Sortie en 1988.  Synopsis : Sir Boynton est décédé. Jefferson Cope, son avocat, annonce à sa veuve que le défunt a retouché son testament, léguant sa fortune à parts égales à sa femme et à ses enfants, nés d'un premier mariage. Un acte précédent faisait d'elle la seule héritière. La veuve exerce un chantage sur Cope pour l'obliger à brûler le dernier document, dont les descendants de feu son époux ont pourtant eu connaissance. Pour calmer les esprits, elle leur propose une croisière vers la Terre sainte. Sur le bateau, ils font la connaissance d'Hercule Poirot, le célèbre détective. Emily Boynton est bientôt assassinée....
