TVK halts Vijay's programmes for 2 weeks after Karur stampede

The TVK has halted party chief Vijay's all programmes, which include rallies, meetings, and campaigning activities, for the next two weeks after the stampede in Karur left 41 people dead.

00:09Let's begin this bulletin with a big breaking news coming in from Tamil Nadu right now.

00:13It seems that TVK party has cancelled all their programs for the next two weeks.

00:21This is of course a fallout of the stampede that had happened in Karoor and 41 people had died in it.

00:29And now it seems that the party has decided not to go ahead with any campaign programs for the next two weeks.

00:36So Vijay shall not be holding any rallies, any meetings or any campaigning activities for the next two weeks.

03:39there are affairs against them.

03:44in what happened in Karoor.

03:48and another R.A.J. is also facing cases right now.
