00:0016 celebrities have enlisted in real military training, 10 days to prove they can endure physically and emotionally.
00:11No prizes, no special treatment. This is Special Forces, World's Toughest Test.
00:19Deep inside, everyone wants to know, do they have the courage to be a hero?
00:25Eight days ago, 16 celebrity recruits took on the world's toughest test.
00:35We find out if they've got the mental fortitude to be a Special Forces soldier.
00:40Who wants it?
00:42They face grueling exercises from Special Forces selection.
00:48Girls, girls!
00:51I feel like I'm going to pass out.
00:53The course has claimed 12 recruits.
00:56I'm done.
00:57I can't.
00:58You'll regret this, I'm telling you.
01:00I don't want to go.
01:04Now, only four remain.
01:08We've now started the countdown to the end.
01:11Go!
01:12This is where we really test them.
01:13If they're not good enough, they're gone.
01:15Recruits are about to enter their final 48 hours of selection.
01:25To be a Special Forces operator...
01:27Put your light out.
01:28Put your light out.
01:29You must be able to survive behind enemy lines.
01:32And the vehicles and lights over here!
01:34This last phase of selection will push the recruits beyond anything they've experienced so far.
01:41Get down.
01:41We're in the homestretch.
01:58But it's the penultimate day of the course.
02:02And the recruits are preparing for the final push.
02:06I think it's cool, like, and pretty badass that, you know, you and I be in the last two females standing.
02:12I want us to, like, make it to the end.
02:15Yeah.
02:15How do you feel today?
02:19My right shoulder's torched.
02:22Absolutely torched.
02:23Like, will not move up.
02:25I can't even move it up like this.
02:27Really?
02:28Oh, it's sore.
02:29I can tell Danny's not okay.
02:32Now.
02:35Started with 16.
02:37Now we've got four.
02:38This morning, the DS have gathered to assess the recruits.
02:42This is the final phase, of course.
02:45And this is where it counts now, you know.
02:47It's the hardest fight on the course.
02:49We'll see if they've been listening and applying the principles that we've been trying to teach them.
02:53And for me, number 16 is the clear frontrunner.
02:56He's passed all the tasks for the most part.
02:58I can't even think of a task that he's failed.
03:00Yeah, I think you're right.
03:01Clear frontrunner.
03:02Number eight.
03:04Still the stone wall.
03:06But she's been putting out and accomplished some tasks lately.
03:09She's doing better.
03:10Let's see if she has enough left in the tank.
03:13Four.
03:13Looks strong.
03:14She's steady.
03:15Great attitude.
03:17But she's about to be really tested.
03:1913.
03:20Skin of his teeth.
03:22I mean, he's going to pull the rubber out of the hut for me.
03:27Now, if somebody asked you, how was it?
03:29What would you say?
03:30That it was the hardest thing I ever felt in my life.
03:34Hardest thing I ever endured.
03:35It was almost close to torture.
03:37Please don't remind me.
03:39Let's talk about something else.
03:40That's what I'll probably say to him.
03:42Get on parade.
03:44Get on parade.
03:46Let's go.
03:4616 recruits started.
03:59Four of you remain.
04:02You've pushed yourself mentally, physically, emotionally.
04:05You've learned new skills.
04:08You're going to face something that you've never experienced before.
04:11It will be the hardest challenge that you can imagine.
04:15Before this course is over, you will be going on the run.
04:19Your mission will be to escape and evade capture.
04:23What you must do is take on board the lessons that you've learned here.
04:27And remember, bottom line, never give up.
04:32Am I understood?
04:33Yes, Dad.
04:33The final stage of selection is imminent.
04:43It will be crazy as f***.
04:46The special forces will work behind enemy lines.
04:49The recruits will be expected to go on the run and avoid capture.
04:53Only those who can survive this phase will have a chance to step into our world.
04:58Let's go!
04:59Before their final mission, the DS want to push the recruits to their limit, physically and mentally.
05:13All the way across, let's go!
05:15For the physical test, the recruits are being taken to a watering hole in the Wadi Rum Desert.
05:22This evolution that you're about to do is your introduction into not being able to breathe.
05:27Recruits are about to witness a demonstration of a U.S. military exercise called drown-proofing.
05:36Your hands will be bound and tied, and so will your feet.
05:42It's the technique used to teach recruits how to survive the threat of drowning.
05:48Here you go.
05:51Oh, my f***.
05:52As you're sinking, be blowing out the air. That's going to help you descend.
05:59Once your feet hit the bottom of the pool, you will push off to get back to the surface.
06:05Once you reach the surface, you will take a deep breath and then go back down.
06:10So you're saying we have to go to the bottom?
06:12Yes.
06:13Recruits have a split second to take a breath, and then exhale.
06:17If they miss time, they'll inhale water and feel like they're drowning.
06:25You will continue doing that until you see a signal, myself or Chief Rudy.
06:29Check.
06:30Yes, sir.
06:30Yes, sir.
06:32Drown-proofing is about showing that you can compose yourself in the most uncomfortable situation and still live.
06:41If you feel like you're about to die, just scream when your head breaches the surface.
06:47Check.
06:48You're good, Rube.
06:51Just go from that ledge there.
06:52Drop your bergen tight.
06:56Take my inhaler out.
06:57If for some reason I need it, it's just going to be right here, okay?
07:03I don't like when I feel like I can't breathe.
07:06I have asthma, so it's sometimes harder for me to take a full breath.
07:11Okay, number four, come forward.
07:14That's when I start panicking, because then I, like, almost induce an asthma attack.
07:19Number four, Hannah Brown, is first in.
07:23Right.
07:24Slip into this garment.
07:26But before she attempts drown-proofing, she will first swim to the other side in a weighted vest.
07:34So I can, like, swim like this?
07:35You can swim how you want to survive, all right?
07:40Let's go!
07:41Come on!
07:43Let's go, four!
07:45Run!
07:48Keep kicking!
07:50Keep watching, guys.
07:52Weighted swimming will steal the air from your lungs and fatigue your muscles like nothing else.
08:00Keep going, four!
08:03Don't give up!
08:04Maybe it's her asthma.
08:08Hannah Brown is already struggling.
08:11Push!
08:12Push!
08:13Push!
08:14Push!
08:16Grab that wall!
08:18But her trial is only just beginning.
08:22Ah!
08:24Keep going, keep going.
08:25Keep going.
08:28Face me.
08:30Breathe.
08:31My leg's killed.
08:37Control your body position.
08:38Do not panic.
08:39Despite struggling to breathe, number four, Hannah, must now attempt drown-proofing.
08:46Go!
08:47Go!
08:47Go!
08:51All the way down.
08:53Come on!
08:53Relax.
09:07Number four, Hannah Brown, is attempting to execute a special forces survival technique.
09:15A lot of people can't handle having their hands tied on land, let alone in water.
09:35We want to see how the recruits respond to being in a situation where they have to stay calm in order to survive.
09:45Number four, Hannah, has panicked and broken free of her ties.
10:06You had that!
10:10You want to try again?
10:11Try again.
10:13All right, good. Let's go.
10:15The thing that would upset me the most about this whole thing is that if I let a moment of fear take me out.
10:22You've been pushing, you've been grinding. Just exhale. Trust the process.
10:27I will not let fear win. I've let fear win before. I'm not letting fear win in this.
10:32Let's go! Come on!
10:37Number four has only one more attempt to pass the task.
10:41We're going to keep them bobbing until they show us that they can push through the panic and maintain their composure.
10:48Good to go. We can do this. We can do it.
10:57Yeah, I think it helped to get some momentum, you know?
11:00Yeah, you've got to really use the momentum.
11:02Yeah, you've got to really almost abandon the whole shot.
11:07There you go. Exhale all the way down.
11:10Exhale!
11:15That's right. Keep the memento.
11:19Good position. Keep coming.
11:21She got it.
11:26Good job. Well done.
11:28Good effort. Well done.
11:29Wow.
11:32What did I feel?
11:33Um, it's scary.
11:34With more respect.
11:35I just feel like you're, like, going to die.
11:40I'll be glad it's over.
11:45If I die, I'll give my letter to my kids.
11:50You're not going to die.
11:52Day 13, down you come.
11:54I'm not really good with water, so that's going to be pretty challenging, probably, for me.
11:59You're not the best room ever, all right?
12:02I'll tell you something else.
12:03I know you can do it.
12:04Number eight.
12:07All right, take yourself and stay calm.
12:09That's all you're going to do.
12:11Go get them.
12:12Go forward, go forward, go forward.
12:13Go.
12:14Ready?
12:15Way to go.
12:17Go!
12:21As a member of the Special Boat Service, I have done an immense amount of work in water.
12:27And it is hard.
12:28It's difficult.
12:30Let's go, 13!
12:33Press roll!
12:34Kick!
12:36That's it, 13!
12:37That's it, 13!
12:38That's it, 13!
12:40Get right there!
12:41Grab the wall!
12:47Catch your wind in the water.
12:49I can recall being on a job once where I was underwater and I was trying to make my way to the surface so I could get onto a target ship.
12:56When my gear got caught and I couldn't go any further, I was running out of breath.
13:04Big time.
13:06And I could feel myself turning into this violent mess of nerves.
13:12Call it training, call it experience, I took stock of the situation, slowed it down.
13:21Action!
13:22And I dealt with it in a way that kept me alive.
13:29Absolutely brilliant!
13:30Keep it going!
13:32That's it!
13:36Very good work.
13:37Pass!
13:38Nice!
13:39That was awesome.
13:40She'd crush that.
13:42Yeah.
13:47Good effort!
13:49Pass!
13:54Man from Atlantis.
13:55Can you be scared of water and swimming, right?
13:57You nailed it.
13:58Good effort.
13:59Stella.
14:00Thank you, Stella.
14:01I hate getting in the water.
14:10I'm gonna cry when I get in the car.
14:17Okay, 16.
14:18Now you come.
14:19Hoping he can master the technique with a shoulder injury is number 16, Super Bowl champion, Danny Amendola.
14:28Everything you got.
14:31Playing through injury is part of my life.
14:35Compartmentalizing pain is something that I've been doing for a long time.
14:40Kick like a pro!
14:41Keep digging!
14:45Over the course of my career, I've had countless surgeries.
14:47I've broke my leg.
14:49I broke my arm.
14:50I've had five concussions.
14:52The life of an NFL hero is an abusive one for sure.
14:57Get into it!
14:58Push it!
14:59Grab the wall.
15:00That's the goal line.
15:01Okay, be mindful of the shoulder.
15:10You did it, right?
15:11What are you saying?
15:12Is the shoulder more ?
15:13All right.
15:14Do not lift that shoulder over your head.
15:16Your hands over your head.
15:17Okay.
15:18On three.
15:19Three!
15:23The mental part of an injury is far worse than a physical part for sure.
15:27Good lad.
15:28Good lad.
15:29Well done.
15:30Pass!
15:31Good lad.
15:31Good lad.
15:32Good lad.
15:33Well done.
15:38Pass!
15:39Good lad.
15:47I don't leave that.
15:49All right.
15:50Stay with it.
15:51I'm trying, man.
15:52Stay with it.
15:53Oh.
15:54It's hard, man.
15:55It's hard.
15:56My shoulder is right now.
15:57It is.
15:59Does swimming make it worse?
16:01Yeah.
16:02Yeah.
16:03Is that what hurt the shoulder, doing like that?
16:07Yeah, I can't swim.
16:08I might have to tap.
16:09I'll show it.
16:11No.
16:28See, we had drown-proofing today.
16:29It was a bit of a mare.
16:31With the final phase of selection imminent, the DS meet to weigh up which recruits have the resilience to last the course.
16:4116.
16:42Hurt shoulder.
16:43It's a struggle, mate.
16:44That shoulder's really blown.
16:46He's injured, but I think he's playing on it a bit.
16:48I think he's looking for a way out.
16:50He's an athlete.
16:51Yeah.
16:52They're just used to like 80 minutes, 90 minutes with a half time.
16:56There is a difference between being an athlete and being a soldier.
17:00He's a worry.
17:01Number eight, swimming was excellent.
17:03And then 13, this is what's so frustrating about him.
17:08Just when you just, you know, want to throw him in the garbage, he shows you something.
17:12Yeah.
17:13Four, she was freaking flapping.
17:16It was brutal.
17:17She pulled her hands out of the bonds and said, I'm drowning, I'm drowning.
17:20She told Dwight that she thought she was going to die.
17:22No way.
17:23Yeah.
17:24All right, so who are we going to bring in?
17:26Number four, she was nervous.
17:28Because we think she already went into the evolution, psyching herself out.
17:32Let's bring four in.
17:34Yeah.
17:35Sound good?
17:36Yeah.
17:37All right, you ready?
17:38At this stage, we will now be analyzing every step of every recruit that is left.
17:46Every single person still has to give 100%.
17:50Anyone at any time now could be gone.
17:53Just like that.
17:55Number four.
17:58The DS have concerns that Hannah Brown is losing her nerve and are bringing her in for tactical questioning.
18:05Normally, I would say, why are you here?
18:26But what I'm going to say is, how are you here?
18:31How the hell are you still here?
18:36I feel like I almost surprised myself with just my ability to keep up and keep moving forward.
18:49Tell me, what's changed?
18:51What was that one that was holding you back?
18:53What was it?
18:54Fear?
18:55Definitely.
18:56I can tell you what I think this is bringing out of me.
18:59Okay.
19:00I can, um...
19:02Scott, um...
19:05Speed.
19:06Yeah, get out.
19:07Yeah.
19:08I've been thinking about it, um...
19:13Maybe, like, why I'm so, like, ready.
19:16Um...
19:20I had, like, tragedy happen really young, and...
19:26My cousins, my two cousins and my aunt were brutally murdered in their home.
19:33And I remember it clearly, and it, like, completely wrecked my family.
19:39And it made my dad pretty, um...
19:42Just always, like, he was so scared.
19:45Um...
19:47And, um...
19:49I think I've constantly lived in fear my entire life.
19:52And...
19:54I feel like this course has helped me push through.
20:00And I am proud of myself, because I was scared it would freeze me, but I do feel like I've tried to fight through it.
20:09You know, you're not the most boisterous, you're not the most aggressive, but you are a strong competitor.
20:15There's a lot more to you than just your trauma.
20:18In some ways, that does shape you and does make you stronger.
20:22That's your past.
20:25It's gone.
20:27You're here, because you should be here.
20:32You're learning through hardness.
20:34I think you've learned that you're a lot more than an image or a book deal.
20:39All right?
20:42Guard!
20:44There were moments of hurt and pain and loss that have happened in my past.
20:54But I've proven to myself how strong I really am.
20:57I can move forward and push through and overcome.
21:01I mean, that is my goal in life.
21:04But it's tough.
21:06How does everything have no real taste?
21:17I don't know.
21:18It don't have no seasoning.
21:20Well, if you were blindfolded, you would not know what you were eating.
21:24Over in!
21:27All in!
21:28Right here!
21:30In a few hours, the recruits will enter the final stage of selection.
21:35Go, guys!
21:36Going on the run without any guidance from the DS.
21:40Follow on.
21:42To prepare them, they will now face a mental test of initiative.
21:49The ability to take initiative is something that's integral to a special forces operator.
21:54This is a thinking man and woman's game.
21:57And voice off.
22:00Recruits have been hooded, shot into a container and tied to a pole.
22:09During this task, we don't give them any instructions.
22:12They have the ability to free themselves and work together to get everybody out.
22:16But they have to make the choice to do it.
22:19Do they have the initiative to get themselves out of this situation?
22:24Or are they all going to just sit there and wait for someone to give them an order?
22:30If they slide along the bar, one of them should be able to slide right almost off the end or off the end.
22:35I reckon 13 will go for it.
22:38Yeah, he's a rebel.
22:39Yeah.
22:42Do they start the timer?
22:45Yeah.
22:46Recruits have 20 minutes to work out that they can and should free themselves.
22:54Once that heat starts kicking in, that's when they're going to start thinking.
22:58Mm-hmm.
22:59Survival.
23:00Tick-tock, tick-tock.
23:06He's going to be the first one to speak.
23:08Yeah.
23:13It's a great test of whether they know how to tap into that survival instead.
23:16Yes.
23:18All she's got to do is slide it along to the end and it comes on.
23:20No one's said a word yet, bro.
23:22Submissive.
23:23Very submissive.
23:2516 is fidgeting.
23:29I've got to start thinking critically.
23:33Six minutes left.
23:37Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
23:39Hang on, hang on.
23:41Good girl.
23:42Yeah, yeah.
23:43She's doing it right there.
23:44Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
23:45Hang on, hang on, hang on.
23:47Good girl.
23:47Yeah, yeah.
23:50She's doing it right there.
23:50Well done, number four.
23:5314 minutes in, number four, Bachelorette Hannah Brown
23:58is the first recruit to free herself.
24:06You guys.
24:07How are you doing, Hannah?
24:08I got out of my thing.
24:10What?
24:11Do we just slip out?
24:13Are you out?
24:14Did you take your, huh?
24:16I got, yeah, just get out.
24:19Are we supposed to get out?
24:20No, no, we can't be.
24:22Are we?
24:23I knew the whole time.
24:25As a young girl, I wasn't told like, oh, you're so smart,
24:29or oh, you're so athletic.
24:30It was, oh, you're so pretty.
24:32But I also wanted to be, like, smart.
24:35Achieving was really important to me.
24:38I didn't know we were supposed to get out.
24:39I thought we were just like .
24:41Yeah, come on.
24:42She's seeking good leadership.
24:44Why would they make it to where we could easily get out
24:47if we weren't supposed to get out?
24:49Smart.
24:50Good on number four for stepping up and thinking critically.
24:53We really underestimated her.
24:55She just continues to go forward.
25:06I don't even know where to begin.
25:07I know.
25:08About this experience.
25:09This is the most anxious I've ever been.
25:20In just a few hours, the final test of selection will begin.
25:25I'm scared.
25:26How do you feel?
25:27I don't know what the **** we're getting into.
25:29The unknown is what always get us.
25:35Recruits will be tasked to evade an enemy force
25:39and will be at risk of capture.
25:40The recruits aren't told when they're going on the run.
25:45They know it's coming,
25:46and the apprehension can sometimes be too much for people.
25:50Here comes Tom Cruise, y'all.
25:51Really?
25:52Yeah.
25:53All right, recruits.
25:54Who knows how to read a map and compass?
25:58No one.
25:59Nobody.
26:00Okay.
26:01Recruits will now be trained for what lies ahead.
26:05In their final mission, they will have to navigate the desert.
26:10Here, I'm going to make two mountains right here.
26:13These are called contour lines.
26:15And I'm going to make two mountains right here.
26:18These are called contour lines.
26:21That means that this is a raised-up area like a mountain.
26:24The recruits will be dropped off in the middle of the desert,
26:27not knowing where they are,
26:28with a sketch map and with some coordinates to follow.
26:32Beat feet to a place that you can cover and conceal yourselves,
26:35and then orient again.
26:37I'm lost.
26:38Do we line this up with this part?
26:40Yeah.
26:41See this arrow right there?
26:42Now we're facing due north.
26:44All right, good to go.
26:46You all do fine.
26:48Focus and practice, all right?
26:50Oh, my God.
26:52What the hell was that?
26:55It really gave us some mission impossible .
26:57Duty recruit.
26:58Get everybody to the chow house.
26:59Our line of operations and work is beyond the enemy lines.
27:14We are always in someone else's backyard.
27:20The possibility of it going wrong and being captured is real.
27:24So we have to be prepared for it.
27:26Relax, listen.
27:27I'm going to shout at you.
27:29It's important what we need to talk about.
27:31One of the biggest sort of threats to us, and very realistic threats,
27:35is the possibility of being captured.
27:38And I do have the authority to speak about this because I have been captured.
27:41All right?
27:42I was about to just get my head blown off.
27:45So you have to have a good reason for you being in that location.
27:50And it's called a cover story.
27:52It's a lie.
27:53In advance of their final mission, recruits will now memorize a story to use in the event of capture.
28:01You got the cover story in front of you there.
28:04Read it out loud from the top till I tell you to stop.
28:07You were in Wadi Rum for a celebrity photo shoot.
28:10The cover story is a reason to be where you are doing what you're doing.
28:14You will be posing as parties of anti-poaching wardens who are trying to prevent wolf poaching in the region.
28:20It's something that you have to make sound believable.
28:23The Arabian wolf is a subspecies of the grey wolf.
28:27Okay, just hold it there.
28:29The key stuff that people would quiz you on is what this wolf really looks like.
28:33So you need to know all that.
28:35And become good actors.
28:37Memorize that story.
28:38Take it all in.
28:39And then be able to apply it when the time comes.
28:44It's for you to build that scenario in your mind and believe it.
28:48To make the person question you, believe it.
28:52This is going to be interesting.
28:53How much does the Arabian wolf weigh?
28:5540 to 45 pounds.
28:56How many inches is he?
28:5826 inches.
28:59This cover story is really in-depth.
29:01It is.
29:02I mean, we got to memorize as much as possible.
29:04It's a lot to remember.
29:05I want to complete this.
29:07You know, I want to be seen as more than a stereotypical football player that can't use his brain.
29:13Just think, if we survive this, no more corned beef ass, no more rotten bananas.
29:28No more sand in between your toes when you go to bed.
29:31In this final phase of selection, they're going to be thrown into the unknown.
29:36Almost there.
29:37Good night, team.
29:38Good night, y'all.
29:39Good night, Fantastic Four.
29:41Good night, y'all.
29:42Good night, Fantastic Four.
29:43Good night.
29:44Good night, Fantastic Four.
29:45Good night.
29:46This is crazy.
29:47Even my butthole is stressed out.
29:49I am so nervous.
29:54This course will change.
29:55And it's going to become a real life fight for survival.
29:59That two!
30:00That two!
30:01Let's go!
30:02Go!
30:03Now!
30:04Now!
30:05Go!
30:06Run!
30:07Here it goes.
30:08That two!
30:09Oh my god.
30:10Let's go!
30:11Go!
30:12Now!
30:13Now!
30:14Go!
30:15Run!
30:16Here it goes.
30:17That two!
30:18Oh my god.
30:19Let's go!
30:20Go!
30:21Now!
30:22Now!
30:23Now!
30:24The final phase of selection is the final phase of selection.
30:36Selection is underway.
30:37Grab your legs!
30:38Grab your legs!
30:39Grab your legs!
30:40Go!
30:41Run!
30:42The base is under a simulated attack.
30:45Recruits are being sent on the run, whilst being pursued by an enemy force.
30:51The camp has come under attack, all right?
30:53We're going to have to evacuate.
30:54We're going to withdraw from a safe passage, all right?
30:57We've got trusted agents who will take us out, drop us off, give us direction to the
31:02next agent, eventually getting you across the border to safety.
31:05That's what's going to happen.
31:06Moon's done that.
31:07Yeah.
31:08Work as a team.
31:09Remember, everything we taught you guys applies.
31:12We always expect to be on the run.
31:14People coming to kill you, it's petrifying.
31:17So we have to be prepared for it.
31:19Your senses are high and everything is now a panic all around you.
31:23And you've got to try and hold it together.
31:26The recruits are split into two teams.
31:30Team Bravo, number 16 Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola, and number 4 Bachelorette Hannah Brown.
31:38We're headed west right now.
31:40Sure.
31:41Team Alpha, number 8 Olympic soccer player Carly Lloyd, and number 13 NBA all-star Dwight Howard.
31:53It's a Black Hawk helicopter right behind us.
31:58They are driven deep into the Wadi Rum desert and dropped at separate locations.
32:09With a basic map and compass, they must locate two rendezvous points along a four-mile valley,
32:16where they will pick up directions to reach the final extraction point.
32:23We should get behind something.
32:28The challenge for both teams is to move swiftly and with stealth,
32:32as they're being pursued by a military hunter force.
32:37We're looking for the fighters, the people that are still willing to think and not shut down.
32:42Nothing sharpens the mind more than being hunted by the enemy.
32:47We're trying to get to you.
32:49Yeah.
32:50So that's the rendezvous point one.
32:52We have to line it up.
32:54This is the terrain.
32:56I don't understand the map.
32:58Here, here.
32:59That way. We gotta go that way.
33:02Which way?
33:03This way.
33:04Are you sure?
33:05Yeah.
33:06Okay.
33:07There needs to be a leader,
33:09and I'm happy to step up and do that.
33:12I do not want to fold under pressure here.
33:15Put it against that arrow.
33:17There you go.
33:18This way?
33:19Lights off, yeah.
33:20I think we gotta go straight up.
33:25It looks like our trackers are working.
33:27Back at base, Chief Rudy and DS Foxy will be assessing the team's performance.
33:33Okay, Alpha's on the move.
33:35But there's a lot of movement in that valley.
33:37I know.
33:38You can see them getting spooked a little bit.
33:40You may think you're safely hidden in the desert,
33:42but you never know what your enemy could see.
33:47Is that a helicopter?
33:48Team Bravo have correctly navigated in the right direction.
33:54Put your light out. Put your light out.
33:56Careful.
33:57Just come up here for a second.
33:58I think we just need to get behind this rock.
34:01Get down.
34:02The desert is honestly, like, my worst nightmare,
34:04and the desert feels like there's no getting out of it.
34:07Like, how could we escape?
34:08Like, that's what I always think of, like,
34:10how could we get out of here?
34:12We have to work as a team,
34:13and you're going way too far ahead of me.
34:15Okay?
34:19Just come up here for a second.
34:23Don't leave me like that, okay?
34:24Oh, no, no.
34:26The key thing about working as a team
34:27is knowing everybody's weakness.
34:29It's important,
34:30when that person needs that extra time,
34:32that extra effort,
34:33you stick with them.
34:34You stand by them.
34:36I can't tell where we are.
34:37We're on, like, a mountain.
34:44You know, we definitely don't do that.
34:46Stay off the rocks.
34:48Yeah, come on, this way.
34:51Those helis have had an impact.
34:53They have seriously got to get a move on.
34:59Moving at pace.
35:00Team Alpha are close to the first rendezvous point.
35:06That's Alpha reaching RV1 now.
35:08Yeah, good effort.
35:09Yeah, good effort.
35:16You want to go further up here?
35:19Turn your light off.
35:20We can use this as cover.
35:22If they get too close,
35:24we'll walk closer to this edge as we can.
35:27In the middle, we're like sitting ducks.
35:29Yeah.
35:30We can use the mountainous shadow.
35:32Using the ground to your advantage
35:35is key to success in escape and evasion.
35:38You should be using rocky outcrops
35:40by hugging them to cover your movement.
35:46What's that noise?
35:47Huh?
35:48What's that noise?
35:49A helicopter.
35:51Come on, Jake.
35:53150 feet behind Team Alpha,
35:55the hunter force are circling.
35:57Come on, baby bro.
35:58Come on, baby bro.
36:00What's that rock?
36:10Oh, they close.
36:16Hurt my toe.
36:18Oh.
36:19Is it just bleeding underneath?
36:21Yeah.
36:22Team Alpha have been stopped in their tracks.
36:25It looks like...
36:26Ugh.
36:27It's f***ing caching.
36:29But to evade the hunter force,
36:31they must push on.
36:34Harry?
36:39Moving with injury,
36:41Team Alpha have chosen to use rocky outcrops
36:45to keep themselves hidden en route to RV Point 2.
36:49Behind a Team Bravo,
36:52finally reaching RV Point 1.
36:56Hey, hey.
36:57How are you?
37:00This is broken.
37:01This is noise right here.
37:02900 meters,
37:0310 for both yards.
37:04We need to go right there.
37:05Okay, so that must be it.
37:06Yeah.
37:07Unlike Team Alpha,
37:08Team Bravo are charting an exposed route
37:09through the desert.
37:10You have to find ways to conceal yourself from the enemy.
37:11They gotta think about the terrain,
37:12how to conceal their tracks,
37:13whether it's wise to take a route that may be easier on them.
37:15Put your light off.
37:16Put your light off.
37:17But we can't see you.
37:18They can see us.
37:19Put it off.
37:20Are you frustrated with me?
37:21No.
37:22No.
37:23Okay, I'm making sure.
37:24I'm trying to know where it is, okay?
37:25I don't know.
37:26We should have stayed in the other spots.
37:27Despite the hunter force overhead...
37:28The chopper's going back.
37:29...and the enemy.
37:30They gotta think about the terrain,
37:31how to conceal their tracks,
37:32whether it's wise to take a route that may be easier on them.
37:34Put your light off.
37:35But we can't see you.
37:36They can see us.
37:37Put it off.
37:38Are you frustrated with me?
37:39No.
37:40Okay, I'm making sure.
37:41I'm trying to know where it is, okay?
37:42I don't know.
37:43We should have stayed in the other spots.
37:44Despite the hunter force overhead...
37:46The chopper's going back.
37:47I don't know.
37:48We should have stayed in the other spots.
37:50Despite the hunter force overhead...
37:51The chopper's going back.
37:52...in search of RV.2, Team Bravo pushed further into the open valley.
38:07That's Bravo flapping about in the open.
38:10If they don't get into cover quick, they are stuffed.
38:15All call signs dismount, dismount.
38:17And there was light.
38:27Stay down.
38:28Stay down.
38:30Still charting a path along a rock ridge,
38:33Team Alpha have spotted the flares of the hunter force.
38:39They're shooting.
38:40But where?
38:41I don't know.
38:43Come on.
38:44That's a flare.
38:45Don't get caught.
38:46Get low.
38:47Get low.
38:48Get low.
38:49Yeah!
38:51Yeah, yeah!
38:52That's the people that's trying to catch us.
38:56Get the vehicles and lights over here!
38:58I really hate sitting like sitting ducks like this.
39:02Put that out.
39:04Yeah.
39:06But they got cars and were by foot in the desert,
39:09so we have to outsmart them.
39:16Both teams are dangerously close to the hunter force.
39:20Their next move is critical.
39:25Cars coming this way.
39:29It's gonna see us.
39:31What do we do?
39:33They're literally right there.
39:35I think we run this way.
39:36You wanna run?
39:37Yeah.
39:41Put the light down.
39:42Put the light down.
39:43In a panic, Team Bravo run for it,
39:45straight into the line of sight of the hunter force.
39:49They're closing on them.
39:50Yeah.
39:52In their sense of urgency,
39:53they've gone and stuffed themselves.
39:56Yeah.
39:57That's them screwed.
39:59We can't get down?
40:04It's over here!
40:07Close up!
40:08Go, go, go!
40:11Jeez!
40:12Go, go, go!
40:14Go, go, go!
40:15Go, go, go!
40:17Go, go, go!
40:22Go, go!
40:24Go, go, go!
40:25Go, go, go, go!
40:26Go, go, go, go!
40:30There it is.
40:31Bravo is in the bag.
40:32That's it.
40:34Team Bravo are the first to be captured.
40:36Still on the run, Team Alpha are pushing ahead towards our V2.
40:46It's like quicksand.
40:51How much of it is being?
40:53I see fire.
40:54I think I see something up there.
40:55You see it?
40:56I see fire.
40:57Come on.
40:58Come on.
41:08That's our V2 reach.
41:09That's good to see.
41:13So we're here?
41:14Uh-huh.
41:15What are we trying to get to?
41:16There.
41:17There?
41:18So I think it's just right up in front.
41:19See the light?
41:20See the light over there?
41:21Yeah.
41:22Come on.
41:24The extraction point is now in their sights.
41:27Charlie.
41:28I'm coming.
41:29Come on, baby girl.
41:31Your steps are like three of mine.
41:33I'm sorry.
41:35Come on.
41:36Whew.
41:37Keep trucking.
41:40They're up our tail.
41:41Huh?
41:42They're up our tail.
41:45Looky here.
41:46Looks like Alpha's made it.
41:48We gotta get in.
41:49Come on.
41:50Let's go.
41:54Stay calm.
41:57We won't make it out of here.
42:01Just when they thought they were safe.
42:04Who's that?
42:10The hunter force closing.
42:14Everybody there?
42:15Get down!
42:16Get down!
42:17Get down!
42:18Get down!
42:19Get down!
42:20Get down!
42:21Get down!
42:22Now, recruits are about to enter the final 12 hours of selection.
42:31That's it.
42:32Interrogation begins.
42:36Next time...
42:38This is crap!
42:39Absolute bull!
42:40Interrogation.
42:41You have no control over your own life.
42:43It's every soldier's worst nightmare.
42:45Don't tell them what I said!
42:47The interrogators are not nice people.
42:49Do you understand?
42:50Yes.
42:51A lot of these celebrities think they know what it's all about.
42:53What happened?
42:54It's not what I'm wrong.
42:55They're gonna be in for a rude awakening.
42:57Lid.
42:59Are you okay?
43:00His pulse is really low.
43:02I think he needs to check with the doc.
