00:16This would be the first India visit of President Putin after the Ukraine war.

00:25Pranay, how important is this visit?
00:28It is going to be a very significant visit, Anjali, because Russian President Vladimir Putin will be visiting India for the 23rd India-Russia Summit.
00:37You know that India and Russia have this arrangement of organizing the annual summit.
00:41And for that, Russian President will be in Delhi, most likely on 5th and 6th of December.
00:47But this is, as you rightly pointed it out, this would be happening.
00:50This visit will be his first visit after the Russia-Ukraine conflict began.
00:54And, you know, what India is facing right now is because we are buying the Russian oil.
00:58So from the energy security point of view, this visit is going to be important.
01:02And ahead of this visit, the Russian side has already indicated that Russia wants to have more military ties with India.
01:09Russia has also offered to sell their Su-57, 5th generation fighter aircraft, along with the proposal of making India as well.
01:16So this is going to be a very important and a very significant visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in terms of the regional security,
01:24in terms of the regional dynamics, as well as the geopolitical equation.
