00:00My name is Gita, and this is my man, Chuck.
00:03The trolls say that I'm too nerdy for this beautiful goddess.
00:07I think if we weren't a different race, people would think that she's my daughter.
00:10Hello?
00:11Hi!
00:12She's like, I decide to date someone a little older.
00:15I'm like, oh, okay.
00:17Hmm.
00:18Disapproving comments.
00:20We get quite a few of those.
00:23People calling me a sugar baby.
00:26I'm 25 years old.
00:28I am about to turn 41 years old.
00:31We met on Hinge.
00:34I turned the numbers up a little bit on it, and I found him, and I thought that he looked really handsome.
00:41I think what first got me was the beard, for sure.
00:46She's just beautiful.
00:47I mean, so it's hard to not be attracted to her.
00:51I thought she was a scam account at first.
00:53I was shocked that a 25-year-old would be interested in an old guy like me.
00:58I think when I really realized that there was something more there was when I realized that she did a lot of the volunteer work with wildlife.
01:08An animal lover is a must for me.
01:10I think third or fourth date, maybe, she came over for dinner, and I had cooked for her, and it was game over, I think.
01:18It was just so delicious, I never left.
01:20That's what I like to say.
01:23You ready?
01:24Did you get a good workout?
01:26Good.
01:27Let's go home.
01:28My friend Jalen's coming over.
01:31I've told him all about Chuck.
01:32He just hasn't met him in person yet.
01:34I've known Gita now almost five years.
01:37I mean, we both met each other at a club, and ever since we just hit it off, she's like,
01:42I decided to date someone a little older.
01:45I'm like, oh, okay.
01:47Hmm.
01:49Oh, that breeze feels nice.
01:51I'm very protective of my friend, and I don't want someone to control them or keep them under their finger.
01:58Are you nervous?
01:59I'm a little nervous.
02:00He was a little skeptical, so you've got to impress them.
02:04Sure.
02:05Well, hello.
02:07Hi.
02:08Hey, girl.
02:09Well, nice to meet you, sir.
02:10Nice to meet you.
02:11How are you?
02:12Fine, fine, fine.
02:12How are you today?
02:13I'm doing good.
02:15She's told me a lot about you.
02:16I hope it's all good, thanks.
02:18Very interesting place.
02:20So, how are things?
02:22How's life?
02:23It's been good.
02:24I guess I should probably start with maybe, like, what you thought, like, what your first thoughts were.
02:32I'm not going to lie, it was a bit of a surprise.
02:33Because, again, when people say, oh, I want to date an older man, I'm like, oh, what, three, four, five years at least?
02:40And you're like, no, just a little bit older.
02:43And I'm like, how old?
02:46I think our age difference is about 15 years, right?
02:50Just over 15 years is what our age difference is.
02:53I think if we weren't a different race, people would think that she's my daughter a lot of times.
02:58It's funny, too, because being an Indian woman, I'm just kind of naturally petite.
03:03People kind of, like, see us and I think probably think that the age difference is, like, way more than what it actually is.
03:11Again, I will say I was a little concerned.
03:13Yeah, that's understandable, I feel like.
03:18Have you ever dated a younger woman before?
03:22Not typically, no.
03:24I usually stay probably within, like, five years.
03:29So this is something new to you, I would say.
03:33Yeah, something definitely, like, new to him, new to me as well.
03:37It doesn't feel so different between us because we feel so equal and we treat each other as equals.
03:46He doesn't treat me like I'm some 25-year-old who doesn't know anything at all.
03:53He treats me like a woman.
03:54She's not a 25-year-old woman to me.
03:56She's my woman.
03:57And that's what's the best part about it.
04:00Oh, I want to kiss you so bad for my lip gloss.
04:05Were you expecting me to be like, I mean, a polo, some shorts.
04:12You pull it off well, I'd say.
04:13A lot of the stuff that I get is that she can do so much better than me, that I look like I'm 60.
04:21I don't think I look like I'm 60.
04:22No.
04:23I see you guys post, like, all the time on your social media about yourself, but how do people feel about that?
04:29Obviously, you know, with that stuff comes a lot of negative comments, and we've definitely gotten our fair share of those.
04:36So this person says, why not find a girl of your age?
04:42She is a young girl of color, and he is an old white man with a thing towards barely legal girls.
04:48And I'm 25 years old.
04:49I didn't realize barely legal was seven years.
04:52And this one we've gotten out on the streets, too, is like, how much did you buy her for?
04:58So, like, the mail order, like, I just went in the catalog, found her, and then brought her over from India, you know, like, yesterday.
05:07I feel like we get a lot of judgmental comments, mostly from people of, like, my race.
05:11You know, colonialism at its finest.
05:14And it's so funny because I was the one that swiped on him.
05:19I was the one that swiped first.
05:21Some people are, like, also questioning, but mostly everyone's kind of coming to our defense.
05:28They're saying, like, what does him being white have to do with anything?
05:33I was adopted at a very young age.
05:35My adoptive parents are white, and I grew up, like, in a small town in Kentucky, you know?
05:40And so all of the people around me were obviously just predominantly white.
05:46Both are mature, consenting adults who love each other, therefore absolutely nothing wrong with it.
05:52The online stuff, it's just somebody behind a keyboard, you know?
05:54I mean, these people...
05:56And it's all just assumptions.
05:58Haters are just free publicity, in my opinion.
06:00Exactly, exactly.
06:01You still get the views.
06:02You still get the views, and that's all that matters.
06:05Yeah.
06:05You know, really, at the end of the day, all they are is just...
06:08They're just jealous.
06:09...made-up narratives.
06:10Yeah.
06:11They're just jealous that you are a happy couple, and they're just like, ugh, I wish I was that happy.
06:17Like, you know, just go out, take a gamble that love exists in the world.
06:23And find something real, something that makes you happy.
06:25Yeah.
06:26It doesn't matter what the age is, or what race, or, you know, ethnicity you are.
06:30Just find someone for you.
06:33Yeah.
06:33It's so nice to see you smile.
06:35Like, oh, since I even want to walk through the room, I just notice every time you look at him, he just makes you smile.
06:42I'm very, like, protective of my friends.
06:44Like, I care about her well-being, if she's happy, if she's being taken care of by someone that cares about her.
06:50I can see that you bring nothing but joy and happiness into her life.
06:55And if you go traveling, send me your postcard, please.
06:58It gets boring down here without you, girl.
07:00I miss you.
07:02It was nice to see you again.
07:03Come here, love.
07:04Come on.
07:04It was nice to see you, too.
07:05It's always nice seeing you.
07:07Now, Chuck, come on.
07:08I'm a hugger.
07:08Can't help it.
07:09Come here.
07:10A few of the things I love most about Chuck is how gentle and caring and patient he is with me.
07:19He's protective because he cares about me, not because he thinks it makes him look good.
07:25I love you, sweetheart.
07:27I love you.
07:27Like, I wish he knew how much it improved my life, experiencing that level of gentleness and compassion from someone else.
07:41Ah.
07:42If you're judging our love, I don't think you found it yourself.
07:52Because once you have this level of love, you wouldn't have the ability to judge it.
07:59Yeah.
07:59I hope everyone finds themselves a Chuck.
08:02I think everyone needs a Chuck in their life.
08:04I think everyone deserves a Keith.
08:12I think everyone needs a Chuck in their life.
