says, hey, my name's Dan Dibley.
00:56And, you know, I want to buy a drink for Stiney.
00:59It's his birthday.
01:00And Guru is going to be coming in.
01:02And so, when they get here at 2.30, the first one's on me.
01:05And Dibs, in fairness, bought me two.
01:09One for my birthday.
01:10And he bought you one just for a regular day.
01:12My God.
01:12Yeah.
01:13So, thank you so much.
01:14You're welcome.
01:15I sent you a picture of it.
01:16You both did.
01:17The story behind the story is I walked in.
01:20And I, yeah, can I help you?
01:22I said, yeah.
01:22Do you know Matt Steinmetz?
01:24And she looked at me.
01:25Huh?
01:26And I said, they come here on Friday a lot.
01:29She's like, oh, you mean Stiney?
01:31I'm like, yes, I mean Stiney.
01:33Right.
01:33Thank God.
01:34I just had an experience with this.
01:36Willard just taught me.
01:37I'm not going to tell everybody where we're going because the crowds will overwhelm you, Stiney.
01:41But some of us would like to partake in maybe watching a certain football game after work tonight.
01:48So, there's a spot in the area.
01:51And I did a little pregame show.
01:52And I popped my head in.
01:54And I said, look, I know you don't take reservations.
01:56But, you know, we'd like to think that we're a big deal.
01:59And so, I wonder if, I don't know, could you put a few seats aside for somebody who might be coming in hot?
02:03Look at him.
02:04You know, like, can't come in early.
02:06Right.
02:06Well, it turns out, as soon as I said what we do, the person who runs this bar goes, oh, Matt came by the other day to already talk about this.
02:18And I went, oh, he did?
02:20Matt?
02:20He goes, yeah, like, some of you all might be coming.
02:24And, you know, we'll try.
02:25We'll do our best to put some stuff aside.
02:27And I go, oh, okay.
02:29I didn't know he was coming.
02:30And he goes, yeah, well, he, Matt usually gets here around 3 o'clock every day.
02:37And my mind the whole time is on our boss, Matt Nahagian.
02:41Wow.
02:42And I go, this mother jumper during our show is going drinking every day at 3 o'clock?
02:50We don't get out of here until 6, Matt.
02:53Right.
02:53And then they kept talking until I finally realized, oh, he's talking about Matt Steinmetz.
03:00Ah, yeah.
03:00We call him Steiny.
03:01That's not Matt.
03:03No.
03:03The same way you're not damn.
03:05Right.
03:05We don't do that.
03:06But anyway, okay, I got it.
03:08So maybe the other Matt will put a seat aside tonight.
03:12We'll see.
03:13Nice.
03:13We'll find out.
03:14But here's the bigger issue.
03:16And thank you, Dibbs.
03:16That was me.
03:17Guys, you're welcome.
03:18It was one of those moments where I was walking by and I was like, you know what?
03:21I'm going to do something nice for my guy.
03:23Because, you know, you and I, we used to spend a ton of time together.
03:27Then I went and had a baby.
03:29And, well, you didn't.
03:30I thought it'd be cool if you did too, but you didn't.
03:33And so our worlds have not really converged like they used to.
03:38So I thought it'd be a nice time to do something nice for you.
03:40And I'm just that now, this is, it's just a wonderful point I'll be able to make,
03:47a comparison, if you will.
03:49You know, on Friday, you were at a bar talking to the bartender.
03:52And you bought Guru and I a couple drinks ahead of time.
03:55Yep.
03:55Yep.
03:56Willard, you had the same opportunity.
03:58Can I assume that I'll be dropping into that place?
04:02And there'll be an upside down shot glass tonight.
04:04Mark Willard said, hey, this is for my co-worker Steiner.
04:07I mean, basically what we're talking about here in life is paying it forward, right?
04:11And so this show has already paid it forward to you.
04:14And seeing as you go drinking every day at three o'clock, I know that.
04:18I was wondering if maybe it would be the other way around.
04:22Maybe I'd walk into an old-fashioned in the first quarter today.
04:27Noted.
04:28Okay.
04:29Again, just a maybe.
04:31Just a maybe.
04:31You know, it's always good to look at things from a different perspective.
04:34And I wasn't even thinking of that one.
04:36I bet you were.
04:37This is so funny.
04:38She goes, you know, I try to run my slow play my drinking.
04:41Sure, sure.
04:41I'm going to start out with a beer or a shot.
04:43And then she goes, well, you got a free one.
04:44Give me the big margarita.
04:47Somebody give me the big one.
04:48Give me the deluxe.
04:49I shared the story with my wife.
04:52And I'm like, yeah, you know, my guy, the birthday boy, got shot in a beer.
04:57And then she's like, what did Guru get?
04:58I said, he got a margarita.
05:00She's like, he got a margarita?
05:02Margarita.
05:02I said, he got a margarita.
05:04Nothing wrong with that.
05:04No, the margarita is a staple.
05:08It's solid.
05:09You can go margarita virtually anywhere.
05:12And yeah, that made me feel good.
05:15And I don't want to be too selfish about it, but I did it for me because it made me feel good.
05:20That's what it's about.
05:21I mean, it's for you, Stiney, your birthday.
05:23And, you know, Goo, you got the draft off of that.
05:25But I was like, you know what?
05:26This makes me feel good.
05:29And, you know, so I put 30 on the card and then I get the charge back and it's like 32.85.
05:37And I'm like, okay, of course, you had to hit me with that 4% surcharge and this and then that.
05:42And I threw in a little extra for the tip.
05:44And I was like, 30 is not even 30 anymore, Stiney.
05:47It was 32.85 because, you know, the 4% SF tax and, you know, the hospitality and whatever else.
05:54You need a couple?
05:55I'm good.
05:56I'm good.
05:57I took care of Lindsey, too.
05:58A little fin on the backside.
06:00I actually kind of like the whole city tax thing, whatever is confusing.
06:04But we dined last night at a certain spot in the city that just put the damn tip on that.
06:09Yep, 20%.
06:10Oh, wow.
06:11And actually, no, as a server, I was like, I kind of wish that that had just been that way all along.
06:18Like, I wasn't bothered by it.
06:19It would be nicer if you highlight it because I bet that they make a killing on people who do not realize.
06:26That is gangster.
06:27So I will say this.
06:28When the bill comes, it says additional tip.
06:32Additional tip.
06:33So if you're going to write more tip in there, it does say additional tip.
06:37But, you know, people are drinking.
06:40They're not paying attention.
06:41They're having conversations.
06:42I'm like, ooh, this it is.
06:44It's gangster.
06:45I'm like, you guys are double dipping at least 20% of the time.
06:50Right.
06:50For sure.
06:5020% on that 20%.
06:52Exactly.
06:53Well played.
06:54And what about reduced tip?
06:55So they hit you with the 20.
06:57And what if the service was not 20% worthy?
07:00There's no line item where you can go, you know what, I'm going to go ahead and take 5% off of that because you stunk, waitress or waiter.
07:06I would bet that, and what I would hope, I would hope that establishments are now, like, more aware of when the service isn't going well.
07:14And then just do something right there on the spot.
07:17In fact, one of the dishes that we ordered last night, it never showed up.
07:21Oh, boy.
07:21She forgot.
07:22Oh.
07:22She was delightful, but she forgot.
07:24When she realized she forgot, she's like, oh, my gosh, we're going to do a 911 on that order.
07:29And, by the way, here come two free glasses of champagne.
07:33Okay.
07:33Now we're talking.
07:34Yeah.
07:34We're fine.
07:35Which is, I love it.
07:35Yeah, we're good here.
07:35And it was a celebration sensation for Mark and the lovely Christy.
07:39Yeah, versary.
07:39It was either their hug-a-versary or their hand-hold-a-versary or their date-a-versary.
07:45We did this yesterday.
07:46He's jealous.
07:47No, no, no.
07:48It might have been the first time that we versaried.
07:50It was your Mike Green-a-versary?
07:52Oh.
07:53I don't know.
07:53I don't even remember.
07:54Yeah.
07:54Whatever.
07:55It was their date-a-versary.
07:56Okay.
07:56And so he said it yesterday on the air, and I'm not, you know, I'm not talking out of
08:01school because I've said this to both of them before.
08:03Like, they're both adorable and nauseating with how much they love each other.
08:08And, yeah.
08:08But it was their date-a-versary.
08:09It's true love.
08:10Blah, blah, blah.
08:11Great.
08:12Talk to me in 40 years.
08:13We went to China Live.
08:14Have you ever been over there?
08:16It's on Broadway.
08:17Okay.
08:17It's phenomenal.
08:18China Live.
08:19China Live.
08:20It's a restaurant.
08:21Gosh, it's delicious.
08:22The restaurant?
08:23Yeah.
08:23I need TVs or screens.
08:26No screens.
08:26I need TVs.
08:27No, that's why you go on a Wednesday, group.
08:30That's why you go on a Wednesday.
08:32Yeah.
08:32I mean, like, I'm not.
08:35I need a screen anywhere I go.
08:35I can look you in the eye on a Wednesday.
08:38Yeah.
08:38I'm like, what do you want to talk about?
08:39I got all night.
08:41So tonight, if you guys happen to go out, like.
08:44Which we will.
08:45Yeah.
08:45She's coming.
08:46She's joining Matt.
08:47Neither one of you is going to look at each other.
08:49You're going to be at the spot.
08:51We might be across from each other, each looking over each other's shoulders.
08:54Exactly.
08:55Does any one of you think they can win this game?
08:57We just took the call.
08:57It's a football game, of course.
08:59But listen, we took one of the first in my history of doing this.
09:02The guy called.
09:04He was being sincere.
09:06He said he didn't want the Niners to win because of this angle.
09:10The noise that would be.
09:13Oh, the quarterback thing.
09:15Mack Jones.
09:16I go, son.
09:17He was grown.
09:18I wanted to say, son.
09:19We're so far.
09:20Win the game.
09:21But he really threw.
09:22Stiney heard him.
09:24He was like, I don't want that to happen.
09:26Alex Cap all over.
09:27This ain't that.
09:29You just get the win.
09:30No, go ahead, Stiney.
09:32Go ahead, Matt.
09:33So, then Guru says, that will never happen.
09:39That's just me?
09:40What would never happen?
09:41That.
09:42A controversy.
09:43Well, Brock just got paid.
09:45No, well, what do you mean by, are you mean that there wouldn't?
09:47The fans might say something.
09:48Of course they would.
09:49But this is his baby.
09:51Oh, my God.
09:52$265 million.
09:54But no, what I'm saying is, somebody called and said, you know, look what happened with Alex
10:01Smith and Cap, but just to boil it down, of course there were extenuating circumstances,
10:07but Alex Smith got hurt, and Kaepernick was dynamic, and then Smith got healthy, and there
10:16was a decision that Harbaugh made.
10:18Period.
10:19End of story.
10:20One of my favorite press conferences ever.
10:22So, you know, then we had Jimmy Garoppolo, and he was destined, or had the chance to be
10:28the franchise quarterback.
10:31So, why isn't he here five years later?
10:34It was a combination of performance and durability.
10:37Yeah, totally.
10:38So, who knows what can happen?
10:41I'm not saying, it's not all going to happen this week.
10:43Right.
10:43Or anytime soon.
10:45Yeah, but, you know, I mean.
10:47Sure, it could happen someday.
10:48It could happen someday.
10:49But then we got into, okay, they go down there and win, 30-13.
10:55Which would be wow for, if, go ahead.
10:58And now, now, now people are saying, or people, you know, the discussion is, well, now hold
11:03about Tampa Bay.
11:06You know what I mean?
11:07I mean, like, I don't know, like, I don't know how you handle it, is all I'm saying.
11:12Um, as long as Brock's healthy, he plays.
11:16But now you have to define the word healthy, which is what, which is what I feel like.
11:21I mean, you guys have spent a lot of time on that this week.
11:23And I don't know how, I don't know how you do that.
11:26Because we don't know what happened for him to get on the field last Sunday, right?
11:29Yeah.
11:30Hey, Brock, can you go?
11:30Okay, you can go.
11:32Supposedly, he felt great.
11:33So, um, but when Brock Purdy's healthy, Brock Purdy will play.
11:38No matter what Mac Jones has done.
11:41But, but you guys aren't wrong.
11:42I mean, if he goes and carves him up.
11:45But what does that mean?
11:46Here's where, here's where I'm very little.
11:48If he carves him up tonight, 300 yards, three touchdowns, they win by double digits.
11:52It's a laughable idea, but it's a football game.
11:54It's allowed to happen.
11:56Coyne Detmer did it to the 49ers one time in this same situation.
11:59But here's where I'm, I'm way more literal.
12:02If, uh, let's say they win the game and the 49ers are like, you know, this toe, let's put,
12:10we're going to put him on the injured list for four games.
12:13Oh, I are?
12:14Yeah.
12:14Okay.
12:14And then Mac Jones is knocking it out of the park.
12:18You know, like, I always look at, well, is it, I guess it's possible.
12:22Then what do you do?
12:23Week 11, Brock's raring to go dibs.
12:26You go to Brock and the big difference between the Kaepernick Smith and this one is Harbaugh
12:32did not draft Alex Smith.
12:34He drafted one.
12:36I mean, it was Trent Baalke, but that was their guy.
12:39That was Harbaugh's guy was Kaepernick.
12:42So, you know, you got to that spot and I just was looking at the game log and, uh, Alex Smith
12:47got concussed and they tied the Rams and they went to six, two and one and he had a concussion.
12:53And so Cap came out and won the next two, bop, bop.
12:56And by the time Alex was cleared, Cap was rolling.
12:59And so you stayed with Cap.
13:00That was their guy anyway.
13:02And remember they used a second round pick on Kaepernick.
13:04This is different where, you know, and Mark, you've told the story many times where Shanahan
13:09said in camp to Jed York, you know, our, our QB three is actually the best guy that we
13:16have.
13:16And so when he's healthy, he plays no matter what, in my opinion, you're listening to 95
13:23seven, the game KGMZ FM and HD one, San Francisco and odyssey sports station, always live on the
13:28free odyssey app and now broadcasting from the laughing monk studio, but hosting sports
13:33radio will be annoying.
13:34And that's for sure.
13:36Not annoying.
13:36You know what I mean?
13:37I'm joking.
13:38That's where that.
13:39Oh my God.
13:40Oh, that'll be, that'll be all over the place.
13:43It kind of already is.
13:44And that's after he lost one game, one.
13:50And I don't want to throw shade at Mac Jones.
13:51No, you're right.
13:51He lost one game.
13:53But Mac Jones threw that pick against Arizona that, so it wasn't all Picasso for Mac Jones.
13:58You got the win.
13:59Of course it's not.
13:59But I remember that vividly, like, whoa, you're human, you know, it looked like New England
14:05Mac just, you got the dub, but it wasn't 500 yards, no touchdowns, and five touchdowns.
14:11And if you look at the analytics, the numbers, whatever, Mac Jones has been a lot worse than
14:17Brock Purdy.
14:18They've each played two games, and like the EPA, the expected points added for each, Brock
14:24Purdy's been much better than Mac Jones.
14:27Mac's 2-0, Brock's 1-1, so unless Mac goes out and has, you know, a near perfect game,
14:34Brock Purdy's still going to be, statistically, the better quarterback this year.
14:38I mean, y'all want to talk about, well, yeah, that's true.
14:41I mean, if you want to go advanced metrics.
14:43If you want to go EPA.
14:44But like, really?
14:46Like, you don't want to know what the Niners need to do tonight?
14:49Eh, run the ball.
14:51What the hell are we doing?
14:52And it's going to be home.
14:53What are we doing, and what are we talking about?
14:57Like, they're the worst, they're one of the worst running teams in the league.
15:02I got it.
15:02And people got nerve, and we just had a guy, Nick Hamilton, on from Nightcastle Media in
15:07L.A.
15:08I asked him about McCaffrey, and I feel like I'm crazy.
15:12The world turned on Drake.
15:14He used to be the man, and they turned on him.
15:15Well, okay.
15:16They told him, everybody's so quick to say, I asked Nick about McCaffrey.
15:21What did he say?
15:21Oh, I think he's lost his step.
15:23And that's just becoming, to me, not everybody, the trendy thing to say.
15:27But how can you judge that?
15:28Because when I saw that lateral he got from Peerthal, I saw the burst to me.
15:34But there's nowhere to run, and I'm not company guy to say if he was slipping, I would say it.
15:41I don't see that, and the run game is exhibit A of there's nowhere to run.
15:46There's nowhere to go.
15:46How can you say he's slowing down?
15:48Can I ask you guys to reboot a conversation I vaguely remember all of us having last year?
15:53Or do you all still think that Debo has lost a step?
15:58I haven't seen him play this year.
16:00He's having a great year.
16:02Having a great year.
16:03I put him in his coffin too soon.
16:06So, it's another example, and I get that in sports fandom and sports media, there's no room for this.
16:14I don't know how we're supposed to have an opinion of, well, I got to see what's going on with everybody on the field.
16:21And everything that's, like, it bores people to tears.
16:24But the truth of the matter is, this affects everybody.
16:27Whatever's going on with the team, who's blocking, who's healthy, how are things rolling, it affects everyone.
16:35It affects the receivers, it affects the quarterbacks, and it clearly affects even Hall of Fame-level talent.
16:41Has Christian McCaffrey lost a step?
16:43Who cares if he's lost a hair?
16:44He's fine.
16:45But he's being hit quicker than any running back in the entire NFL.
16:49Is that because of Kittle?
16:51Or is that too much to say about Kittle?
16:53It doesn't help, but I don't think it's by himself.
16:55I think Trent maybe has lost a step.
16:57And the offensive line as a whole has not been great.
17:01Dominic Poonie is not playing well.
17:03He's in a sophomore slump or not healthy or something.
17:05But, like, all these things are all, there's such a trickle-down effect on a football field.
17:11And then we pick an individual and get mad at them.
17:14Right.
17:14And just, they got to run the ball.
17:18If they run the ball, they're going to be a really good football team.
17:21They'll be a hard team to beat.
17:22Yep.
17:23But they won't be able to run the ball.
17:25Because if you look at the expected points added, the EPA that I referenced, Diney, they are 30th of 32 in expected points added.
17:35And that means, on a standard run, what do you do versus what the league average is?
17:40And they don't do very well.
17:41And it's not because Christian's lost a step.
17:44And you mentioned it, like, on the hook and lateral, he's explosive.
17:48And, you know, on other plays, he looks like he has that burst.
17:51But your burst doesn't matter when you get hit.
17:54And I think Greg Cosell had it yesterday.
17:56He's averaging 1.8 yards per carry before the first contact.
18:01And he's not Earl Campbell, my friends.
18:04So, I guess what I'm saying is, you know, they got to run the ball tonight.
18:07And you're like, they can't.
18:08Or they won't.
18:09They won't.
18:10They could.
18:10Like, yeah, that's kind of allowed to.
18:13Well, of course they are.
18:14And Kyle Shanahan's allowed to draw up running schemes that may deceive the Rams, right?
18:21Sure.
18:22Right.
18:22I mean, it's possible.
18:25It is.
18:26But if you think about the run game and you think about who are the best non-linemen who block,
18:32and you would think about Juszczyk, okay.
18:35And he, last year he wasn't great.
18:37And this year he's about the same.
18:39Kittle's not playing.
18:41Jennings is not playing.
18:42He's also a great run blocker.
18:44Well, this is, this is where, like, I think it is, well, it's obviously harder in football
18:50to tell if a guy played well as it is in baseball or basketball.
18:53That's not even close for the general positions.
18:55But as far as, as far as the lines go, I'd love to know the discrepancy between, you know,
19:02the Rams.
19:03Because, okay, Colton McKivitt, he can have a great game.
19:07Yep.
19:07Like, what if he has a career game?
19:09Whatever that looks like for a guy like him.
19:11Right.
19:11We'll never, like, we'll kind of never know.
19:15But if the guy he's playing against is so much better that even if he has a great game,
19:19it's, you know what I mean?
19:20Like, could the Niners' offensive line play great tonight?
19:24They could.
19:25And outplay some players who are better than them.
19:27How often do you hear styles make fights?
19:30And I actually remember a game between these two teams, it was either two or three years
19:33ago, and everybody was really, really worried because the Rams had Aaron Donald, and the
19:39Niners had an interior injury on the offensive line, and they turned to somebody nobody had
19:44ever heard of named Justin School.
19:46Do you guys remember Justin School?
19:47Yeah.
19:47Oh, yeah.
19:48Okay, and everyone was like, this is, this is, wow, what a recipe for disaster.
19:52Aaron Donald is going to feast.
19:54Aaron Donald never touched the quarterback the entire night, and the Niners blew the Rams,
20:00I don't know if they blew them out, but they handily won the football game.
20:04Justin School against Aaron Donald.
20:06I have no idea what's going to happen tonight.
20:08Every single time when someone, there's an NFL game when someone's like, does X team have
20:14a chance?
20:14I don't know, have you ever been in a survivor pool before?
20:16Absolutely.
20:18Right.
20:18Saints had the ball in Buffalo last week, down by five in the second half.
20:25I want the ball in their hands.
20:27Fifteen and a half point underdog.
20:29Fumble.
20:30So, yeah, of course the Niners can play tonight.
20:34Probably not.
20:35Well, they're going to play tonight.
20:36No.
20:37And you're going to give your pick, right?
20:38Because I'm riding with you.
20:39Yeah, and the pick is in, and as the number keeps going up.
20:43He's half-stepping on this one.
20:44I'm glad you're addressing this.
20:46Well, and you know what, Simon, I heard you earlier, and you were wrong, and you're out
20:51of line, because I'm 16-3 this year, and I corrected him via text.
20:57Yeah, and I said this wrong.
20:5818-3 was wrong.
20:59First of all, you thought that I was Karen Ghibli on the YouTube, and you were wrong, and
21:05then your little story about texting your wife, partner, instead of Carter Chickering, just
21:13shows that you're kind of off your game when it comes to things like, I don't know, facts.
21:18So, get some facts and come back to see me.
21:21I'm hot, baby.
21:2216-3.
21:23You better recognize.
21:24Who said you were 18-3, and I said, I don't think he's that good, but he's been great.
21:29What time are you giving out the pick?
21:30So, Mary, let's do it at, let's do it at, let's do it at 440.
21:36440, huh?
21:37Or 448?
21:38450, yeah.
21:39450.
21:40Yeah.
21:40450.
21:41And the pick is finally in, and it's because, in part, I'm going up against Grandy in fantasy.
21:47Oh, wow.
21:48I'm 2-2.
21:49Yeah, and I have the Rams kicker, so I'm not going to try to spoil the pick with that nugget,
21:54but, yeah, Grandy's afraid of my kicker.
21:57Yeah.
21:58I ain't afraid of anything.
22:01Grandy and I are on cloud nine this week.
22:03Don't try to take it from us.
22:05Why?
22:05What's happening?
22:06Because his Oregon Ducks beat my least favorite college football team, Penn State.
22:13You're welcome, Stiney.
22:14Yeah, I love you, buddy.
22:15Okay, I love you.
22:16I love you, too, Stiney.
22:16I owe you.
22:18How's Tulane doing?
22:20They're 4-1.
22:20Okay.
22:22Yeah, that's where his daughter goes.
22:24I know.
22:24I'm aware.
22:25I'm aware.
22:25I mean, for the audience.
22:26Yeah.
22:26You know, for the audience.
22:28It's kind of random that you'd be a Tulane fan.
22:29I think Lehigh's 5-0.
22:32I'll check.
22:33No, I think they are.
22:34The Will knows.
22:35Yeah.
22:35I'll tell you what.
22:36How do you know that?
22:37I'll tell you what.
22:37Because their alma mater.
22:38Because Christy's brother coach is there.
22:40Come on.
22:40I'll buy you a beer if you know the Lehigh nickname.
22:44Huskies.
22:45Nope.
22:46Wildcats is always a safe bet.
22:48What was it, Grandy?
22:49He should have gotten my ear on.
22:49That's why I asked.
22:50It's a tough one.
22:51You know Grandy?
22:52I don't.
22:54Dibs knows.
22:54No, I don't.
22:55I really don't.
22:56I thought you were an expert on that.
22:58I mean, no.
22:59My guess would be Highlanders, but I know it's not right.
23:02Highlanders.
23:02That's like crazy things.
23:04Or Musketeers.
23:04Mountain Hawk.
23:06I thought it was the Engineers.
23:08Oh, boy.
23:08Oh, boy.
23:09You can't ask a trivia question if you don't know.
23:11Like I said it with a question mark.
23:12You may have changed it.
23:13Yeah.
23:14I don't know.
23:15Talk amongst yourselves.
23:17Mountain Hawks.
23:17It's Mountain Hawks.
23:18Is it Mountain Hawks?
23:19Yep.
23:19Confirmed.
23:20Okay.
23:20Hold on.
23:21Mountain Hawks.
23:21Now let me see if it was checked.
23:23I haven't been to Lehigh in about 35 years.
23:26Well, the university lists all three nicknames.
23:29Engineers, Brown and White, and Mountain Hawks.
23:31And Mountain Hawks.
23:32And it's media guys.
23:32Yeah.
23:32Okay.
23:33Okay.
23:33Which one's current though, or do they just rotate month to month?
23:37Woo!
23:38Yeah.
23:38Thanks, Randy.
23:39Again.
23:40Mountain Hawks.
23:41Man.
23:41Mountain Hawks.
23:42But engineers, it was like a, what do they call them?
23:46The alternate uniform.
23:47They might break it out.
23:48I don't know if I would go to a school where the mascot was the engineers.
23:53Yeah.
23:53I went to a school where the mascot was the...
23:54Friday night sounds fun there.
23:56Lamb went to a school where the mascot was being a diplomat.
23:59Oh.
24:00Yeah.
24:00I'm a Franklin and Marshall diplomat.
24:02See, and I don't find you very diplomatic.
24:04Eh, you'd be surprised at how I can weasel out of things.
24:07I know how you weasel out of this segment every day.
24:09Speaking of which, one thing a diplomat,
24:12Matt will do is when he seeks, or when he sees high tension,
24:16high energy, and he's like, hey, he backs out.
24:19And he does it on 95-7 the game.
24:20We'll see you at the bar, Matt.
24:22We'll see you at the bar, Matt.
