00:00So I did an Alhamdulillah for the award and I want to thank my dad who came up with me actually 47 years ago.
00:06So the forefathers, I think we should get a round of applause. We will be here if it wasn't for them.
00:14Massive thank you to all our customers who are supporting us. It's teamwork so I want the staff as well.
00:20I want to thank the catering service. I did come out a few years ago and asked the judges and everybody.
00:27I kept in contact and they were like starting to get a bit again and really building me up again.
00:32So I'm really glad to be here. And lastly I just want to thank my beloved Gorsmeh Football Club.

00:47So my name is Faz Ahmed. I'm from the Yakash South Sea.
00:51And we're at the Meridian Grand in London where I've just been crowned Chef of the Year, Creative Chef of the Year.
00:58So it means a lot to us because we're always representing our city.
01:01This is going on Bangladesh international channel.
01:06So we get recognition from Portsmouth because our restaurant has won Creative Chef of the Year.
01:11It always means a lot. We always mention Portsmouth where we can because we want our city to get the recognition for the best food outlets, for the best of everything.
01:20So I did go and stage my acceptance speech. I said play out Pompey and thank you everybody from Portsmouth for supporting us.
01:27The plan is to win every single career awards there is. Represent our city now.
01:31But on a serious note we're just, there's no major plans but we're just going to keep going at these awards.
01:36There's a lot and we're going to try and win wherever we can and represent our city.
01:41Thanks to my dad who started the restaurant 47 years ago.
