00:00The terrible news tonight, that Chadwick Boseman has died after battling colon cancer for four years.
00:06Chadwick Boseman was just 43 years old.
00:11Chadwick Boseman was the celebrated actor who shot to worldwide fame as the Marvel superhero Black Panther.
00:19This is a man who changed everything for us.
00:23He was a real-life superhero. He was Black Panther.
00:26He also made a name for himself portraying iconic Americans Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and James Brown.
00:34The body of work will last forever.
00:36Chadwick Boseman just gave it 110%. He was never going to let anything stop him.
00:42But his relentless drive came at a cost.
00:45There wasn't a lot of money. There was a lot of stress. And stress takes its toll.
00:52He did what he needed to do, but that was the thing about Chadwick Boseman.
00:55He always did what he needed to do.
00:58And just as he was emerging as the star of his generation, the unthinkable happened.
