How to set up a RNAV Approach on the Embraer 190

00:00this is short demonstration on how to set up an mcdu with the ember 190
00:11the first thing we need to check is the rain once this is done we can then
00:22proceed by making sure that the approach is inserted correctly
00:30now let's look at the temperature we inserted in the landing page that we got from the arrival
00:42airport information there you will find a prompt called temperature compensation
00:50go to the last page and insert your minimum descent altitude or decision altitude on the left on the
00:56right you will get your compensated altitude caution if it is a minimum descent altitude remember to add
01:0350 feet
01:17you can now insert your temperature compensation let's now find our final approach fix and make
01:23it a hard altitude by removing the above sign you will then delete all the preceding altitude
01:43remember do not compensate your go around altitude instead insert your holding pattern your holding
