00:00James Evans.
00:02Thank you, Poseidon Officer. Almost 94% of Welsh firms are family-owned.
00:07They are the backbone of our high streets across my constituency and I'm sure other members' constituency.
00:13Yet, instead of supporting them, Labour's tax addiction is crippling them.
00:19We already suffered with the highest business rates in Great Britain.
00:22Now we have businesses facing higher employer national insurance and raids on business property relief.
00:29What does this mean? It means less investment, fewer jobs and more boarded up shops in our town centre.
00:37You talk a good game about regeneration, First Minister.
00:40Well, in reality, the only thing that Labour deliver is higher taxation.
00:44So will you, First Minister, join us on these benches in calling for these damaging taxes to be reversed
00:51so we can show that Wales is open for business and give our family firms the backing that they deserve?
00:58I cannot believe the Tories are giving us lessons on taxation.
01:05The highest tax burden in 70 years under your watch.
01:11We are serious about making sure that we are in a position where we can pay for our local services,
01:20that we invest in our communities and that's what we're doing.
01:24Jane Dodds.
01:25Good afternoon, First Minister. You've heard lots of comments.
