Game of Thrones is roughly based on the storylines of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R. R. Martin, set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series follows several simultaneous plotlines. The first story arc follows a war of succession among competing claimants for control of the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms, with other noble families fighting for independence from the throne. 00:00in today's episode of game of thrones adventures the wall melts and all hell breaks loose winter has come to westeros and with it brings an unprecedented threat that could destroy everything will humanity survive or will it die out let's find out
00:17we begin our story at the wall where john snow and his men are getting ready for the long night they have just received word from samuel tarley who is currently stationed in oldtown with gilly and baby sam
00:28through the raven we learn that the wights have already breached the wall and are heading south so time is not on their side john snow then asks tyrian lannister if he can trust him to get them through this battle and tyrian responds by saying you don't need to trust me you need to trust the plan
00:47we then see that tyrian has spent weeks planning for this moment he has set up massive trenches filled with wildfire and positioned them all around the wall this is a last-ditch effort to stop the dead
00:59if the wights get any closer to the wall then tyrian will light the wildfire and turn these creatures to ash after everyone is in position tyrian gives the order to light the fuses
01:11as the wildfire begins to burn john snow watches eagerly waiting for the first wave of the dead to arrive it doesn't take long soon enough they are here and what a sight it is
01:23thousands upon thousands of wights are charging towards the wall but there is one that stands out above the rest it is the night king and he is leading the charge
01:33the wights reach the burning oil and begin to slow down some try to jump over the flames but they are met with a wall of swords and spears
01:41and those who make it through are finished off by the dragon-glass onlookers watch in awe as the night king approaches he raises his sword and prepares to strike a fatal blow but before he can do anything he is cut down by a dragon
01:54yes denrys has arrived with her dragons and she begins to burn the wights alive as the battle rages tormund and derek dondarrion lead a group of men to help defend the wall together they fight valiantly and inspire others to keep fighting
02:10but even with the help of the dragons the dead seem unstoppable just when it looks like all hope is lost reinforcements arrive it is the golden company they have heard of the battle and came to help with their combined forces the living push the dead back
02:28slowly but surely the knight king grows impatient he leaps into the air and lands in front of denrys she screams in terror as he raises his sword but before he can touch her he is stabbed in the heart by john snow with the knight king defeated the remaining wights flee the battle is over and the living have won
02:49everyone cheers for their victory until tyrian steps forward and tells everyone to be quiet he then says something that will shock everyone he reveals that he had a secret plan all along a plan that involves sacrificing the wall itself
03:03tyrian explains that he knew the wildfire wouldn't be enough to defeat the dead so he secretly used some of the wildfire to melt the wall now the wall is slowly dripping down and the ground beneath the feet of the dead is crumbling away
03:17at first no one understands what tyrian is doing then they all begin to realize what is happening the wall is melting away everyone stares in horror as the wall continues to crumble away even denrys is shocked she never would have guessed that tyrian was behind this
03:35then suddenly a horn sounds the remaining whites are coming back for another round and they are not alone behind them is something even more terrifying a massive army of the dead there must be tens of thousands of them and leading the charge is the knight king but he is not alone beside him is a figure that everyone recognizes the angry joy
03:57yes dean has come back as a member of the dead this is gonna be bad with the wall gone there's nothing to stop the dead now they charge forward and the battle begins again but this time it is much worse the dead are relentless swords and spears bounce off of them and they don't care how many times they are hit there are just too many of them the living begin to fall back they are being pushed closer and closer to the edge of the cliff and then something happens that no one could have predicted
04:25dragon dive is out of the sky and lands right in the middle of the army of the dead he breathes fire everywhere burning whites left and right but even with the help of the dragons it is looking grim the dead are still pushing the living towards the edge of the cliff but then another horn sounds it is the cavalry it is urine greyjoy and his fleet they sail right into the middle of the army of the dead blocking their path to the living the ships are too big for the army of the dead
04:55the narrow passage so the narrow passage so the wights cannot pass urine opens his mouth and screams at the top of his lungs you can't pass the wights hesitate they seem to be confused meanwhile john snow takes advantage of the distraction and runs to where theon is he tries to convince theon to come back to the land of the living but it's no use theon is beyond help john has no choice but to stab theon in the heart
05:22theon lets out a scream that echoes across the wasteland as theon's body crumbles away the other whites become agitated they begin to attack anyone who gets too close to them in the chaos denery sees her chance she flies up into the air and lands on theon's crown
05:39she screams as loud as she can trying to scare the wights away but it's no use the horde is too strong just when it looks like all hope is lost someone steps forward it is tyrian lannister he tells the wights to stop and they actually listen he then offers them a deal
05:58if they allow him to pass he will give them all the food they want the wights accept the offer and let tyrian walk right through them tyrian reaches theon and stabs him in the heart again theon's body begins to glow white and he comes back to life but this time he is different all the wights within a one mile radius are drawn to him
06:18theon looks down at his hands in disbelief he has become the new night king but this is only temporary tyrian explains that theon will eventually go back to the land of the dead but by then he will have fathered an heir theon looks over at santa who is watching them from afar
06:34he thanks tyrian for giving him a second chance and then he runs to sansa and embraces her and now the fate of westeros hangs in the balance will sansa be able to produce an heir before theon returns to the dead or will the army of the dead rise again and claim the seven kingdoms for itself only time will tell
