Tensions have escalated over the Karur stampede as TVK chief Vijay broke his four-day silence, alleging a conspiracy in a video statement. He challenged the government, saying revenge should target him, not his supporters, and questioned why the tragedy struck only in Karur despite campaigning in five districts. 00:00Well, after being missing in action for four days now, TVK chief finally appeared on Tuesday,
00:06releasing his first video statement regarding the Karoor stampede, saying the truth will come out soon.
00:12Also cried conspiracy here, saying if the CM wants to take revenge, he should target him and not his people.
00:20Vijay questioned why the stampede occurred only in Karoor, in spite of TVK campaigning in five districts.
00:25The Tamil Nadu government was quick to react to his video statement, alleging that TVK didn't deploy enough volunteers,
00:32instead wanted the cops to do the volunteers' job.
00:35The state government claimed that TVK flouted rules and misjudged the crowd's eyes.
00:41Meanwhile, TVK leader Adhavarjuna has been booked for the controversial but now deleted Gen Z's post
00:46that he shared two days after the Karoor stampede.
00:49See you up, sir.
00:55If you were telling me,
00:58since you told me when you were trained,
01:01you were in the first place.
01:02For the purpose of what you've done,
01:05you gave me a little bit of work.
01:10I learned my little bit more than never was,
01:13you said,
01:14you said,
01:16I am going to do the same thing.
01:20My friends,
01:24my friends,
01:26are stronger,
01:28stronger,
01:30stronger.
01:32Continue.
01:36If you are in the beginning,
01:40I will go to that spotlight
01:44if you are in the beginning,
01:46we will not do anything.
01:48But for me,
01:50we will not be able to do the same thing.
01:54But for social media,
01:56we will not be able to do the same thing.
02:02That was only because
02:04a leader
02:06who wants to become chief minister of the state
02:08could not keep up his time.
02:12He did not come to the spot at 12 o'clock and speak.
02:16He does not want to reply to that.
02:18In his statement, he says that,
02:20don't take revenge on me, everything.
02:22I had come at 8 o'clock this meeting because of this reason.
02:26He had not stated anything.
02:28If that is the case,
02:30he should have informed his party cadres
02:32and they should have announced that,
02:34Vijay will come only at 8 o'clock.
02:36Please disperse.
02:38Something like that.
02:40Any personality in public life
02:42who claims as a leader
02:44has to be seen with the people.
02:46He has to be the voice of the voiceless.
02:48You have to be with them when there is a time of crisis.
02:50That's the reason why you are in public life.
02:52There cannot be a marriage of convenience
02:54in public life.
02:5624 by 7, your life is dedicated
02:58for a common man, for the voice of voiceless.
03:00And since Vijay has expressed his interest
03:02to go to Karur sometime, I hope he should go.
03:04He should go and be there with the victim
03:06to understand and give a hope
03:08that he will stand by the victim.
03:10And if there were to be any conspiracy theories
03:12that is emerging in the last two days,
03:14he should fight to get justice for them.
03:18And from Vijay's emotional appeal to arrest protest
03:20on a judicial probe, the Karur Stampede
03:22has snowballed into Tamil Nadu's biggest political flashpoint.
03:26Even as the Tamil Nadu police begin to probe
03:28in the Karur Stampede case, a few arrests have been made.
03:30In this case, related to spreading of misinformation
03:33on social media.
03:35TVK filed a plea in Madrasa accord earlier today.
03:37India Today tracks all these developments.
03:49Three days after the Karur Stampede,
03:52TVK Chief Vijay released an emotional video message
03:55calling the tragedy the most painful moment of his life.
03:58The moment of his life.
03:59See him, sir.
04:05I think that's why I'm going to get a train.
04:12What do you want me to do?
04:16I'm going to get to that side.
04:18I think I'm going to get to that side.
04:22I'm not going to get to that side.
04:24I'm not going to get to that side.
04:27Where is it?
04:29Vijay said he left the rally midway to de-escalate the situation
04:41and promised to meet all families of the victims.
04:46Vijay's appeal comes as the probe has gathered
04:48two has been picked up over his social media posts.
05:03A Karoor court has now sent two TVK leaders to 14-day police custody.
05:09TVK General Secretary Adav Arjuna meanwhile quoted controversy.
05:13He alleged of a police lati charge during the rally
05:15and warned of youth protests like those in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
05:19Remarks in a social media post which later deleted after an uproar.
05:37An India delegation led by Anurag Thakur and Hemah Malini
05:40visited Karoor and demanded a Supreme Court monitored probe.
05:45The moment Vijay happened, power went off.
05:57This is one complaint from a lot of general public.
06:01After the commotion started, some miscreants used a knife.
06:05Knife?
06:05And they were cutting people.
06:07Opposite side, miscreants were trying to create wound for people.
06:11Randomly they were doing this.
06:12Where was she standing?
06:14Where was she standing?
06:14Where was she standing?
06:15Where was she standing?
06:15Where was she standing?
06:16We fell into the ditch.
06:19DMK MP Kani Modi on the other hand
06:21is accused Vijay of abandoning the site mid-crisis.
06:24They just need people to support them, people to be there and somebody to help them.
06:32And I think that is there.
06:34Even if the party which had the rally did not reach out.
06:41I mean, even the second-rung leaders or the cadres are not there.
06:46State Minister Anubil Mahesh confirmed that a judicial inquiry headed by retired Judge Aruna Jagadeesan
06:53is underway and assured accountability.
06:56Amid the escalating politics, tragedy deepened further.
07:00A 51-year-old TVK functionary allegedly died by suicide,
07:04blaming inadequate police protection and directly naming Minister Senthil Balaji.
07:08As the Judicial Commission begins its probe,
07:12the Karoar stampede has turned into the epicentre of Tamil Nadu's political storm.
07:17With Apoorva in Karoar and Anaga in Chennai, Bureau Report, India Today.
07:21Textile market.
07:22Three days after the Asia Cup final, Pakistan continues to brazen it out.
07:30Pakistan cricket board chief Mohsen Nakwee has refused to hand over the Asia Cup trophy to India.
07:35Instead, the PCB chief, who also oversees the Asian Cricket Council,
07:41has directed Indian captain Surya Kumar Yadav to collect the trophy in person from the ACC office.
07:47This comes after the Mohsen Nakwee-led ACC ran away with the Asia Cup trophy and medals.
07:51The cricket team, after beating Pakistan, the Indian team,
07:55were left standing for more than an hour waiting to be called on the stage.
08:00The Indian team refused to take the trophy from Nakwee
08:02and had requested for the trophy to be handed over by the vice chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board.
08:08However, Nakwee said no to that request.
08:11State firm on his stance that India will have to receive the trophy only from him.
08:21The first question is, where are the trophies in the whole hotel room?
08:27The trophies are in the whole hotel room, 14 players and 10-12 support staff.
08:34That is the true trophy.
08:35Tell me one thing, this is a very good answer, but tell me one thing.
08:39The players are very relaxed because we used to play cricket.
08:49We used to play cricket, we used to play cricket and we focused on the whole tournament on cricket.
08:56If you look at the first game we played in front of them, we didn't focus on any other thing.
09:05We focused only on cricket, we played cricket and we won the tournament.
09:08You said that you didn't have any tips for them, but would you like to play with the other gestures, the Pakistani players in the next match?
09:16Look, how is it that in the game, everything is under and under.
09:19There is aggression, players and fielders, everyone wants to win.
09:24But what is it that you don't have to cross the line.
09:27There are so many things that players have told me in the three matches, that I can't share.
09:33But there was a lot of things that players came and told me about coaching staff.
09:37But after the first game and after the second game,
09:41that if we focus on cricket, the occasion is good,
09:45and if we win here, the match is not possible.
09:49More news coming in.

11:11They've been taken to Guwahati.
11:13Event organizer and the manager stand arrested.
11:16Producer for the court of the chief judicial magistrate
11:20and 14-day custody of the police is what they have now been sent to.
11:30Previously, both were in fact in Singapore even after the death of the singer.
11:34They continued to be in Singapore notices were sent.
11:39I'm going to go straight across to Nandita who gets in more details on that story.
11:43Take us through the details, Nandita, of the investigations in this entire matter
11:48and what are the charges that both of these men are facing at this point in time.
11:53The charges right now we have in our hands is that several cases have been filed against votes
12:03across the street of Assam.
12:05Again, Shamkanur, the CID police station case number 18 oblique 2025 under section 612 oblique 105 oblique 1061 of BNS 2023.
12:18Hasn't been put again, Shamkanur Mohanto.
12:21As present, we are unable to find the reports of what charges has been put in the .
12:27Both the issues in Givengar's death probe have been taken to CID office straight away from the CGM court
12:34where they have been put on the 14-day police custody.
12:37And during the police probe, they will be interrogated of the entire incident that happened on September 19th,
12:44the day when Givengar died.
12:46You know, talk to us a little more about the charges, Nandita, if you could, that both of these men are facing.
12:53Of course, now they are in the custody of the CID.
12:56The event organizer has a role in all of this and the manager also as far as the death case is concerned.
13:03Yes.
13:04Siddharth Sharma and Shamkanur Mohanto, there have been several cases filed against them around the entire state
13:13in civil police stations across the state.
13:15So, the charges at present that we have in our hands, the reports are about negligence and of murder as well.
13:22So, we cannot currently find out what under sections they have been charged under what section.
13:30So, at present, we do have this information that they have been taken to the CID office
13:35and for which they will be interrogated further on and their role into this case.
13:40At Siddharth Sharma, who was present on September 19th at a private yacht party where Givengar was also there.
13:46And during that event, Givengar died as well.
13:49And as the reports that the death certificate that they have received from Singapore, it mentions of drowning.
13:54But people here in the state of Islam have been demanding justice for the singer
13:59as they were speculating that he cannot die just because of drowning.
14:03There was some conspiracy behind his death with some even stating that he might have been murdered as well
14:09or something might have been added into the food that he was being served before he got into the yacht in Singapore.
14:16So, there were several allegations against both the accused.
14:21With Shyamkana Mohammed Abhin also alleged that he was not present though,
14:26he was accused of taking Givengar from Assam for the Nautic Festival
14:31where he was slated to perform on the evening of September 19th, the day Givengar died.
14:37Right, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
14:39Getting in those details is my colleague.
14:40Shifting focus now, telling you a little about what's happening as far as the sleazy Baba case from Delhi is concerned.
14:50The monster Baba now nabbed by cops.
14:52More skeletons are tumbling out of his closet.
14:56India today has now accessed the shocking sex chats that investigators say expose his predatory behaviour.
15:03In one of those conversations, he asks, you will not sleep with me?
15:07While in another, he boasts that a Sheikh from Dubai wants a sex partner
15:11and even asks if a classmate or junior might be interested or available.
15:15The cell-style government floods his victims with sleazy messages from my sweetest baby doll and sweetest baby daughter doll
15:24to baby is your duty complete.
15:26These were the conversations that we have accessed.
15:29The police have confirmed to India today that this molester Baba was no saint but a tech-savvy offender
15:35who tried to stay ahead of the law.
15:38He used a foreign number while absconding and had a CCTV monitoring app installed in his phone.
15:43Investigators have found photos of several air hostesses along with personal, not professional chats.
15:48CVs of multiple women were stored on his device raising suspicions that he lured them
15:53with fake promises of jobs and high-level connections.
15:59When with a national family, you see the most touching, the most famously on the police,
16:03and then in the county.
16:04He contacted the police and the people and the state of an hour by visiting the military with the small
16:06family.
16:07What is the case of the incident?
16:08Do you see the incident?
16:09The incident is that there are some of the incident.
16:10There are some things, as such.
16:11I believe there are several incidents.
16:12There are some incidents coming from the police.
16:13There are these things that they do with specialists.
17:16Good morning, baby.
17:17Where are you?
17:19Why are you angry with me, baby?
17:21Then he keeps on bombarding her with messages, as you can see, sweet baby daughter.
17:26And then one Dubai Sheikh wants to a sex partner.
17:29Do you have any nice friend?
17:31Koi nahi hai is the answer that it comes.
17:33How is it possible?
17:34I don't know.
17:35You're any classmate or junior.
17:36So he's looking for sex partners for Dubai Sheikhs is what is evident here.
17:42So in these messages, it just speaks volumes of what he is, the kind of conversation that
17:47he's having with these young women.
17:49Good evening, sir.
17:49What are you doing?
17:50Just doing some disco dance.
17:52Wow, sir.
17:53Do you want to join?
17:53My baby doll, baby, baby, baby.
17:58That is the kind of language that this man on your screens, this Delhi sleazy monster baba
18:05had been using.
18:07Now, we're not just talking about anybody else.
18:10This man claimed to be a saint and was continuing to work from an ashram.
18:15But this is the kind of conversation that he had with the disciples there, with people
18:20living in their ashram.
18:27Referring to all of these women as baby, even chatting with one woman and asking that a sex
18:33partner is required.
18:35In fact, in a late night conversation, and we are putting that out once again for our
18:39viewers, he goes on to ask a young woman, well, she informs him that she's going to bed.
18:45And then he asks, will you not sleep with me?
18:48To which there is no reply from the young woman.
18:51One Dubai Sheikh wants a sex partner.
18:55Do you want or do you have somebody is the question that he is asking.
19:01Arvind Doja has more details on that story that he's been tracking relentlessly.

34:16One last question. Do you claim any sort of negligence that everyone is talking about, even Bori Hago also pointed it out, so what is your opinion about it?
34:28It is totally negligence of the people around him who were present at that time on the yacht, during the program, everything. It was about negligence.
34:36It was their responsibility to bring him safely home, bring back him safely home, but they neglected. They were on duty and they neglected.
34:46It is absolutely negligence of duty and they should be punished. That's all.
34:51The investigation is going in the right track. They are working very hard, the police and administration, and we trust on them.

36:39Anyone left out can still apply up to 10 days before the last state for filing nominations for election.
36:45The opposition Mahagadbandhan has reacted with caution while the BJP has welcomed the SIR.
36:52The election commission is a great position.
36:53The first election commission is spent in civil rights.
36:58The election commission is out of 7.14 crore voters.
36:59The election commission is a great deal.
37:03The election commission is dedicated tounes were refused.
37:05This is due to the election commission.
37:06In the world'sarse we drifted from the control.
37:07It was made possible by the police department.
37:09So all these things have happened, no one can deny it, that's why we don't know what happened this time.
37:15The election commission has done a good job, they have deleted their names in the SIR,
37:21who have been removed or who have put their names in the other place, or who have been a Bengali country,
37:28so their names are deleted.
37:29Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi had undertaken a 15-day voter adhikari yatra in the state against alleged voter list fraud.
37:40The yatra was hailed by the Congress top brass at the CWC meeting held in Patna.
37:45But since the yatra, a lot has happened.
37:50For instance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out a 10,000 rupees direct cash transfer to 75 lakh women.
37:57Now, with the final voter list out and the pitch ready for the Assembly elections,
38:04will the SIR remain as an election issue at all?
38:08With Maushami Singh and Aishwarya Paliwal, Bureau Report, India Today.

41:01we throw so he straight across the views getting in more details on that big
41:08story a significant day for sang paribar with this on this occasion by the
41:13Prime Minister would be releasing commemorative post-it stamp I'm going to
41:18highlight the contribution of the sang paribar RSS contributions to the nation
41:22and be addressing the gathering soon
41:27well absolutely Suneha these are the pictures which we are getting in from
41:32the Ambedkar International Center at the Janpath Road where PM Narendra Modi along
41:36with various other officials have reached the Culture Minister of Country
41:40Kajendra Shekhawat is addressing the gathering and he is you know giving
41:45brief information about today's program but you know let us tell to our viewers
41:50that today Prime Minister is the chief guest in that big program where he is
41:54going to launch up the postal stamp commemorative postal stamp and also a
42:00coin highlighting the achievements of RSS and also the contributions it has made
42:04for the nation building the Prime Minister today has taken part as the chief guest
42:09in the centenary celebrations of RSS various officials from RSS are also
42:14present there as this program is underway in a national capital remember that a
42:19PM Narendra Modi himself has been associated with RSS for so long and during his
42:24multiple interviews he has highlighted as to how RSS has shaped his career how RSS has
42:29helped him in growing in his career and today once again we will see the
42:34similar sort of sentiments and emotions being expressed by PM Narendra Modi when
42:39he will be addressing the gathering so as we are speaking PM is there in this
42:44program where he is going to release the commemorative postal stamp and also coin
42:49highlighting the achievements of RSS after that we will be able to understand the
42:54kind of words which Prime Minister expresses but yes earlier also from the
42:59ramparts of Red Fort Prime Minister had praised RSS and today once again we are now
43:05seeing how PM Narendra Modi is taking part in this huge celebration those are now
43:11taking place in national capital earlier also Suniya you would remember that RSS has held a multiple programs in
43:18Delhi in Rajasthan in other parts of the country are to you know celebrate the
43:23hundred years of RSS and remember that as RSS is organizing various programs
43:28PM Narendra Modi is also taking part in one of the programs BJP has been heaping
43:34praises on RSS today BJP is a minority Morcha president Jamal Siddiqui has also
43:39written a letter to the president of India requesting that RSS founder head giver
43:45should be conferred with Bharat Ratanam we'll have to wait and watch on the other
43:49political parties from opposition are going to react on this but yes it is a big
43:52demand coming in from Bharata Janta party where they are asking for Bharat Ratanam for RSS
43:56founder so as we are speaking we are getting these pictures of PM Narendra Modi who is
44:00there at the international Ambedkar International Center and very soon is
44:04going to address the gathering that's right important to you also peers has been a lot of
44:08conversation around the fact that things are not okay between the party the
44:12Prime Minister and the RSS something that the opposition has been talking about and
44:17this in that sense kind of destroys that argument as well of course the Red
44:22Fort speech of the Prime Minister set in tone that conversation as well isn't it
44:30well absolutely this entire controversy was this entire controversy had stirred
44:35a snare at a time when the elections of Lok Sabha were going on at the time
44:40various statements were given by the opposition political party saying that now all is not well
44:44within BJP and RSS and a lot of ammunition was given to this statement by J.P. Narendra's
44:51interview to a news delivery he had said that we don't need RSS anymore after that various
44:56clarifications were also issued by BJP but the damage had already been done we had seen as to
45:01how when RSS did not help BJP it could not perform well in 2024 Lok Sabha elections and after the
45:07results of BJP where it could not form the government on its own in this in the center
45:12we saw how multiple deliberations took place multiple meetings took place the opposition
45:19kept on criticizing on this in fact this they kept on taking jive at BJP saying that now BJP and RSS
45:26are not the two sides of same coin they don't have good relations but it was a masterstroke when
45:32Haryana elections took place now we saw how there was a you know collective decisions taken by BJP and
45:40RSS in Haryana BJP which was already fighting anti-governancy and also the the problems are due to the
45:49farmers protest it was able to form government for the third time after Haryana we also saw how in
45:55Maharashtra around the three lakh small gatherings were addressed by RSS workers to ensure BJP and NDA
46:03is again back in power and then we saw as to how there was a landslide victory for NDA in the state
46:08of Maharashtra also and after that we are now also seeing the similar sort of performance of BJP in Delhi so
46:15due to the bad relations between BJP and RSS in Lok Sabha elections after that we are now seeing how
46:27the both the organizations are now back on the same page there have been multiple meetings and
46:32deliberations and after that we are already seeing how there are collective discussions taking place
46:39there are coordinated meetings taking place between both the organizations and today PM Naryendramodhi is not
46:44only taking part as chief guest in this program of RSS but he's also going to release a commemorative
46:51postal stamp and a coin highlighting the achievements of RSS all right pictures are in fact from the
46:57event we'll put that out once again for our viewers of the prime minister being a chief guest at the
47:01event marking 100 years of the RSS he's spoken about the RSS in the speech on independence day as well spoke
47:09about it and underscored the kind of work use that RSS had done saying that this really is the world's
47:15largest NGO it's public service that this organization does
47:25well absolutely and the prime minister in on multiple occasions has been highlighting that how RSS has
47:30helped him in building his career helped him in changing his perspective of living life how to take
47:37decisions and we have seen multiple times prime minister heaping praises on RSS and today he is
47:42taking part you know in this centrally celebrations from the ramparts of Red Fort while addressing people
47:50on the independence day celebrations the prime minister had praised the social organization RSS and he had
47:57also you know highlighted that how RSS works the kind of you know teachings and values are there of RSS
48:04so today what we are seeing is somewhere some sort of extension which BJP led government is giving to
48:12RSS and the kind of praises which we will again see from PM Narendra Modi for RSS so it's a huge
48:21program which is certainly going to again solidify the relations between both the organizations yes
48:27there were talks of BJP and RSS not working on the same side having sour relations but
48:34that's now part of the history there are collective decisions taken by both the organizations
48:39and then also implemented there are collective meetings deliberations also take place before
48:44elections and that's what we have also seen seen in various assembly elections we know that Bihara
48:50assembly elections are also also to take place in a few days from now but for that also RSS has
48:57started working on ground we know there are multiple meetings being organized by RSS functionaries
49:05they are reaching out to people trying to understand their concerns and also they are you know putting
49:10forward the nationalistic picture of BJP so that there is an edge to NDA in the upcoming elections also
49:17so RSS plays a very important role for BJP and BJP is also acknowledging this yes and today PM Modi is
49:27also you know taking part as the chief guest in the centenary celebrations of RSS and earlier also we have
49:33seen similar sort of programs being organized not only in Delhi but in various parts of the country
49:38highlighting the hundred years of achievement of RSS I'm going to leave that for the moment getting in
49:43those details and putting that story into perspective is my colleague Bhiyosh Mishra
49:56more news coming in President Donald Trump has virtually bet for the Nobel Peace Prize
50:01Trump has said insult the US if I don't get Nobel Nobel or nothing Trump's ego overload there after
50:08the imaginary India Pakistan sees fire that he thinks he brokered Trump goes on a while ago's
50:15Nobel chase is what it looks like doesn't it
50:22and in Africa we saved the Congo with Rwanda they've been fighting for 31 years 10 million people dead
50:31I got that one done and very proud of it so if this works out we'll have eight eight in eight months
50:40that's pretty good nobody's ever done that would you get the Nobel Prize absolutely not they'll give
50:47it they'll give it to some guy that didn't do a damn thing they'll give it to a guy that wrote a
50:52book about the mind of Donald Trump and what it took to solve the wars and he'll get the Nobel Prize will go
50:57to the writer now but well let's see what happens but it's uh be a big insult to our country I will
51:04tell you that I don't want it I want the country to get it but it should get it because there's never
51:09been anything like it think of it so if this happens I think it will I don't say that lightly
51:13because I know more about deals than anybody this is what my whole life was based on
51:17going straight across to Pranayapath there for more details on that story this is now beyond
51:22embarrassing isn't it Pranay the manner in which he's now saying that this is truly ours speaks
51:28volumes away the sense of entitlement and also the lies that have been spun around this you know this
51:34uh the playing an important role in you know figuring out the truths between Pakistan and India
51:40that Trump has claimed time and again and denied time and again by India
51:45uh no denial about uh the fact that uh President Donald Trump keep repeating the fact that he
51:51actually procured a ceasefire between India and Pakistan however this remains far away from the fact
51:56but uh probably he must have been the the uh most desperate reason to get the the Nobel Prize because
52:01no other world leader has ever expressed his uh desperation uh or his uh desire to to get the
52:07Nobel Peace Prize so uh with so much of vigor but if you see uh there remains the technicalities
52:13here because the PSD nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize has already closed by 31st of January
52:19and uh President Donald Trump assumed a power only on uh 20th of January 2025 so therefore there
52:25were only limited 11 days window available for his nomination which and you know uh whatever he has
52:31claimed about stopping these wars everything happened after the the deadline has already expired so
52:37probably he might have qualified he might be uh you know even if to consider his name the the
52:42procedure needs to be on so probably he might get a Nobel Peace Prize subsequently he has still three
52:47and a half years and if he uh end up stopping the war of Gaza and he he can broker a peace plan
52:53and can roll out then there could be a possibility but here remains the technicality and on 10th of
52:58October 2025 the announcement will be there that's right getting in those details of course it remains to
53:04be seen what happened next but the begging for the Nobel Prize is something that continues yeah
