00:00I'll tell you again, that's probably not going to matter about playoff seeding.
00:02That's Detroit absolutely beating down the Cincinnati Bengals.
00:05But as we know, lines are there for a reason.
00:08The public can't get enough for Detroit.
00:09The future look ahead line was seven and a half.
00:11It's ballooned up to 10 and a half at just about every outlet and a total 48 and a half.
00:16The question for me never was like, okay, Joe Burrow is going to be injured,
00:19but Jake Brown is a capable backup.
00:21Are we saying they can see the same heights that they saw with Joe Burrow?
00:24No, but you expected Joe, a competent offense.
00:26Now they're incompetent on offense and defense at the same time.
00:30And Detroit is notoriously headhunting football teams that can't compete
00:35and will happily bust 50 on a team.
00:37The question is, do they run away with this game enough to be a double-digit favorite
00:41on the road outside the dome, Joe?
00:44Well, of course they do.
00:46And again, I'll say this.
00:48I like this Detroit defense more than I like their offense.
00:53I think the defense is better this year than the offense.
00:57And I think the defense is going to, again, make it almost impossible for the Bengals
01:01to run the ball.
01:02They only allow 3.8 yards per carry this defense,
01:05which means Jake Browning is going to have to beat you with his arm.
01:09Yeah, good luck with that.
01:10Don't see that happening here.
01:12I would split it in half, though, because I think Detroit punches first.
01:16I think them in the first half is a good look,
01:18because I think this game is over by the time the third quarter comes.
01:22And then it's going to be a whole lot of running and keep away.
01:24So yeah, Detroit early for me in this one.
