00:00EU leaders are meeting in Denmark amid growing concerns over drone incursions and Russia's war in Ukraine.
00:08On the table is a proposal for a drone wall across Europe, using a network of sensors and weapons to detect, track and neutralise unmanned aircraft.
00:17It comes just days after drone intrusions forced the temporary closure of Danish airports.
00:23France, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom have deployed troops and anti-drone systems to help Denmark secure the summit.
00:36Several European governments have accused Russia of violating their airspace, pointing to drones over Poland and fighter jets over Estonia.
00:44Moscow, however, has denied any responsibility for the drones in Denmark, rejected claims that its jets entered Estonian airspace and insisted it did not send drones into Poland.
00:56Also on the agenda during the summit is a debate on using Russian assets frozen in Europe to fund a 140 billion euro loan for Ukraine.
01:06Leaders are also set to discuss long-term support for Kyiv, including a joint procurement to strengthen Europe's defence industries.
