00:00Don't expect the next days to be easy. This is a high risk mission. Those of us on the sea team are aware of the risk of attack, interception, long-term imprisonment and other violations threatened by the Zionist Israeli regime.
00:17I'm sending this message from a boat that's part of the Global Cemetery Flotilla, sailing to Gaza with aid to try and settle humanitarian aid corridor Gaza and to break the siege that's been ongoing for many years.
00:31I'm here because I can sail. The flotilla were looking for people. I applied and they accepted me and I left home on the 24th of August and through to Barcelona where we spent a week on the dock getting our boats ready to sail.
00:45We set sail on the 31st of August towards Gaza. Our first night through a crazy thunderstorm which I actually quite enjoyed but my shipmates mostly were sick and terrified and our boats stood up to the battering really well.
01:00We've had lots of unplanned stops and setbacks since then. Burocratic hold-ups, technical difficulties for some of the boats, bad weather like I said and also several attacks on our vessels.
01:12But we're still here and we're determined to continue our mission to open a humanitarian aid corridor to Gaza.
